Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Check in was very efficient, staffs were polite, location is very close to convenience store (7-11) and TOPS supermarket (like wall-mart)l, near BTS Ploenchit station. Inside the room, there is washing machine and it helps me safe my laundry cost(make this hotel value for money). Swimming pool just alright, nothing extra ordinary. I recommend this residence.
"Good service apartment"
This is a good service apartment with all that you would need in a short term work assignment. As office is within walking distance, this apartment is perfect for the cost conscious company. The studio room is of a good size (not too big and not too small) and each room tastefully decorated and has a balcony overseeing the pool or one side of the Bangkok city. Once, they decided to fix the pipe of the room below mine (without warning) and gave me a headache, especially I was trying to rest after a late night. The breakfast is sumptuous but there is a progressive drop in the range and quality of food over the 6 months I was staying there. However, the staff in the cafe is particular sweet and always try to remember the habit of the customers.

Hotel is nice. Match with the price. But it's located quite far from the attraction places in BKK. I wouldn't come to this hotel on personal trip. Maybe because it's pricy. The hotel staffs are nice and polite. Breakfast is good too. Many choice. Overall i rate 5/10.
"Good Accomdation with very Courteous Staff"

Its a great place to stay in Bangkok. Very courteous and caring staff - made us feel completely at home and taken care of. Always smiling and always willing to help you when you need. Good rooms & great pool area for relaxation. Kids room was a respite & delight for my little girl. Gym is nice too. And breakfast is also really great - lots of variety everyday. I loved every bit of my stay of 3 weeks. Well placed to the Ploenchit BRT. Very close to Conrad, where there was this grocery store called Tops (Its got a wonderful food court too!!!). Seven eleven on both sides of Aetas, so you'll get what you need no matter which side you go to! Lumpini Park in close proximity, I guess I want to go back to them again whenever I'm in Bangkok!
"Top business accommodation"

I stayed at the Aetas Residence in Bangkok on Ruam Rudi Rd for the first time during a recent business trip. The place is spotless, spacious and perfectly designed for people on a business trip (free wifi etc), as well as holidays. It beats any hotel room as it has a kitchenette, very well equiped. The is a very nice pool, gym ansd sauna on the 3rd floor, and of course as always in Thailand, the service is top. Even though it is in the busy business centre, it is very quiet. I will definately return there, on business as well as pleasure as the rates are very reasonable for the qualityof accommodation and service you receive.
"Reasonable cost benefit"

A bit far from the train station, although there is a regular shuttle tuk tuk until 9 pm. Have a good supermarket nearby, but not good restaurants. The washing machine is useful on longer stays. Great breakfast.
"Nice hotel, service needs improving."

Good location, nice size rooms which are well looked after. Also has a good sized gym. The service. Well as we pulled up at the front in a taxi we were greeted buy a member of staff. When I say greeted I mean blocked in the taxi until he could verify we were staying at the hotel! Which was rather rude I may have looked a little worst for wear as I had just travelled for 16 hours. I noticed they didn't seem to do this to other arriving guests. Also I asked about shopping centres and was given directions to MBK I also asked about the Siam centre, to which I was advised I wouldn't want to go there as they only sell branded cloths which were expensive! I was told this whilst standing there dressed in designer clothes with a Designer bag. This left me a little taken aback. Having stayed in a few 5 star hotels this was the worst service I had incurred. I felt I was looked down upon maybe because a have a tattoo sleeve. I won't be returning.
"A wonderful proptety in a difficult city"

We stayed at Aetas Residence in a one bedroom apartment in January 2014. We stayed 3 nights, but we could have easily stayed longer. This property is beautiful! Daily linen change; Fresh orchids and fresh fruit and flowers in the apartment; Wonderful housekeeping; Great bed, kitchen, bathroom, living and dining rooms; Complimentary newspaper daily; Helpful Concierge; Well priced; 7-11 nearby; Railway nearby; Restaurants and bars nearby; And the breakfast (included) is wonderful! What a pity that this magnificent property is located in such a grotty city. The pollution is unbelievable, but then again, we live in rural Australia and we are not at all used to an polluted environment such as Bangkok - but of course that is entirely another story. In summary, the apartments at Aetas Residence are a real find without exaggeration. Recommended.
"Luxury but the service can be improved"

I had a chance to stay in the serviced apartment for 5 month. I stayed in 2 bedroom apartment fully furnished. The good: quiet, fully equipped with furniture, fast speed broadband, love the swimming pool. Friendly staff always greeted with smile day or night. Free tuk tuk service to bts station. Close to top supermarket in all seasons place. The cleaner clean the room daily. Some staff are very helpful. The not so good: The room I was in always had problem with leaking aircon. Sometimes in the hall, sometimes in the bedroom. Both bedroom had leaking water from aircon. The staff fix the problem straight away but it came back at least 3 to 4 times during my stay. The dryer can't dry your clothes, I always had too hang it overnight. The cleaner sometimes doesn't refill the tea or sugar. And the cleaner doesn't change the bed sheet on my baby's cot unless I asked them to.
"Definitely not 5*"

Just spent 3 months there in a studio. My likes are location, balcony, adequate kitchen and washer/dryer, walk-in shower, very quiet I did not like: It took almost one month and 4 complaints to get hot water problem (I could not have a hot shower )for the shower resolved. No apology, never mind compensation offered. Concierge staff has access to the room to deliver a letter which fits under the door, very noisy airconditioners on the balconies. Plus the aircons are in dire need of cleaning, hygiene issue! They quote a monthly rate but for them every month has 30 days, i.e. you loose a day every other month. Often there is nowhere to sit at the pool because El Al crew which stays in the next door hotel is allowed to use the residence pool. In a 5* establishment you should have the choice of newspaper. Not Aetas unless you are Japanese/Chinese. Overall, Aetas residence is fine for a few days. Longterm?
