A very relaxing hotel in a wonderful green setting. Old colonial style rooms are very clean and well appointed.
"Great Place to Stay During Layovers!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 19, 2013
I fly in/out of Nairobi as it is a good connection point for KLM and Kenya Airways, so I usually need an overnight hotel. The Panari is only about 5-6 miles from the airport, so it's a quick and easy taxi ride. The hotel itself is quite clean and comfy and the breakfast is excellent! I especially recommend the omelettes. Since it's close in to the airport, you do not waste a lot of time in transit for layovers and have more time to rest and relax. I was quite happy with the room, the room service, the staff - everything. And the price was reasonable. Would I stay there for a longer tourist visit? No, as it is too far from the center. But for business travel and a layover, it was perfect.
"It was Ok"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 18, 2013
Nothing fancy, but the hotel is adequate and the price is good compared to what else is available in Nairobi. I'd stay there again.

"Our long weekend in Nairobi National Park"
We came to Niarobi on a long weekend to celebrate my wife's 40th Birthday. Time being important to us, we booked Niarobi Tented Camp as it was located within the National Park with a host of amenities and excursions available. Arriving in the morning we were greeted by Kelvin, the site manager who was extremely welcoming and discussed the requirements […] of our stay. The camp was extremely well maintained and organised, all the staff were very helpful and friendly. The tents are very spacious and furnished to a high standard, complete with large cumfy beds, wash basin, shower and toilet. Your every need is catered for, including your safety, after all we were in the middle of a National Park! During our stay we went on game walks and drives, including a Safari Package which included a bush breakfast, sundowner and an amazing night game drive. On the game drives we were accompanied by Gerrard, a Masai guide employed by the Tented Camp, who knew Nairobi National Park and wildlife like the back of his hand. We saw Girraffe, white & black Rhyno, Zebra, Impala, Buffallo, Gazzel, Ostrich, Lions, Jackals, white tailed mongoose, Whart Hogs plus 100's of birds. We stayed on a Full Board basis and the food was fantastic, you would have thought you were in a 5 star hotel restaurant, Henry the Waiter couldn't do enough for us. We had a fantastic time, and would recomend it to anyone. 5 star facility an 5 star staff - Thank you for making our stay an unforgetable experience! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
