Five blocks (albeit downhill) from the Alhambra, steps from a beautiful park and in the must-see Albayzin neighborhood, this was a beautiful and unforgettable place to stay. The walls are a little thin, though, so if you have noisy neighbors it can get hard to sleep. Otherwise, fabulous.

Location.
Hotel Alcover is close to Fuentes de las Batallas, Granada Cathedral, and Plaza Nueva. Also nearby are Arab Baths and San Jeronimo Monastery.

Very well and centrally located. There wasn't any parking with the hotel, but there was an underground car park round the corner and with enough looking... it was possible to park for free - although you'll need to be patient and go around the block a few times! The street location was actually very quiet, considering the location. The only noise problem we had was that the other guests staying in the hotel were very loud when coming back at 3am and 5am each night we were there, but that may have something to do with it being a bank holiday the weekend we were there. We had a very warm welcome when we arrived, and were given a map of the area etc. The room was very clean, looked like it had only been recently re-furbished, and looked just like the photo on the website. Our room tided and we were given clean towels each day. The deal we had didn't include breakfast, but there were many options within a very short walk. by a Hotels.com guest on 11/04/11

Very well and centrally located. En ce qui concerne l'Hotel Alcover, pas grand chose à dire: chambre neuve et design, literie excellente et propre, un bémol: les toilettes à nettoyer mais, une erreur peut arriver...Néanmoins, nous avons décidé de prolonger notre séjour de 24 heures. L' Alcover étant complet, la réception étant une rue à coté (Hotel Casablanca) nous a proposé une chambre […] dans cet hotel ("plus vieux mais même catégorie", je cite!). Quelle dégringolade: chambres sales (nous en avons visité deux), vétustes, télévion hs, lierie nulledraps troués et serviettes douteuses et usées jusqu'à la trame...Chambre très bruyante (l'hotel acceuille principalement des groupes).Pas de réception donc à l'Alcover dont la rue sent très mauvais. pas de possibilité de petit déjeuner également. En conséquence, nous ne pouvons bien noter ces deux établissement qui n'en font qu'un. Read more
