"Lovely auberge in convenient location"Reviewed by Leslie of "London, UK" on Mar 20, 2012
Great location, lovely staff, the room was spotless and very comfortable. I arrived and was offered an upgrade. The lady at reception was very nice and gave me some tips as to what to see in Quebec. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Overall, a great hotel. I will come back. Thank you!
"Great Hotel"Reviewed by Mark J of "Lancaster, England" on Nov 8, 2011
My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights, having got the train up from Montreal. The location is very good, being effectively just over the road from the railway station, restaurants aplenty just a few yards down th road, and about a 5-10 minute slow walk from the Old Town. The breakfast of croissants, orange juice and other items is hung in a basket outside your room - very convenient. My only (minor) gripes are that our room was slightly smaller than expected, and could possibly have done with a new carpet. Notwithstanding these littl points, however, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

"great location in old town quebec"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 4, 2011
The Hotel Ste-Anne, on a pedestrian only lane in Old Town Quebec City, provided a great jumping off point to enjoy this very beautiful city. Within walking distance of many of the most famous locations in Quebec, and the taxi line if you want to venture farther afield. The hotel was clean, room was comfortable, staff was very helpful. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends!
"Cheaper accommodation outside Quebec city"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 3, 2011
Very pleasant hotel with good breakfast. Close to the aquarium but 10-15 min drive from the old city.

"The Gite 182 - Close to all Quebec has to offer."
I loved the Gite 182, for it's closeness to the Old Quebec, to the University of Laval and attraction that Quebec city has to offer. The rooms are small but very comfortable. You have a restaurant underneath you and around the Gite. You also have convenience stores around it. You are close to the Old Quebec to see the old buildings for sightseeing. […] After a good days roaming the city, you have a nice place to relax and have a nice alone time by yourself or your mate. Enjoy. Read more
"Great place to stay!"
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Gite 812. The room was small, but cozy with TV, comfortable bed and small sink. Hehe, the sink was a little too small, but there are clean shared bathrooms nearby. We were really impressed by the shared space including fridges, stove, tables, couches, etc, it made our stay much more confortable and allowed […] us to eat what we wanted. Breakfast was included, we have nothing but good things to say about the Gite and would recomment it to anyone! We went down to the Quebec carnaval, a quick bus ride to downtown. The city is beautiful! Read more

"Hotel Le Gite 812"
It is a great place to rest when you were visiting Quebec City, it is clean, it has an easy access to the downtown by the bus #7, only 20 minutes to commute. If you need a hotel just for rest in Quebec I can recommend this hotel, it also has a great breakfast include it on the price.
"Great Last Minute Hotel Choice"
My husband and I were in Montreal and wanted to go to Quebec City, so we were searching for a hotel to stay at and cannot tell you how expensive the hotels were and how far away they were from Old Quebec City. We found Cite le 812 Hotel for a great price and we were happy that we found it and we picked it. It is a small hotel, located on the second […] floor, but for the price and its cleanliness and all that it offeres you, it was perfect. We are a couple that just leaves our belongings in the room and we are out the whole day. The room is small, but it was perfect for us. They offer you a delicious breakfast every morning in the restaurant that is located downstairs, and you could cook your own food if you wish in the kitchen that you shared with the other guests. You also have to share the bathroom with the other guests, but that wasn't a problem because there are three bathrooms to choose from. You can also wash and dry your clothes if you wish. Downstairs was a restaurant if you wish to eat there and the food was delicious. The people were helpful and also bi-lingual. The location was perfect, it was about 8 miles away from Old Quebec City and we took the #7 bus, which took 20 minutes to arrive there. The only recommendation I can suggest is that the fan in the room was not enough, two days we had hot weather and the room was stifling to sleep in. AC was needed on those nights. All in all it was a great choice. Read more
"Gite le 812"
The hotel was very close to old Quebec city and the hospital where my sister was. It was a small fee to go to old Quebec or the hospital. The staff went out of there way to accomondate us and thou we did not speak french there was no lanquage barrier because of the helpfull staff. The rooms are very small but if all you need is somewhere to sleep they […] are perfect. They have a sitting area as well as a full kitchen out side the room and the bathrooms and showers were very clean. The restaurant /bar down stairs was very nice and clean and the food was well priced and very tasty. I would stay again if I needed somewhere close to downtown at a very reasonable rate. My hat off to the staff thank-you for an enjoyable stay. Read more

"One night in July"
We liked the place, the room was small, it has shared bathrooms (3) but all clean. It was very hot that night and no A/C made it a wee bit warm until 1AM. There is a large community kitchen which was very clean and a tiny sitting room with a 'view' of the corner that made a decent little reading room. Great access to bus routes into Old City. Resto […] Ryna on the first floor was very convenient with average food and very friendly service. We speak no French and the staff AND patrons were exceptionally kind in all facets of conversation. We parked our motorcycle on the street outside our window and felt comfortable. The neighborhood was pretty quiet at night and into the morning hours of Sunday. Read more
