Nice owner. Provided discount meal coupons for dinner in town. Town is 3 miles away. No issues here. There is an older mobile home that blocks the spectacular view.

Really beautiful views from this guest house. The room we had was a little dusty. Breakfast was pretty good. The woman proprietor was very friendly and accommodating. Management seemed a little confused about my booking through hotels.com.

If your looking for a nice welcome well you've come to the wrong place, booked it for a night and thank The Lord it was just one night as for the second night stay just done good old fashion foot work and got something else in the same area at a better rate with better facilities. The place is very good. It is a little far from Fort Williams (10 min in car), however if you have a car this is not a problem. It is by the water, so it has a very nice view. As a B&B Campfield offers a most pleasant, friendly and comfortable stay. Our twin room may have appeared small to some, but it was by no means cramped. The en-suite certainly had a small corner washhand basin ( perfectly adequate for hands & face) but the shower was full sized and easily controlled for temperature and flow. The wall mounted TV worked […] well with all stations available and clear picture (most places the TV does not work easily or you get only a few channels). Beds were the best we have had anywhere. The breakfast menu offered a good choice and was of a high quality in presentation and cooking. Breakfast & breakfast time is usually arranged the night before ( 3 choices of timings) to allow you to have your breakfast promptly and without delay which is very useful to many travellers. Myself and my partner stayed here for 2 nights last week celebrating my partners birthday - we had an excellent stay as were very impressed with the services. The room was very clean and tidy, even had a complimentary box of fudge at the side of the bed! The room was asked for was a double room, when we arrived it was 2 singles pushed together but we […] didnt mind as they were memory foam matresses and didnt come apart in the night! Hotel like many in the area is somebody's house. Room is small but clean and modern. Service was ok, had 1 quite ignorant moment with the woman but other than that it was good. Parking is sufficient, if you're on motorcycles watch out as its gravel. Breakfast was good and filling. We were asked to choose 5 from a list of things for the cooked breakfast, […] we found this quite amusing as we hadn't experienced somebody saying this before and it's become a bit of a joke that we use on each other now. Wir haben am morgen den Ben Nevis erklimmt und freuten uns aus eine komfortable Nacht im B&B. Es liegt jedoch viel weiter ausserhalb als angenommen, eine Taxifahrt kostet 11 Pfund und der Bus kommt unregelmäßig und hält nur auf demand ( wenn am im richtigen bus sitzt). wir waren 15 Minuten vor Check-In- Zeit da und wurden daraufhin eher nicht so nett […] empfangen. Frühstücken war in Ordnung und Zimmer groß mit eigenem Bad+TV etc. Wir hatten jedoch keinen Schlüssel für unser Zimmer. Das Hotel liegt an einer Hauptstraße mit Blick aufs Loch. Jedoch kann man nicht ums Loch herumwandern noch sonst viel in der unbemittelbaren Umgebung des b&bs machen, ein Auto ist also ein Must-Have! Read more
