We arrived late and hoped to have a quiet peaceful stay. Unfortunately workmen arrived and starting hammering and drilling in 3 rooms close to ours at 8am.

The location of the hotel is great and our room was perfect. We had a room with a sea view and a terrace. The hotel is located in the outskirts of the city right on the beach. It's the best location in Palma, as in the center of the city there is no beach, only port. There was plenty of free parking right near the hotel (because it was winter and not a peak season). The only disadvantage was room service. We stayed in the hotel from December 27 until January 2. And starting December 31 the room service worsened. We ordered dinner to our room and they forgot to bring french fries. We called them, they said they would send someone to our room, but nobody came. The two consecutive days when we ordered something they also constantly forgot to bring some staff - french fries, bread etc. The tipping point was on the last day, when we were checking out. When we ordered room service we paid for everything right away, so upon check out we were surprised to see one of our dinners included in the bill. The receptionist told us that the waiter who served us wasn't there, so they couldn't check this. At the end they removed that charge from our bill and said they'll check it with the waiter. All in all, I'd give this hotel 4*. I would definitely come here again. The advice - improve room service.

lovely hotel, polite and helpful staff, fantastic location. felt like dropping back in time. only thing we would have wished for - directions to the hotel on the web site! We got lost several times getting there. You get to Plaza Mayor and park in the underground garage there, then walk 3 short blocks through an awesome area. Do NOT attempt to drive to the hotel, it cannot be done. This is the fault of GoogleMaps, which thinks it can do anything.

I read lots of reviews about this hotel, which were quite mixed, and so went with an open mind. As it was late October I expected the surrounding area... to be quiet, and it was, so we were not disturbed by the partygoers you would get during high season. Our room was a one bedroom apartment to sleep 4 persons. There were 3 adults in our room so it was quite comfortable and spacious. I would have preferred a room facing the pool, as it meant the balcony had the sun all day long whereas we were in the shade all day. The staff were friendly, pleasant and helpful at all times. Some areas require updating but I have stayed in worse places and paid more money for them! We ate in the restaurant one evening and for €15 for 3 courses including a drink you can't go wrong although I wouldn't want to eat there every evening. I liked the idea that there were books to read and board games to play, provided by the hotel, in the reception/lounge area although we did not make use of this. Drinks at the bar were reasonably priced and of a good measure. I would like to see the rear entrance have a security gate fitted and whilst I could see evidence of work going on I was not sure if this was the plan. The handrail on the stairs needs replacing here as do a couple of the tiles All in all a good place to stay but I would avoid it during high season unless you are going for the night life by jai245 from Surrey on 11/03/12

Mostly college aged guest VERY loud and rude. Stayed 3 nights and the room was never cleaned. I don't expect the building and facilities to be new, but I do expect it to be clean and maintained. There were even some safety issues.

Just got back from the Vista Sol and had to write this review straight away. Myself and 2 other girls had the apartment for 4 and our two other friends had one for 2. Could not fault the hotel, the location, or the amenities! Their room on 5th floor was nicer than ours in terms of decoration, LCD TV and just generally a bit more modern but both rooms […] served their purpose. Apartments have a well equipped kitchen area, clean bathrooms and comfy beds. We were there for 4 nights and the room was cleaned 3 times which was nice to see. There is a lively pool area, with plenty of sunbeds, a DJ that played some great music during the day alongside a pool bar that served some strong cocktails. Great location – right on the strip (go to the pool area, down some steps and you come right out by Revolution on the strip). What I will add, is that although it’s set in a great location, it’s not too loud to keep you awake at night, even those that come back late at night don’t tend to disturb you. Will definitely stop here when I go to Magaluf again – don’t listen to the complaints/bad reviews – some people will pick fault with anything and everything. Its Magaluf – pay more and you’ll get more. Simple. Read more

Three of us, all 40 year old women stayed here for 2 nights on a birthday weekend away. The other reviews I think are a little harsh as I dont think the hotel is as bad as it is made out to be! The entrance was lovely, bright and airy, comfy sofas and chairs. Swift check-in from friendly staff. Room was on the fifth floor, overlooking the busy bungee […] rocket thing. Clean apartment. Kitchen with 2 rings, microwave and fridge which was perfectly adequate. Nice hot shower, bath, bidet, toilet and sink. Did not try the food so cannot comment. Drinks were priced the same as everywhere else so wasnt over priced. Lovely pool..bit chilly. Enough sun loungers for everyone. The walk up the hill is a bit of a killer, but the hotel was nicely out of the way so as not to have all the noise from the strip. The noise mainly came from the hotel opposite which could be a tad loud! All in all a nice set of apartments, but I dont think I would like to stay here in high season-might just be a bit too noisy for me! Read more

Всё замечательно, за низкую цену - качество отличнейшее.. Находится на горке - так что с колясками чуть сложновато.. Зато всё это с лихвой компенсируется внутренним бассейном с банями - в межсезонье просто супер.

