I've stayed at other Rotana hotels/apartment hotels and this one is the best! Gorgeous, big room with a fantastic view (21st floor). The hotel itself is really central - the Burjuman mall is in the same complex and it's right by the metro, close to the Creek etc. Staff were exceptionally helpful. Also, it's part of the Fitness First gym chain so if you like to workout/exercise this is the place! Lots of classes (yoga, spin etc.) plus cardio/usual gym equipment and a beautiful pool. Will definitely be back!

Forget about the shuttle-take a taxi, less than $10. Main restaurant served buffet for all meals; usually half American and half-Arabian. 5 minute walk to Metro which takes you everywhere you need to go and is simple to navigate. Good Italian restaurant (Cerano) 2 blocks away (make a right exiting from hotel) NO ALCOHOL SERVED ANYWHERE I WENT

The hotel is about 20-25 minutes from the airport so except the taxi fare to be about 75 AED. After arriving was greeted by a member of the staff that... helped take baggage from the taxi inside. The waiting area is small but quite cozy. The room was very very nice I didn't expect it to be so I was pleasantly surprised only because I have gone to other places in the regions and the rooms are sometimes hit or miss. The location was in walking distance of the Emirates Mall and the Metro station. Which is a great way to get around Dubai. I will stay here again. by a Hotels.com guest on 02/22/12

For the price...THE BEST there is!! Room came with Dinner area, Living Room, Kitchen, 2 bathrooms, washing/dryer machine, Free Internet, and more! Staff was extremely friendly and efficient. Located very close to the Mall of the Emirates, approx 5 minutes walking time. I will definetly stay there again!!
