Hotel was very clean, and personnel helpful. Close to center of town. Needs closet space was only complaint. AC worked well. Hotel quiet.

It's like walking into an oasis after the chaotic streets of Phnom Penh. Greeted by a nice cool garden area and very friendly staff things start off well. We was then given a nice cool drink and wet towel to refresh ourselves whilst the receptionist gave us some tips on Phnom Penh. Then we head to our room ... all i can say is ... wow! I stayed at the Kabiki from the 27-31 of October, and wished I had planned my holiday so I spent more time there. I initially had reservations due to the mixed (online) reviews, but my mother, child and I found it to be a wonderful experience. The room was very spacious, and presented well. The beds were very comfortable and the canopy was a beautiful […] touch. The bathroom may have needed a revamp, but it served it's function. The swimming pool was absolutely glorious, and the baby pool was a perfect depth for my 16 month old to play in. When we weren't exploring the city (many places in walking distance), we were exploring the property. It was a nice walk to be had, particularly for my child. I found the staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They were beautiful, and recommended some very tasty restaurants. I don't understand why previous reviews gave negative feedback about the staff, Cambodians are friendly and very hospitable by nature, there were no flaws in the service we received. The Kabiki was a great stay. Although we only had 2 nights here we would have loved to stay for quite alot longer! The room was great, the bed comfortable, the bathroom was a bit little and needed a little bit of maintenance. The pool area was an oasis. The restaurant was lovely and every meal we had was great. What a lovely place to stay, the staff could do enough to help and we were met with smiles very day. The breakfast was delightful, fresh yoghurt and muesli with a small tray of 3 different types of rolls, and the offer of eggs and then followed by a plate of fruit. This hotel is conveniently placed in walking distance to the major attractions in PP, the Palace, Natnl.Museum. It's v.pretty, lush gardens, great green pool, nice staff, good food & great fruit drinks at bar. Anything you ask for will be looked after where poss. Hyggelig, lite familidrevet hotell. God service. Det var kluss med bestillingen vår - vi hadde reservert et dobbeltrom og ikke et familierom slik vi trodde. Men personalet ordnet opp med ekstrasenger, og ga oss til og med en gratis middag for bryet! Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen und eine kleine Oase in der Stadt. Die Zimmer sind sauber, der Service freundlich und das Restaurant schön neben dem sauberen Pool gelegen. Internet hat sehr gut im Zimmer funktioniert. Kann man bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen.

Close to the Royal Palace etc. Reception very polite and helpful. Hotel is a bit hidden in a narrow street, with restricted access to tuk-tuk and taxis. Environment is very quiet and peaceful. We have had a very relaxing stay in the hotel.

Perfect hotel in a nice surrending. The hotel is located next to the Royal Palace. The restaurants and bars at the riverside are a little bit further away but you can walk it of else take a tuk tuk (1-2 dollar). Great place to stay and really quiet!

Nous sommes restés 3 nuits au Kabiki. Les chambres sont simples mais agréables, propres et calmes. Nous avions une petite terrasse privative au milieu des arbres. Le petit déjeuner est correct mais un tantinet basique. La piscine est assez grande et plaisante. Le staff est adorable et très serviable. Nous voulions rester 2 nuits de plus mais l'hôtel […] était plein. La réceptionniste, après maintes recherches, nous a trouvés un autre hôtel de standard supérieur au Kabiki mais appartenant au même propriétaire, pour le même prix. Très bien situé en centre ville, proche des points d'intérêt touristiques, espace jardin bien arboré avec belle piscine, cet hôtel est apprécié surtout en famille pour ces chambres spacieuses (la notre avec lit double et 2 lits superposés). J'ai consulté sur Internet et j'ai été attirée par le Kabiki. J'ai habité à Phnom-Pehn, la rue voisine et parallèle à celle-ci (la rue barrée,actuellement occupée par les grandes personnalités). Je l'ai choisi par nostalgie et par besoin d'accueillir mes amis, lors de mon voyage au Cambodge, pour 2 semaines (chambre n° 3). En effet, je les ai reçus […] au bord de la piscine et nous sommes sortis en ville. L'endroit est merveilleux et bien protégé. C'est très beau. J'aime les lampes de pétrole dans l'allée vedoyante, les arbres et la piscine bien sûr. Mais la porte de la douche manque de serrure et l'eau a éclaboussé un peu dehors. Il manquait les brosses à dents. Dommage pour ce standing ! J'ai écrit un e-mail en français (depuis la France) et on m'a demandé d'écrire en anglais car tout le monde ne parle pas français, là-bas. J'ai donc rédigé un petit message en anglais pour quelques précisions. Pourriez-vous traduire les messages pour le personnel ? Ce serait plus pratique.Je n'ai pas pu parler avec le directeur de l'hôtel que j'ai croisé, d'ailleurs, dans le salon. On me l'a dit par la suite.
