The Bockenheim neighborhood is cool and trendy with loads of shops and highly rated restaurants. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the nearest tram or subway station ... a very quiet and peaceful location. The facilities are old, but well-maintained. My room had modern bath fixtures, a safe, and working a/c heating, windows, blinds. The staff was attentive, upbeat, and helpful. I'm going to stay at Hotel Imperial Novum Frankfurt Messe am Palmengartenagain in the future.

Nice hotel except no AC in the room they rented to me. For some reason the room stayed about 20 degrees warmer than the outside air... and the the Male Front Desk staff member couldnt care less. The Hotel on the first floor is poorly designed in that the windows,which are floor to ceiling, if opened left absolutely no privacy, no security and had almost […] no affect on the room. Furthermore it faced a parking lot with the bumpers of parked cars inches from your window...totally bizarre design. I will never stay in an Achat anywhere if I can help it. Didnt sleep a wink. I found it humorous in the morning when I checked out that the front desk had a cheap plastic fan to help cool off the staff... Hey Achat, What about the guests roasting in the rooms? ...
