Enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Room was comfortable and clean.Coffee at breakfast was very good. The eggs and sauage not very good. Waffles were tasty. 10 minutes to downtown which worked out very well.

Shuttle to airport and ability to park car for stay was a big plus in choosing this hotel next to Interstate. But what really stood out was the polite, positive interaction and assistance from front desk and shuttle driver ( on 2/19). They went out of their way to assist me in making my connection without hassles and could not have been more courteous.

Situated in Greenville, VanWinkle Inn is in the mountains and regional attractions include Zoom Flume and Bronck Museum.

"Did not meet expectations"
I was expecting a quiet and friendly establishment. Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding about time of breakfast- seems you need to let the owners know in advance if you want it at 8am and the Turner suite overlooks the road, so there was local traffic noise early in the morning. "Layout of the Room"
The Van Winkle Inn was a very nice B&B. Check in was a breeze and we had a very enjoyable stay. However, the layout of the room left a lot to be desired. The bed was pushed up against a locked door with another bed on the other side. Unfortunately, we could hear every time the person next door made any movement whatsoever. The person in the other room […] was quiet and we didn't have any problems with them, but it's hard to have a romantic weekend getaway when you know there is someone inches away from you, who can hear your every move. "Warm and friendly B&B"
We were thoroughly pleased with our stay at the Van Winkle Inn. Bert and Holly were warm and friendly, and the breakfasts were beautiful and delicious! The room was clean and comfortable. There is an antique store on the premises, which we unfortunately didn't have time to visit. The only problem we had was that Google maps did not recognize the house […] number, so we were unsure in the dark which way to turn on route 405. For anyone else who has this problem, they are located on route 405, west of route 32, just past Creamery Rd. All in all, a wonderful stay. I would definitely make a return visit! "Great B&B nestled in the Catskills; many amenities"
Great find in the Catskills. Holly and Bert were very welcoming and provided a very nice stay while in the area. Love the feel of the place - the antiques are cozy as opposed to stuffy in some inns. Wasn't sure what to make of an "alpaca-stuffed pillow", it was great! And the bed had a superb mattress as well - the hosts said they were Serta. Breakfast […] was excellent which we enjoyed on the front porch on a beautiful Saturday morning. Only thing I'd change in the room is to put a door on the bathroom. It is obvious they have made Van Winkle a personal adventure. The detail they have put into creating a home for all is fantastic. The rooms are very comfortable and the food is great. "Disappointed in Van Winkle"
We arrived around 7pm and instead of being greeted by the owners we had an envelope with printed instuctions about our room. Apparently the owners do not live on the premises. We had to phone a restaurant to see where they were located. Upon returning to the inn later in the evening we could not see to punch in the code because the porch light was out […] luckily another guest let us in. We think this inn is way overpriced for the sparton facilities offered. The tv was too small. Why can't they put a curtain over the bathroom door?
