Although a little difficult to find, this resort is well worth the effort! It has beautiful accomodations in the middle of a vineyard with a stunning view of the Andes right outside your window - what more could you ask for! We booked this place at the last minute and are so happy we did. The rooms was very clean with high quality linens, local bath products and an amazing shower/tub. We bought a bottle of wine and enjoyed it on our back deck and also on the deck at the restaurant. The restaurant has a limited menu, but the food was fresh and the staff extremely accomodating. The pool area is also beautiful and comfortable. Aguamiel is a great place to get out of the bustle of the city and decompress. This was our favorite place to stay on our 2-week trip to South America - we HIGHLY recommend it!

We loved posada borravino!! Choosing a hotel in mendoza was not easy but we are happy we did not choose to stay in mendoza city. The location and charm of posada borravino can't be compared with the bustling city. Walking to the main town took about 20 minutes and another 15 minutes towards the plaza we found some other restaurants as well. Our driver took us to many wineries that were no more than 15-20 minutes away. The service was outstanding from the time we checked in through our entire stay. Denise was a pleasure to deal with and always made sure we were ok and asked if we needed anything. The grounds and facilities are all you need when in Mendoza. Use the Parilla!!! While we had some difficulty at first, we persevered and had a delicious dinner!! Denise set our table and ensured we had everything we needed to make it a success. We had an early flight the day of check out and breakfast was waiting, table set and all- that is good service. Rooms are small but clean and do not feel cramped at all. Would recommend the posada to anyone visiting mendoza!!

Simple rooms you can cook in. Steps away from the expensive hotels at a fraction of the price. You would be hard pressed to find better.

We were apprehensive when we approached this hotel because of the neighborhood but were pleasantly surprised by the grounds, vineyard and staff! None of the hotels in the other cities we visited could live up to our lovely stay at there!
