I was very positively surprised, since the hotel is located a short walk away from the city centre (the tram line 61 takes you all the way to the hotel though). The hotel radiates a very welcoming warm genuine atmosphere, far away from cold design hotels with enormous entrance halls. The room was large and clean and the beds had those thick quilts that German/Austrian/Swiss hotels always have in the movies. The TV set was modern and with excellent receiption on all channels. And on ground floor, not really part of the hotel, is a very traditional German restaurant specializing in local dishes like fresh asparagus with pork escalopes, and they poored the beer in the traditional 7 minute style resulting in a big foam at the top of the glass. I truly enjoyed my whole stay at this hotel, and it was very high value for the price too!

Hotel situated close to centre in nice quiet area. Easy to find by car, hotel has own parking but cheaper car parking can be found 100 m away. Great breakfast. Good value.

Little smelted (old carpet?), but cheap and good food. With auto - not problem with location.
