The Corus was a good value for the money - especially after walking into some of the other private hotels in the area....the room was clean and spacious by European standards. The towels were a little worn as was the carpet and the upholstered furniture - but the bed had crisp linens and the bath was very clean. With little time spent in the room, I would consider staying there again for the price.

Situated in Windsor, The Winning Post is close to Bird Hills Golf Centre, Legoland, and Ascot Racecourse. Also nearby is Royal Ascot Racecourse.

This is a lovely, charming old inn. Don't let the exterior fool you, it so welcoming once you get inside. It is like a B&B, cozy and warm. Each room comes with its own quaint table and chairs. "A peaceful break"
If you like a quiet picturesque country cottage this is for you. The room was very comfortable and views to the garden were private and very nice. A bit difficult to find without a sat nav and a car would be needed. restaurant was good but not cheap. Downside:- blinds in the room were broken and difficult to work. "Hard to Find"
The hotel was acceptable but they changed their name some time ago and failed to update their website or their reservation partners. This made the hotel impossible to find, as addresses are rare. With the wrong name we wasted a lot of time and nerves looking for it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good Value Hotel"
Used this hotel as a springboard to collect relative from Heathrow and then commute to London from Slough – good value hotel , friendly and helpful staff. "Poor Reception Staff"
I was travelling on business, having stayed in the area over the last few weeks, the hotel I usually use was fully booked on this night. I was travelling with a colleague and was met by someone from Reception with 'your one of the two!'. The rooms were heated well, well appointed, very charming with a cottage feel. Breakfast was laid out for 2 (one […] of the cereal bowls was dirty) - I sussed out how to acess the free WI FI myself. The meal in the restaurant that evening was OK nothing special. Went back to my room (room 3) with my colleague at 10 pm, lots of loud voices and loud TV from the internonnecting room. My colleague left at 10.30, I went to sleep at 11 pm, still noise coming from the TV next door, at 11.10 pm I tapped on the door and asked them to turn it down, SILENCE thankfully! Next morning, went for my shower only to find the window next to the shower was broken, but in the OPEN position, which resulted in a very cold and not very private shower. Had I known this the day before I would have asked to move as this is a security risk, female staying on my own in ground floor room. I also shared the bathroom with 5 spiders! The CHECK OUT was VERY, VERY poor - different Receptionist who obviously DID NOT enjoy her job! she was unfriendly, did not smile, say thank you or asked us if we enjoyed our stay. I commented on it to her when I was leaving - CUSTOMER CARE is very important to me! If they improved on customer care and fixed small maintenance issues this would be a great place to stay. My colleague and I would not stay again, we regularly travel to Maidenhead on business, normally in the big chains, same cost but much better value for money. "Quiet,secluded and a really good place to stay and"
My wife and I were visiting Windsor. This Hotel is approx.4-5 miles from the centre,depending on which way you approach the hotel.Whichever way you go you will have a great stay,staff are very friendly and helpfull,rooms are very clean and spacious and the the food is to die for.Can't fault it !!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
