Victory Saigon Hotel - Ho Chi Minh City

The hotel's location is within walking distance of the must-see sights. It was clean and the staff was very courteous. The swimming pool was a great escape from the heat and the crowds. We really enjoyed our stay there.

We stayed here for one night , my wife loved the swimming pool. The room is not big , and it had an antique style headboard and footboard which occupied most of the space of the room. And My wife had hit herself at the footboard 3 times. I would suggest them change the bed to a modern one . What was not great is they didn't have enough power outlets […] in room either. However , the Location is good , quiet and close to most of the sightseeing points. We loved their dinner buffet which cost so cheap , just under $20 USD, and The free breakfast buffet was delicious too. We will sure stay here again . Read more

Hotel is very well situated, it is close to most inner city attraction, close to supermarket. The hotel is very clean and comfortable however I did not filn the staff at the reception to be very friendly at all, and did not speak English very well.

T he hotel was near many of the Major sights , but the area it was in was not close to restuarants, though there was a supermarket nearby . The room was spacious and clean , but due to the strip lighting over the window and the lack of lamps in the room , the room appeared to be rather miserable . The hotel catered for the asian market . Breakfast was […] completly Asian . I stayed over two weeks in Vietnam and other hotels did attempt to give some kind of European breakfast . The pool was very crowded and the water was rather cloudy . There was a kettle in my room but no tea making or cups . I bought coffee and tea . I asked for cups and at first they would not give me two cups . It took some time to get two cups . There appeared to be an attitude that you were going to steal everything out of the room . Passports were not given back until you checked out . I requested my passport back and this was refused . On check out you had to wait , even though I had paid in advance for my room to be checked by staff . There was a list in the room of the cost of each item , including the key cards , which if lost cost 10US dollars each . Thw reception staff did not smile no warm welcome . Usually on check in tou are given a map and told where the hotel is on the map . This did not happen . I had to ask for a map . Other hotels the reception staff were friendly and cheerful and wanted to assist tourists this did not appear to be the case in this hotel . Read more

When I arrived at the Hotel, the staff at the front desk were far from welcoming, the simply checked me in and did not explain anything about the Hotel and where things were located. They seemed more interested in serving the customers behind me. The room, whilst clean had a constant mothball smell about it. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The […] air conditioner was not up to the task, the TV had poor reception, and at times the picture dropped out. The room had poor sound proofing as I could hear numerous people yelling and carrying on in the hallways and other parts of the hotel. Also had to endure the smell of cigarette smoke in my room as guest were allowed to smoke in the hallways and inevitably the smoke got into my room. The hotel swimming pool was far from a relaxing/fun place to be, it was more of a lap pool, as people were either having swimming lessons or swimming laps. Upon checking out the staff the at the front desk continued with the level of service that I received when checking in. Did not receive a thank you or hope you enjoyed your stay, after checking everything they simply said you can go know. Won't stay here again, lots of better hotels around. Read more

It was our first time to Ho Chi Minh and the first night we stayed in the heart of District 1 which was a bit manic so we moved to the Victory Hotel which was on the cusp of District 3 and 1. It was in a nice area that was a welcome change to the hustle and bustle but close enough to the action and only a couple of blocks from the War Remnants museam. The […] amenities were good and like most mid priced hotels in Vietnam, it includes a buffet breakfast that caters to asian and western tastes. There is also a spa/massage service on the 7th floor which supposed to be for both men and women but definitely caters more for men (no steam bath or sauna for women). Not satisfied because aircon not really cold, no aircon at the hallway and it is realky warm, breakfast buffet not really good. Asked them to have a cheese they will not give u anything. Service no good either and difgicult to undertand their english. One ofthe guard is impolite.

Man får vad man betalar för , lågt pris och acceptabelt. Restaurang-och receptionspersonal trevliga och hjälpsamma. Killarna som skötte poolen låg och sov på sina egna solstolar, inget större intresse att hjälpa till eller kontroll över läget, de flesta solstolar var trasiga och dynor smutsiga.

スタッフ全てが真面目に務めている感じを強く受けました。べてナムの良い点です。 近くのスーパーは、ベトナムの本当の物価を教えてくれます。 プールがあるので選びましたが、これは❌。のんびりする場所にはなりません。 また、立地が悪い。夜は周囲を歩いている人はいません。 しかし、ベトナムのホテルはいい！これからも期待します。
