"Perfekt für Partygänger!!"
Im grossen und ganzen bin ich zufrieden. Apartamentos Caribe befindet sich an einem perfekten Ort, da sowohl die ruhe und in unmitelbarer nähe die geilsten Clubs und Shoppingstrassen zu finden sind. Das Personal ist auch sehr kulant und zuverlässig..(ist in Lloret de Mar schwierig zu finden!) Was mich persöhnlich gestört hat sind die versteckten Kosten, […] wie z.B. Wc Papier, Bettdecke/Kissen, Wlan und die 120 Euro Kaution. Diese Kaution bekommt man dafür ohne Probleme voll ausbezahlt. Me and my boyfriend couldnt fault it !!!!!!! We didnt expect so much from 1star, friendly staff, veeeery clean room also very specious, swimming pool was big enough and water quiet warm (warmer than a sea anyway :) ). Easy to find, just ask someone on the street when you get off from the coach, dont go in direction showed by the bus driver !!!!

Group of 5 friends spent 7 days in Caribe Apartments. We arrived at 22.00 and the staff was waiting. The night receptionist doesn't understand very good English, but he was very friendly and tried to help us. The next day receptionist spoke very good English. We booked 2 bedrooms apartment (one bunk bed, one sofa bed and two single beds). The beds wasn't very comfortable, especially the bunk bed. The room with bunk bed was very small maybe for kids. The kitchen is well equipped. We must pay 120 € deposit, what we get back after check out. It is good value for families and young friends too.

my husband & I booked a 2 bedroom apartment for ourselves & our 17 & 13 yr old daughters and 5 & 4 yr old sons in august 2013, staff were great very helpful and friendly , pool was great for the kids, apartment very clean and had everything you need. As regular visitors to Lloret we will definitely be staying here again with the kids. Ideal location close to beach, and town !!

My boyfriend and I had our own apartment with the entire roof top to ourselves which was lovely and pretty romantic! Very close to the sea front, only a 2 minute walk at max and surrounded by restaurants and shops. Clean apartment with fully equipped kitchenette. Pool was very small but also very clean. Working television but unfortunately no air condition so can get pretty hot at times! Staff were all very welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed the holiday! Because of previous reviews stating the coach driver dropped them at the wrong location we printed the address and showed them and problem solved! We arrived at the hotel gone 1am and the reception was still opened and waiting for us. The only problem I had was the mattresses werent quite up to scratch and so we had to sleep with the blanket on top of the mattress.

After the coach driver crashed and dropped us off in the wrong place and 2 hours of stressfully wondering around, my boyfriend and I finally found the tiny hotel with no reception, just a shed which was closed. There was a note under the stairs which instructed us to call a number to get the keys to our room. We called the number, but it didn't work so we had to go to other hotels for help. Apparently this is a regular thing and most people have trouble finding the apartments and collecting their keys. We finally were let into our room 4 hours after expected with the only member of staff claiming to have been to the toilet. Our room was a pleasant surprise and we had the whole roof as a balcony. The pool was a major let down and was tiny. The hotel is situated near a supermarket and the beach is on the doorstep which is a plus, and the excursions were excellent, especially to the fountains and water parks. All in all I definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone as the staff (one woman) was rude and the friendliest company we had were the stray cats wondering around.
"Bit of a nightmare"

