In common with most small family hotels that are converted houses, the accommodations where somewhat compact, the shower cubicle in particular, but everything I needed was provded and worked well. The breakfast was fantastic and much better than I expected from this price range. However the most impressive aspect of my stay was the people who run the hotel. Steve, Karen and their family were absolute stars, who could not have made me more welcome. The next time I visit Blackpool the Marsden will be my top choice for friendly service and value for money.

The stay at The Sandalwood was a pleasant surprise, and I am sure to visit again. It was close enough to the Blackpool town centre and a pleasant walk along the water. Margaret and Pete were very attentive to our few needs and the breakfast was cooked to order. No complaints at all.

Fabulous host, helpful and informative. Hotel clean, and tastefully decorated, room comfortable and clean. Breakfast was tasty and top class. Close to Pleasure beach and Sandcastle without the noise if you have an early night. If ever going to Blackpool again this is first on the list for accommodation. :)

Fantastic little place, a stone's throw from The Pleasure Beach but still quiet enough to sleep at night. We stayed in the apartment with 2 rooms and a lounge/kitchen area. There were complimentary drinks in the fridge in the room, these were replenished on the second day. Clean towels were provided every day if required. We loved it! Our two-bedroom apartment was on the top floor with views of the sea. It had everything we could want, plus extras that we did not expect - fluffy towels and complimentary cold drinks in the fridge. Breakfast was piping hot and delicious; we chose to eat in the dining room but had the option of it being delivered to our room. Being so close […] to Pleasure Beach we expected some noise, but the Aparthotel was extremely quiet. Had a great stay with jo and mick,they couldn,t do enough for you.Recommend the cooked breakfast,piping hot and well cooked.Hotel was perfect for sandcastle and pleasure beach.Cant fault this hotel at all and would,nt hesitate to go back.
