You know the old saying, you get what you pay for. I was only staying for 1 night and went the cheap route, next time I'm in Glen Rose I think I'll stay at one of the newer hotels near by. This hotel is just old and patched up. Not bad for just sleeping, but really, what more do you need in a hotel.

Hotel staff is friendly and prompt with service and help. The condition of this hotel is old and worn. Carpet is frayed, plumbing is dated, rooms are poorly lit. there were a lot of thing that needed fixed. this place was recently taken over. Some of the employees needed to be filled in on Expedia program of how to charge the bill. the contenential breakfast was ok had coffee pot in room NO coffee. needed more trash cans by the rooms had to hunt them down

The false advertising is what made us unhappy--several places in their own literature (and online) stated there would be a continental breakfast. There was not. It's a motel. And quite inexpensive. But it was very clean, the people were very nice and helpful. They gave me coffee and a filter because I was going to be leaving before the office was going open in the morning. It was a very good experience and I would recommend it. But it's not a 4 star luxury accomodation.

This is just a plain old motel. It was clean enough but everything was very old...including the bed. My husband had a backache after sleeping on it. It was okay for a one night stay when you will be spending very little time in the room. The air conditioner and the little fridge worked! There's no in room coffee maker, which was very dissapointing. […] There was a resteraunt right across the parking lot from our room that had great coffee and breakfast. The hotel was fine for its purpose which was a place to sleep and take a shower while I was at a horse show. Do not count on the breakfast as its extremely lacking. Fridge in the room for water or left overs and a microwave. Good enough for the amount of time I was there.

This was a last minute booking that the hotel had not received when I arrived late in the night. The staff were friendly and asked that I just go over everythign with them in the morning before I checked out. I had to leave out pretty early and the office still had not received confirmation of payment and asked if they could procure the funds and issue […] me a credit at a later date. It was very easy check in and out. It was very reasonable priced compaired to other Hotels in Glen Rose. The room was clean and it was close to everything. I felt safe and comfortable. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Glen Rose is a really nice little town.

This motel was very inconvient, No coffe pot or micro wave in room. The breakfast area was very small,one table, only had a few sweet rolls,I had a handicap room, no smoking etc. the stairs from 2nd floor came down at my door and people were standing around the foot of the stairs smoking. I had to request the manager get a motorcycle out of our handicap […] parking space. this motel consists of 2 large buildings seperated by a street so our room was across the street and at the far end of the parking lot. The location is extremely convenient for dinosaur valley state park, dinosaur workday, fossil rim wildlife center, and Rhodes canoe rental. It is near all of these locations centrally. There are restaurants and stores within walking distance. Everything about it was great except the actual room. At first when we walked in we noticed two things. First […] was the smell of cigarettes even bough we got a non smoking room. Second was that the walls were noticeably dirty. We hadn't expected much for the price so that was manageable. They have shampoo and soap dispenser in the shower with name brand stuff. It was really neat. Beds were average leaning to the firm side. Pool was great. It was quiet the whole stay. Worst thing was that in the morning after we woke up there was a dead cockroach in the bathroom. Not cool! The breakfast was just coffee, forage juice, milk, cereal, toast, and a variety of packaged pastries, honey binds, etc. While I didn't exactly enjoy the room, I would stay again for the convenience of location and the fact that it was, at the time, 30 less a night than the next cheapest hotel.
