"Centrally located, great value"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 1, 2012
Excellent hotel, perfect location (5-10 minutes walk to Place Market) and most importantly, great value for money. Most other hotels in this area with the same amenities and level of service are more expensive.
"Quirky Hotel in great neighbourhood"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 23, 2012
MarQueen is a very quirky hotel that takes you back in time with the lovely antique design. Rooms are spacious with an eat in kitchen with microwave and coffee making facilities. Rooms are clean and beds are very comfy. Location is great for the Seattle Center and the Space Needle, can catch the monorail to downtown from there and this makes it a great location. Easy night time parking on the street outside hotel which is free from 8 pm to 8 am, hotel has valet parking for $25 per night but I found street parking worked well. Hotel staff are very friendly and most helpful, would definatelly go back and recommend to friends and family.
"Superb Value"Reviewed by Mark M of "Hampshire, UK" on Apr 17, 2012
Excellent value hotel with generous breakfast. Only thing wrong was the use of plastic plates and cutlery for breakfast!

"Good Quality Hotel"
Service was friendly, room was clean, breakfast was standard continental fare. Overall a pleasant experience. A bit far from downtown Seattle, but relatively convenient even when travelling by public transit.

"perfect"
love the area, great hotel
We could walk to the venue we were there to Visit. The quietness was exemplary dispite the proximity of boeing field
The manager was very pleasant and mad you feel welcome. Talked to you whenever he saw you and tried to remember your name. The bed was surprisingly comfortable.
"Perfect spot to stay in South Seattle"
I was expecting very little considering the cost and location of this place. I was completely wrong in my pre-judging. The staff was very pleasant, the rooms were small-ish yet very clean, the bed was massive, the water pressure in the shower was great. For the cost, it was worth every penny. One thing to note, food delivery is a pain here as you […] are basically in an industrial district. But you can easily walk to some great sit down dining less than a half mile away or drive a mile or two to 4th ave s and there is fast food. Pizza delivery just isn't really an option. None that I could find at least. Read more
"great location"
great location-especially if you have a car!! very easy to get down town!! good for a shopping weekend!! manager was excellent-upgraded our room and gave us great tips on where to eat!!
"Convenient."
Hotel check in was smooth and casual, just as I like it. They even let me take a VIP spot with my Harley so I could see it from the room. Room was clean, a particularly picky date couldn't even find a stray hair in the bathroom, and maintenance seemed fine to me. Bed and pillows were OK, but not great. But that is very subjective, I am particular, and […] it was still comfortable. Otherwise, the room was comfortable, and a quick jaunt to town. They also allowed a late check out in the morning, a very friendly gesture. Read more
"Close to Seward Park Wedding"
I was happy to find a place closer than down town to stay in. liked the price but bed felt like a water bed on springs not comfortable at all. we were also i believe missing our top comforter?

"Good Hotel"
My boyfriend and I (age 22) stayed here and the service was great. Anything we needed was brough to us right away. The rooms were clean and the hotel was a little older but well maintained. The hotel was right across from a convience store and close to the 5 with made it great to get around. The free breakfast was lovely to. They also had video security […] for parking which was reassuring. Read more
"O.K. if needing to go on the cheap"
This was NOT in walking distance to Safeco or any other attractions. It is in a rough industrial section. The rooms were older but clean and neat. I thought the maids were friendlier and more helpful than the morning front desk staff. During the summer and on game nights all the closer hotels are extremely overpriced. This hotel works o.k. if you are […] one of those people who just don’t want to get ripped off by staying closer to town. We drove to down town and paid 15 dollars for parking. The breakfast is the usual Costco muffins cut into four pieces. The woman at the front desk was very thrifty with the coffee and did not want to make more because it was close to the 9 a.m. shut down time for breakfast. They had cereal with fat free milk (why not go low fat for the same price???) There were a few details that could have really helped spruce this up but I would stay again only because I don’t have the money to be closer to town. Fair for the price. Read more