Our holiday did not get off the the best of starts, firstly finding these apartments was a nightmare. The coach driver left us off in the wrong place, we wandered around for about 2 hours, lugging around suitcases trying to find the apartments. It was very late and both my boyfriend and I were tired and hungry after a long day travelling. When we eventually found the apartments there was NO reception. Instead we had to ring a number to contact the staff at a sister hotel..the phone number didnt work, so once again we had to set off to find this other hotel in order to get our keys for the room. It was a bit of a joke. After handing over the 120 euro deposit we finally got into our apartment. We were pleasantly surprised, the apartment was much bigger than we expected, with two bedrooms, a separate kitchen and a living/dining room. However the two single beds which we pushed together to make a double bed were really uncomfortable!! The pool was also a bit of a let down as it is tiny and the pool side with loungers would only hold about 10 people max. One thing I hated about these apartments was the wild cats that roamed around all day and night. The perks of these apartments: close to a supermarket where we bought fresh croissants and bread every morning. 5 minute walk from the sea front with bars and restaurants (although it is about a 15-20min walk to the main lively area with the nightclubs and arcades). Overall these apartments are cheap but not cheerful. Definitely spend a little extra money and stay in a hotel with a decent pool, and a reception which makes you feel safe. Llorett de mar is a wonderful place so dont let these apartments spoil your holiday!!!

again on most sites the confusion seems to arise because originally there was a caribe hotel in a different location of lloret (now closed) - we arrived at night and directed wrongly by the coach driver, having wondered around for about an hour we found the closed caribe hotel with the help of a local bar owner. We then asked directions from a local hotel - the girl was great even with limited english to identified where we needed to be and organised a taxi for us, it was only a 5 min drive, but we were tired hungry, and angry. On arrival at the caribe apartments they said it always happens . The reason for this is that most of the companies advertising the apartments have the info mixed with the caribe hotel stating there are 160 apartments with other facilities mentioned - the caribe apartments have no more than about 12 apartments.Warnings should also be made re the 120 euros demanded on arrival. All of us ended up with bites not mosquito bites, I believe were bed bugs - I dreaded going to bed please get them to throw away the matresses........

My daughter and myself arrived in lloret at 12.20 in the morning the driver of the coach told us the wrong directions to apartments so we were left walking the streets in a strange country until 2am when a friendly waiter got a map out to show us the way, when we got to caribe apartments we then had to ring a number to get some one there to book us in and give us a key, not before we handed over 120 euros deposit, he then proceeded to take us to our room which was up on the roof so we had six flights of stairs to climb a mortise locked door then our apartment, he gave me a list of items which were in the room and how much each item was if broken or dirty so my daughter done her own list!!and it was now 3.30 in the morning but there was a broken chair no kettle broken leg on table broken toaster and the room looked liked it hadn't been cleaned at all, the holiday it's self was good but hard going every time you had to go up and down six flights of stairs, the only up side was that we had the whole roof terrace to our selfs , the pool is just the size of a large garden pond and there was nowhere to get drink apart from your room and that are not allowed round the pool, (pond) there was never anyone on reception and when we did check out the young kid asked if l had cleaned the room as he couldn't be bothered to go and check, but believe me l left it cleaner then when we arrived!! L know this was a cheap holiday but there standards are a lot lower then l expected l would never book on low cost holidays again their discription is so so wrong and shouldn't be allowed, stay here at your own peril!!!!!

poor standard of apartments, decor very dated and dirty in places. the door handle. in our room was broken. no handle on the wardrobe door both were reported but not repaired, but we were questioned about them before recieveing our deposit back. the apartment was not cleaned during our weeks stay nor were our towels changed, we were also told if our towels were dirty money would be deducted from our deposit of 120.00 euros, reception was a woodern hut and not maned the whole time.

We booked Caribe Apartments via the booking.com 1 month in advance.We supposed to stay there for 9 nights and we received booking reservation.We had booked 1apart.with two bedrooms...When we arrived the reception was closed and there was a notice that we should collect the key in a different hotel.We went there and to our surprice-they told us that in booking system there was a mistake and the had not booked apart. for us!!!They offered us different apart. BLAVAMAR for the same price.The hotel was close to the beach for only advantage,interier in the room was very poor,they wanted deposit 120EUR and card reader was broken...ants in the room, noisy street below,torned blanket...different level of accomodation-terrible.There were lot of people with this story.We wanted to publish the details in the hope that it would warn other travellers,we think that is just a trick how to sell terrible rooms.We hope that the owners will change their approach.
