Over night for a tough Mudder in Scotland. Pauline was great! Room was very clean and comfortable. Would stay again!

We arrived a little late but were given a warm welcome by our friendly host.
The room was clean, stylish and comfortable but was let down by the carpet which was very worm and dated.
Access was easy to a well proportioned car park.

lets put it this way I would not stay there again

Very Nice, easy to find and easy parking. Excellent breakfast. No Bath. Maybe a bit pricey for class. no signal on tv but weather was to blame for that.

This B&B was easy to find and just off the motorway.... We stayed in the family room, room 1 and having been
Met by Pauline the owner, we were given a quick rundown of the B&B along with the keys. The room was a good size with the double bed consisting of two singles pushed together. The other two beds were a single and a pull out truckle bed from underneath. All the beds were comfortable but even with the double glazing you could still hear the motorway traffic. The only let down for us was the breakfast (see photo) the eggs were pre-cooked and kept warm and all the eggs had solid yolks.. The hash browns were soft and the bacon was hard. Again obviously all precooked. None of us ate the sausages as the resembled beige playdough when you cut them open. There was one cringworthy moment when another of the guests at breakfast asked for scrambled eggs only to be told no it was fried egg week.. Then was a shame really. We paid an above average price of £120 for the one night and when you consider that a stay in a Premier Inn with unlimited breakfast is cheaper... then ... Unfortunately.. Next time.. it's a no brainer...
Made a last minute decision to go through Gretna when we were having a weekend away. We booked this B and B the same day. The room we booked was a double. When we arrived the owner of the B and B, Pauline informed us that as they were not too busy so she had put us in a family room for more space. We had a very large family room with a large double bed and a lovely bathroom. This place is clean and near the famous blacksmiths where the weddings take place. The owner is very welcoming and accommodating. The morning breakfast was of very good standard. All in all a lovely stay would go again.
thank you for a grate stay was booked for us by family lovely room just the right amount of tartan for that Scottish touch though the room did seam to have a fly problem not sure if coming from out side and some cob webs on light being a head house keeper its hard to miss thees things but breakfast was grate so much choice that is in the price fluffy soft towels in the room 4 poster bed did not want for any thing lovely owner Pauline even helped us take photos out side a realy good stay
Booked into Greenlaw due to attending a wedding at Gretna. We were upgraded to family room at same cost at booking. Spacious room with ensuite. Very clean and comfortable. Heating if you needed it. Breakfast was of good quality and very tasty.. Can have a choice of Scottish cooked breakfast, lighter breakfasts or smoked salmon breakfast. Cereal, yoghurts and fresh fruit offered for clients to help themselves to.. Pauline the proprietor was very friendly and helpful. Takes pride in the establishment. Fresh flowers on display. This accommodation option was much better and more value for money than staying at the wedding venue which was charging £125 per night. Was just a walk around the corner so no hardship or taxi fares. Late night key available. Well worth a visit.
Of the many B & B's in and around Gretna, we chose this as close to the Famous Blacksmith's and good prior reviews. We weren't disappointed. Location was close enough to the Blacksmith's without being too close. Our whole family stayed, and within minutes it was a first-name relationship with the owners. Breakfast was good Scottish fare. Rooms weren't over-large but adequate. Corridor access let the place down but I suppose fire regulations must prevail.
We stopped for two nights to do some family history reseach , Pauline gave us a warm welcome and showed us to our room,
The room was large clean and had all we need some up date would help but no issue with the room.
The breakfast was very good and we could not fault it .
The 10am check out is a bit early but we where aware when we booked so no problems there
if we are in the area again we would use this B&B
We stayed at Greenlaw GH for two nights whilst in Gretna Green for our wedding. We were a family group of nine and Pauline was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was outstanding with a good selection of hot & cold available. The guest house is well situated for access to the wedding venues and Gretna town itself.
With reasonable rates and a friendly welcome, we would definitely go back. We had an amazing wedding and Greenlaw GH helped to complete the whole weekend for us. I would recommend a stay at Greenlaw GH, even if you're not there for a wedding, you will not be disappointed. Thank you, Pauline.

A party of 10 of us stayed for two nights as we were attending a wedding in Gretna. I would just like to thank Pauline for making us feel so welcome. Our rooms were clean and had all we needed. Breakfast was beautiful. Pauline couldnt have been more helpful. Thank you.
I've stayed here before on trips to Scotland as Gretna is an easy day's drive from home so it makes a nice place to break up the trip. The rooms are fine, the breakfast is fine, but what made me come back is the owner, Pauline. She is so friendly and helpful, and makes staying at the Greenlaw a pleasure.
Stayed for one night on 22-3 on the way for a couple of days in Mid Scotland. A clean no frills b&b and as other have mentioned nothing was too much trouble for the owner Pauline.. Being totally honest the hotel was probably a 3.5 out of 5 but will give it 4 for the fact Pauline was so charming and helpful....
