      The Platjador was wonderful and the staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The rates were very reasonable and the breakfast was terrific. I would definitely stay here again.

      The Alenti's location couldn't be more central, just one block from the beach on a buzzing bustling side street known for its bars and eateries. The hotel defines minimalist chic: perhaps a tad too starkly Starck-ish in design yet comfortable nonetheless. Rooms are smallish but well-appointed with such necessities as Wi-Fi and laptop safes. Despite the primo location, street noise is fairly minimal. Staffers' English (well, my Spanish) could be slightly better, but they're friendly and willing to help with recommendations. Lack of parking is a drawbck, though there's a small public lot one block away.

      We stayed here in September 2012 for 4 days - our first stop on our first trip to Spain. We took a bus from the airport when we arrived which took about 45 minutes or so. When we left, we took the train to Barcelona so its easy to get there and back. The location of the hotel was perfect. After reading the other reviews I spent the extra money and got a room on a high floor with a balcony and a view of the ocean and it was worth it. The rooms were small so the balcony was great to have. It did have plenty of closet space. The hotel was very clean and quiet when we were there. We paid for the breakfast and that was glad we did - there was plenty to eat, nothing spectacular but lots of choices. The hotel had bicycles to rent so we did that one day which was lots of fun. And the ocean was warm and the beaches clean. We would definitely stay here again.

      excellent location if traveling by train! btw, a great Italian restaurant a few doors down. staff was friendly and helpful.
