The location is right across the street from "Bed" The supperclub, next to Angel City Diner and is an ideal location to Sukhumvit transportation. The second we walked in the service was amazing!! Rooms were great too! Free wifi, hot showers, AC and comfy beds! Location is great on a really fun street with lots of food vendors & lively atmosphere. It is within a few minute walking distance to the Skytrain station, Nana. Comfortable in most of senses. Well me and my mate picked this hotel as it is part of the W hotel group, well known around the world for its modern and chic design. We were not disappointed! Check-in and Check-out was fast and smooth, the rooms were very funky and the decor of the hotel in general was class all round. So many nice thoughtful touches and high tech options in the room (big LCD TV, USB and other music options, nice coffee machine, and cool lighting) made the experience more enjoyable. Free wifi was fast and well appreciated. Facilities looked really good, although didn't have time to try the pool and gym. The hotel rooms were very well insulated so no noise at all. The location of this hotel is fantastic and is recommended for people looking to be in the heart of the action on Soi 11. Bed Supper Club, Qbar, and the must try resto bar Oskars are steps away, along with street food stalls and host of other restaurants and legit massage shops on the street. There is even a free tuk tuk ride from the hotel to Nana Train Station on Sukhumvit. Taxis are plenty. Overall, a superb hotel experience and I will be returning on my next visit to Bangkok! highly recommended! The Sukhumvit district has changed a lot. Soi 11 where the Aloft is located has transformed since my last stay in 2007. There are boutique hotels everywhere as well as great restaurants. This is a great street and only a few blocks from the Arab section (Between Soi 1 to 5) where you can find many Middle Eastern restaurants and Kababs and the new shopping […] district at BTS Asok station where you can find Terminal 21 mall featuring many great restaurants. The Aloft hotel itself is everything they say it is and by far the best hotel I have stayed at in Bangkok so far. I will most definitely stay here again. The hotel also provides free transport on their own tuk-tuk to either the Nana BTS station or the Westin which is right across Terminal 21 mall. There is a supermarket on the ground floor of the Ambassador Hotel which is across the street of the Aloft and about 100 feet to the right of Au Bon Pan. For really great fresh Thai food, walk over to Soi 5 and hit the restaurant in Foodland Supermarket across from the Amari. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Bangkok, it's open 24/7, and you will not find Thai food this good for this price anywhere without hitting the coupon food courts in any mall. By the way, all the water they use for consumption in this cafe is bottled including the ice so it's ok to drink the water in they serve in the glass. We had a wonderful time.The hotel was lovely and as swanky as we had expected. The bed was very nice and soft but firm and comfortable. The front desk service was immaculate! They provide a tuk tuk service to both the sky train (BTS) and the subway (MRT). It is centrally located, it's near the newly finished, the Terminal 21 mall ( which was fantastic!). […] Guests can call ahead to have the tuk tuk pick them up at the BTS station when they arrive so they do not have to walk down the Soi( street). It's not very far from the BTS station and I personally think it's manageable from the MRT station as well (~ 10-15 minutes walking depends on how fast you can walk and whether you are distracted by the food and clothing stalls) and the street is safe at night. There are always a lot of people around selling food/ beverages all the way to the hotel. but the hotel itself is quiet at night. We stayed on the 20th floor, the hotel also has a nightclub or bar, which I cannot comment on whether it was lively or not. Overall, we were very happy with our choice.
