I had a wonderful time in Paris. The rooms are efficient, modern and very clean. Very easy to get to Metro stations since its located between two stops. Highly recommend this hotel for the travelers who are looking for a decent hotel in a budget. I would definitely stay there again.

Situated in the heart of Paris, Hotel New Parnasse is within walking distance of Bobino and Tour Montparnasse. Also nearby are Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art and Notre Dame Cathedral.

The location of this hotel made it worth the money. We were able to walk back from the Eiffel tower in 25 minutes, and it right by a metro stop. The... surrounding neighborhood is lively and full of great restaurants and bakeries. The hotel itself was so-so, but given the cost of everything in Paris it is not a bad deal. The lobby was definitely the prettiest part. The room itself was a decent size (for Paris), but the bathroom was so small that you had to sit on the toilet sidewise. Probably for this very reason, there was a distinct smell of urine in the room that pervaded throughout the duration of our three day visit. I even tried to hunt down the source and clean it myself...to no avail. The walls and doors are starting to molder and bit, as are the water- stained drop ceilings. However, all the important elements were there: the bed sheets were clean, we saw no insects or roaches, and the television and air conditioning both worked. We had requested a non-smoking room; the room had an ashtray, and always smelled strongly of smoke after maid service. When we used the ashtray as a soap dish, the maid threw out our soap and placed the ashtray where we had found it,, front and center on the desk. The shower had only one of a pair of swing shower doors, the other half was apparently […] never installed, so that we couldn't shower without getting the toilet, and the rest of the bathroom, soaked. We showered only before leaving for the day, so that the bathroom had a chance to dry. And we later found out that other nearby hotels, including the Holiday Inn, had better room prices. L'hôtel est très bien situé à 5 mn de la Gare Montparnasse ce qui est très pratique pour un départ très tôt le matin. Il faut savoir que la qualité de l'hôtel est en totale adéquation avec le prix : l'insonorisation laisse complètement à désirer et on entend tout ce qui se passe dans les chambres voisines. Il faut espérer avoir des voisins discrets […] pour passer une nuit au calme. J'ai logé en septembre 2009 et juillet 2012 dans ce hôtel où je garde un très bons souvenir.Le personnel dans son ensemble est sympa; l'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal pour les transits vers l'intérieur, nomtament vers la Brétagne où réside nom un enfant.

Pratique car près de la gare Montparnasse. Assez calme malgré 2 établissements de nuit ds la même rue. Entretien à revoir : tapisserie decolees, plaques du plafond tombent. Salle de bain petite : problème d'écoulement du lavabo, douche pas très propre.
