The hotel, bar & food quality is excellent. Set in a rural area with easy acess to motorway. Would reccomend this hotel if in the area. Our stay was only 1 night as we were travelling. Excellent value.

Due to situation beyond my control, I arrived to the castle very late. So no time to tour the grounds or castle. I did get to walk a round on the inside some and take a few pictures. It was a bit too commercial feeling to me. But the room and bed were very comfortable.

We felt that we had found a little slice of heaven at the Buck House Hotel. We were treated as long-lost cousins in this absolutely beautiful little village next to the River Dee. We received service beyond any we had dreamed of expecting. It was quaint with lovely food served downstairs in the pub by Karen, her Mum and their assistants.

When I arrived I was given a very warm welcome. The suite was independent of other rooms and opened to the courtyard (parking area). I had to eat out in the evening which was no problem. Breakfast was served in the main part of the house and was excellent with a good selection of cooked breakfast. The hosts were very helpful about a problem I had […] with my car. A little bit outside Shrewsbury but a very nice facility. The room and bathroom were very nice with complements to owner. Beside the rented part there is a lounge free to use for both rooms. The breakfast with fresh friuts, yoghourt ans cerials or full english breakfast was fantastic.
