"Right in the heart..."
This is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of everything that the Tongariro National Park has to offer. The food and services are top class, however the facilities and decor could you a serious update. "What a mess"
A hotel that would have probably done well if it was 1960 or 1970. The common areas are very nice and the staff was decent enough but the rooms and eating options --- about as bad as it gets, especially considering this is supposed to be a luxury hotel. The rooms are very dated and things like the shower are simply awkwardly converted bathtubs. Overall […] we were expecting much more from this hotel given it's price and grand name.
