      Wonderful stay at a top notch hotel. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Pool empty, so the kids enjoyed swims while we soaked in the hot tub. Outstanding breakfast buffet. And if you have any significant down time in the hotel, the extra expense to be on the Executive level with access to the Exec Lounge is well worth it!

      Yes, it is a bit of a walk from everything. Basically 20-25 minutes from the train, the bell tower/drum tower, etc but the staff is WONDERFUL! Their English is amazing, super friendly, gave great restaurant abd sightseeing recommendations. I even bought them pastry to say thank you because they were so nice (no other hotel i srayed at in the month i was in chuna was like this not even close). Basically the service is on point!

      We had a fantastic stay at the Shangri La. The bed was extremely comfortable, the lounges were warm and friendly, but the highly is the gym and spa.

      Western breakfast much to be desired, not nearly as good as other hotels in China; choices were limited. Was difficult understanding hotel staff, their English was very poor.

    Ich habe das Hotel aufgrund der guten Lage gebucht. Diese ist auch wirklich sehr gut. Innerhalb von 10 min. kann man problemlos zum Glockenturm laufen. allerdings hätte ich mir von einem "international" Hotel mehr versprochen. An der Rezeption sprach keiner auch nur ansatzweise Englisch, was die Kommunikation sehr schwierig machte. Darüber hinaus war […] das Zimmer nicht sonderlich sauber und das Internet was hier auf Expedia als kostenlos angegeben wird, kostet extra. Alles in allem war ich daher nicht sonderlich zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Aufgrund der guten Lage würde ich es aber wahrscheinlich wieder buchen. Read more
