Delightful hotel in wonderful location. We paid for a car to pick us up from the airport and take us directly to the hotel, this is essential if you are in your 70's. We love using the local ferries which were very efficient the little villages are lovely to visit. The gardens were superb, we had lovely weather, but it does rain rather heavily when it rains, therefore the lovely gardens!!!! It lived up to my expectation. Dress code very casual. Informal cafe very good . Mistral expensive but very special attention and interesting food. Dancing in the lounge if you are brave enough, gentle music every evening.

hotel staff lovely. breakfast very good value, plenty of food, although room itself was very small. Hotel near enough to walk to all the main shopping areas and sight seeing, room itself was very dark with no natural light but on the ground floor which was very convenient and would rather have a dark, clean room than a dirty bright one?

The Hotel was extremely comfortable and lived up to its'castle' roots but the restaurant was almost empty, so no atmosphere and the food was poor and expensive. Stay in the hotel but eat in the village.