Vi er meget tilfredse med vores ophold på Vistasol Hotel Aptos & Spa.Havde inden opholdet læst en hel del dårlige anmeldelser om flere forskellige ting på hotellet.Vi fandt INTET at klage over. Vi boede i en skøn 2 værelses lejlighed på 6. etage med en hav - og strandudsigt som var ved " at tage livet fra os " og er ikke på nogen måde i tvivl om hvor […] vi skal bo ved næste ophold i Magaluf. Møblementet og andet tilbehør var i top og den indvendige vedligeholdelse kan der ikke sættes en finger på.Den perfekte lejlighed matchede samtidig hotellets høje standard og personalet var meget venlige og særdeles hjælpsomme i alle situasioner ( hvis der skulle opstå sådanne ). Det gjorde det ikke. Skal der alligevel gnides lidt strøsalt i såret er de sidste 30 meters gåtur fra bybesøg en smule stejl, hvilket hotellet ikke kan klandres for. Er man lidt dårlig til bens ( eller en smule ugidelig ) koster en taxi fra byen 24 kr .!!!!! Read more

Im Herbst ist es gut weil man den Innenpool nutzen kann. Apartment ist komfortabel. Hauptsächlich skandinavische Gäste. War als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in der südlichen Tramuntana gut geeignet

- Stark mögellukt i badrum som spred sig genom lägenheten när dörren var öppen. Dåliga sängar (hotellet har endast små enkelsängar). Städning endast 3ggr/vecka. Byter inte ut tvål/schampo så det får man köpa själv. Varmvattnet tog slut flera gånger under veckan. Hiss trasig. Bastu/bubbelpol avstängd. Dyr internetanslutning. Har bott på Vista sol för många år sen och tyckte nu att det var ganska slitet och i behov av renovering. Ta bort en stjärna direkt. Dessutom stämde inte texten i vårt bokningsbesked.....Det stod att vi hade utsikt över havet och poolen men det stämde inte när vi kom ner. Det stod också att man kunde få fritt wifi mot avgift. nous l'avons pratiqué en avril donc hors grosses vagues de touristes donc tout est relatif et je pense que l'été ça doit être fort peuplé. Quartier très british, des pub des pub des pub. Mer à 100m. Appartement assez spacieux pour être signalé. Rapport qualité prix en avril très bon.

Bra läge under lågsäsong men inget för en barnfamilj i högsäsong. Nära till två fina sandstränder.( Mycket barer i området med hög ljudvolym.) Beskrivningen stämmer ej helt då man får betala för parkering,spa o jazzuzi. Fanns endast 1 restaurang på hotellet (stod 2) men det var OK för det fanns massor i närheten. Om det framgått att hotellet ligger precis på gränsen mellan PalmaNova och Magaluf så hade vi ALDRIG bokat det här hotellet! Hotellets ingång är i PalmaNova men de flesta av rummen vetter mot stranden, och utelivet, i Magaluf. PalmaNova eller Magaluf spelar på den här delen av kartan ingen som helst roll. Hotellet har sannerligen sett sina bättre […] dagar. Det är slitet och fuskrenoverat. Rummen är så lyhörda att man hör vad grannen bredvid pratar om. Man hör när de går på toaletten. Ett städat yttre avslöjar, när man lyfter på täcken och flyttar på möbler en smula, att hotellet inte är välstadat och fräscht. Köket luktade ingrott matos och när man torkade av bänken med en bit hushållspapper blev pappret brungrått av skit. För att inte tala om hur det såg ut när man drog med pappret mot skarvarna kring diskhon. Man förväntade sig att se en stor, fet kackerlcka springa över golvet vilken sekund som helst! Hotellet erbjöd inget diskmedel på rummet - hur diskar gästerna? Man kan bara anta att inga köksprylar har blivit ordentligt diskade på länge. Om nätterna var det omöjligt att sova. Även om den höga musiken från uteställena i Magaluf och skränet från polen avtog vid midnatt, så fortsatte skränet i grannrummen på hotellet. De andra gästerna kunde lika gärna ha varit i samma rum som oss. Det här är ett hotell för 20-åringar som vill åka till Mallorca för festa hela nätterna och sen ligga vid poolen under dagarna och kurera bakfyllan till nästa natts äventyr. Vi rekommenderar INGEN annan att boka det här hotellet. Den som vill ha valfriheten att sova/festa om nätterna gör bäst i att boka ett hotell längre bort i PalmaNova. Read more

Att man som boende i en turistort skall utsättas för prostituerade som endast har en uppgift: att råna en på vägen hem till hotellet får väl ändå betraktas som oacceptabelt, eller hur? Att komma hem sent till Vistasol, i en brant backe där man lätt blir infångad av allehanda skumrask, är faktiskt en fara. Flera i mitt ressällskap blev av med plånböcker […] bara genom att stanna upp en stund. Talade med polisen om detta och de kände till problemet men inte gjort något åt det. Istället påpekade man för mig att "minsann i Stockholm har vi samma problem". Diskussionen blev snabbt avslutad med denna inställning. Bedrövligt! Att jaga kackerlackor tillhör väl vanligheterna i Spanien? Men att ha dem på sitt eget rum i storleksordningen 1 dm är väl något man vill slippa. År 2011 menar jag. Dock skall städpersonalen som jagade ihjäl dem med sprayburkar ha en eloge för snabbt ingripande! Skall dock sägas att även de uppträdde skrämt och uppjagat. Så det kanske inte är så vanligt numera?
