It was just OK. There is a Tim Hortons across the street though. Parking lot for hotel was a bit cramped

"Feels like the country, but can walk to town."
Beautiful, beautiful room and bathroom. Very well taken care of. Great extras for guests like the 24 hr. coffee / tea staion. Within walking distance of downtown for dinner and drinks. Breakfast was delicious and staff are so great. My only complaint is that we were in room 3, which is downstairs next to the living room. "Well done, Victoria Rose Inn"
It's hard to properly maintain a 130+ year mansion, but the staff at the Victoria Rose do very well. Our bedroom and bathroom were clean and well-appointed. Bed was good but not great. My wife and I wish our one night here could have been a week. "Almost got it right"
Beautiful old guest house, very charming. We had a very spacious room with a queen bed. Few annoying things. Only one bedside table and no bedside lights. A nice enough luxury bed and breakfast set in good surroundings. Three flights of stairs and no lift (quaint but back breaking). Very comfortable room but no television in room or in lounge (Didn't not want to see the closing ceremony of the Olympics!!!!). Exceptionally noisy room woken at 4.30am and again at 6.00am. The Victoria Rose Inn was the perfect get-away. Old world charm with modern conveniences. Very polite and friendly staff and a really comfortable room. We thoughly enjoyed our stay at Victoria Rose Inn. It was very cozy and our room was wonderful. The full breakfast every day was a treat and they made a lot of effort to give us something different every day. Waffles and fresh fruit one day. fruit, eggs and bagels another day.
