My wife/I spent 3 nights at the Aetas Residence in Bangkok at the end of our 3 week trip through Thailand/Cambodia. It was hands-down the nicest hotel we stayed at with an excellent breakfast buffet/gym/pool all conveniently located on the 3rd floor. Centrally located and easy 5 minute walk to the BTS skytrain station. Our room was spacious/luxurious with tons of room, an awesome shower and extremely comfortable king-size bed! I will recommend my friends/family stay at the Aetas whenever in Bangkok and I will definitely be staying there again!

I stayed for 2 nights, the size of the room is average but good enough, very comfortable bed and everything is clean. The sleepers is not brand new but used and I wonder why..... Breakfast was really good, lots of choices and taste good!! the location is not bad, 10 mins walk to the bts station or hotel shuttle can take you there. Overall it's a good choice.
"Fantastic location and good quality for money"
Very good location being very close to the main "action" area and perfectly quite close to fantastic restaurant and massage center. You can go to the old city with the taxi in 30min maximum (at leadtime during our stay)
"Home in Bangkok"

I have been staying with my wife at the Aetas residence for the past 3 years spending an average of 3 months at the time. We really feel at home, the room and the bathroom are very comfortable and clean. The kitchenette is well equipped with new kitchenware and the fridge is full size. The staff is very friendly and always try to let you feel at home. There is little if not any turnover and this goes to the credit of management. The pool is great! They also have a SPA clean and affordable and a Gym. The location is perfect as you can walk to many attractions nearby. Most of the apartments have unobstructed view;
"Amazing but staff needs improvements"

This place is amazing and nothing can be said about the rooms, cleaniness and overall quality of service. I'm only giving 4, though, because the staff at the reception can barely speak any english. I've been there 3 days and all of them had troubles even for giving me basic indications or suggestions. This clashes a lot with the rest of the quality of this place.

I have mixed reviews about this hotel. Contacted the hotel the day before arriving to inform them of a 1:30pm arrival. Arrived at the hotel at 2pm and the room was not ready. It was ready at around 3pm. Was provided a complimentry drink while the room was prepared. Room was clean apart from a bottle top left on top of the fridge. I stayed in two studio rooms in the 4 night stay at this hotel (2 nights in each studio room), and in both the rooms I found the matress very hard. Had an issue with the air-con in room A806 (I think it was), contacted reception immediately, but was told there was no availability, so continued to stay in A806. Contacted reception on the third day and was told the same - no availability, but I checked hotel booking websites and saw that there was availabity plenty for the same day at the same hotel. called Reception and told them the good/bad news. They checked again, and miraculously, room A618 was available. I moved to A618, air-con noise is much less. In A806 there was a rattling noise. This one no rattle with A618. Just a minor issue with the power sockets on the working desk, both worn-out by extensive use. Had to use one of the sockets by the bed to make-do. some issues with wi-fi. Generally okay, but a couple of times it went down. Also, the way the wifi is configured is somewhat bazarre. Sometimes asking for username/password repeatedly. There is a electric switch for "please tidy my room" in the room and the equivalent for when you are busy. Although, housekeeping seem to want to tidy your room even when you dont want them to. They called on numerous occasions when I had it set to "no need to tidy the room". (as it was already done the day before) Breakfast is excellent in terms of the spread. Although can get quite busy. Had to repeat the room number a few times to a member of staff though. Very impressed with the daily newspaper delivered to the room. its actually put in a small red bag and left on your door handle. Studio rooms comes with microwave, large fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and all the manuals for operating them. Taxi's can be booked through reception and there is not much of a wait. The conceierge's ware efficient when I used the luggage storage service on check-out.

The room is very clean and complete with appliances from ref to oven...I love the king size bed and the sheets and pillows. I love that just across the hotel are lots of massage and spas salon. Price is also very practical and economical. Service staff and crews are also very courteous and helpful.

Second time at the AETAS residence, and great service as with the first time round. The beds are exceedingly comfortable, and the rooms have all the amenities required. Good selection of toiletries in the bathroom. The staff is friendly, efficient and helpful.
"Nice but wouldn't stay again"

We stayed for a few nights. We were happy with the room and the hotel in general. It was pretty average for a 4*. The rooms got cleaned late in the day 4pm so when we came back from a long morning/afternoon, we couldn't shower as it was being cleaned. Not a massive inconvenience but I'd probably expect better execution. Breakfast staff and breakfast was good. Lots of variety. Everything was nice, just average. Wasn't good enough to not try somewhere else in the future. Also when we checked out we did feel a bit snubbed. Almost because we had backpacks.... Like we weren't as important as those with suits and roller wheel cases. Just because we have backpacks doesn't mean we can't afford to stay in good hotels, they are just easier to carry!
"Comfy beds, spacious rooms, good breakfast!"

Stayed five days in November. I originally booked the room in Aetas Bangkok hotel which is a sister hotel next door but when arrived I was told it's full and was given two bedroom accommodation here. I was impressed by high quality of the property - beds were excellent, 5-6 pillows to choose from, full size fridge, washing machine, iron, toaster, kettle, etc. Three tvs,dvd players, air-conditioners, two sofas. The only reason why I gave a 4 star is a liftlocation. The hotel situated in the business district and little too far from many tourist hot-spots, shopping and entertainment places. Taxis are cheap but Bangkok is very congested city so we lost our time in the traffic. Overall I would strongly recommend this hotel if you stay one week or more. For any short-term stay I would rather book more centrally located place.
