I was super-happy with this hotel. The staff was warm, friendly, and helpful. The room was very spare and modern, but very comfortable, and it had everything we needed. The fact that there's free wireless and a very nice gym, that are both included in the room price, is amazing. The parking garage was convenient as well. The hotel is very well-located, […] close to churches, shops, and much more. The air conditioning in our room was broken when we arrived, but when I mentioned it to the staff, they immediately got to work on it, and they fixed it quite quickly. The one thing that I was disappointed in initially was that, although the room was called a "two-bedroom suite," it actually was only one room (though a large one) with two beds that, pushed together, formed a queen-size bed. I actually needed two separate beds, ideally in separate rooms, but we ended up doing just fine by pushing one bed to another part of the room. Nonetheless, for what we paid, it was much cheaper than getting two separate rooms at another hotel (especially another hotel of the same quality). So I was super-pleased. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family and will definitely try to stay there the next time I'm in Liège. Read more

Brand new hotel in very contemporary style to the point of slightly stark and cold. Interesting set up with each floor(there are only 5 floors) having some sort of common area such as a gym, outdoor roof patio, library and zen room. Could do with some terrace furniture, they seem to expect you to stand??? Generally friendly staff, front desk staff […] speak good English. Food is great but expensive. Nice underground parking. Liege itself is a bit of a rough area but the location is nice and very convenient for restaurants and shops. I booked this hotel during my trip to the Formula One Grand Prix in Spa-Francorchamps. Liege is about 30 minutes away by car. This hotel is situated in the middle of Liege. The surrounding buildings are equally as tall, so there's no view from the massive windows in your room. There is underground parking and it appears to be very secure, to the extent […] that someone would have a really hard time stealing your car, but anyone can walk into the parking garage from the street. The hotel has numerous security cameras, though, and the rooms use RFID-enabled key cards. Traffic in this part of town gets very busy, and there were lots of people walking around during the day. The occasional drunk could be heard yelling at 2 AM as well. Shopping is very close by. Lots of restaurants and shops within three blocks. I marked the hotel down on service. The front desk attendants were exceptional--very friendly and helpful every time, and they spoke good English. The cleaning staff, however, may be illiterate. I put out the "Do Not Disturb" sign the first two days I was there, but it was ignored by the cleaning staff. I finally spoke to someone at the front desk and they resolved the issue. The marked down the hotel on comfort. The bed appeared to be a queen-size, but in actuality it was more like two twin beds pushed together with a stiff and uncomfortable attachment running the length of the bed, down the middle. It made it impossible for me to comfortably sleep in the middle. Additionally, I was not able to control the temperature of my room, which was always stuck at 25 degrees C, and that's too hot. I could open the windows and let in the city noise, I suppose. Also, the floors of the hotel are covered with a rubberized matting. While I'm sure this is good for durability and is easy to clean, it's not good for sound absorbency, and the texture was rough on my feet after walking all day. the hotel is superb and one of the best beds we have slept in at a hotel. The only draw back is the parking. We didn't know where the parking was so we stopped outside the hotel so i could nip in and ask at reception and straight away we were asked by somebody to move our car. We explained that we were only popping in to find out where the parking was […] and would then move on but he was insistent that we move. They explained that the parking was round the block but you needed a code to get in so we still had to park the car for a minute to get the code from the hotel. There was parking outside the hotel but this was blocked off. It would be better if this was left open just for people to get the code to move to the parking. Having said this the parking was underground and very secure. Otherwise we couldn't fault the hotel, it was very modern, huge suite and extremely comfortable bed! Our stay was for the Spa F1 GP. We stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful time in and around Liege, Stavolot and Spa. The food in the restaurant and in the bar is excellent. (there is no English on the menu so a basic knowledge of French will get you by) the standard of rooms was fabulous and the staff always available and welcoming.

Rooms are of unusally big dimensions, all set as a junior suite. Decoration is ultra modern, zen, gives an impression of calm and serenity. Location is great, just in the city center, but in a quiet area.

Nous n'avons qu'une chose à dire: magnifique hôtel, ultra moderne, chambre super confortable et hyper spacieuse. Le personnel est très chaleureux y compris au bar , ouvert tardivement ! Nous avons passé 4 nuits à l'hôtel Jalla. Ce fut un excellent séjour : les suites sont très grandes, à un prix très raisonnable pour un 4 étoiles, le buffet du petit déjeuner est très varié et d'une excellent qualité, et le personnel est efficace, disponible et chaleureux. C'est là que nous retournerons lorsque nous irons à Liège.

C'est avec quelques craintes que nous avons réservé cet hôtel en ligne du fait de certains avis mitigés concernant son accueil et ses finitions. Après l'avoir essayé, nous pouvons dire qu'il nous a vraiment séduits : neuf, propre, calme, cocoon, à deux pas du centre (proche du fameux "carré") pour un prix correct. Le parking est très pratique, mais […] son accès sous-terrain est assez étroit. En outre, si vous l'utilisez, pensez à demander à la réception si le feu rouge situé à la sortie fonctionne. Ce n'était pas le cas lors de notre séjour et nous avons attendu en vain quelques bonnes minutes avant de nous rendre compte du problème. S'il fallait trouver un bémol, cela concernerait les travaux de voirie juste devant l'hôtel. Lorsque ceux-ci seront terminés, ce sera vraiment parfait. En conclusion, c'est une adresse à retenir ! PS : le centre étant à deux pas, nous n'avons pas essayé le restaurant, ni pour le souper, ni pour le petit déjeuner. Read more

Das Hotel ist ganz neu und ich habe mich sehr wohl da gefühlt. Es gibt Balkone, für die man sich ggf. den Schlüssel holen muss. In meinem Fall war sogar die Tür offen, daher besser überprüfen.

mooie ruime kamers. Inloop douche erg mooi maar hang een plankje op. Je kunt niets kwijt. De WC is 10 meter verderop aan de andere kant van de kamer. Erg onpraktisch. De sleutelcard werkte niet en moest 3 x naar de receptie voordat de dame doorhad dat ik een andere kamer had. Erg slordig. Voor de gezelligheid moeten ze Toos .v.d. Valk inhuren. ouvert il y a 3 mois, bel hotel moderne, chambres tres spacieuses,modernes, agréables avec balcon ou devrait être mis un fauteuil (suites) restaurant gastronomique de bon niveau avec prix raisonables , personnel agréable, proche centre de liège en négatif : moquettes couloir et chambres semblent difficile à nettoyer et semblent "vielles" alors que hotel […] ouvert il y a 3 mois - un petit papier transparent à coté poubelle salle de bain à notre arrivée, toujours là à notre départ - petit déjeuner indigne d'un 4 étoiles à 18 euros, sans le moindre plat chaud (sauf contre supplément) et arrivée à 9 h 45, très mal reçus, le seul membre du personnel présent prétendant avoir finis à 10 h alors que le week-end indiqué dans les chambres jusque 11 h, ce qu'elle a du admettre quand un autre couple s'est présenté et elle a du faire recuire du pain (délai 8 minutes) mais jus d'orange sont restés vide. -chien assez cher (15 euros) parking O.K. L'hôtel est très bien situé et est très moderne. Malgré cela, je trouve que la décoration est assez impersonnelle. Les chambres sont assez grande et ça manque de décoration. Le n'est pas non plus très confortable lorsqu'on marche pied nu. De plus, j'ai essayez d'appeller plusieurs fois la réception avec le numéro inscrit dans le livre de présentation […] de l'hôtel qui se trouve sur le bureau ( soit dit en passant, qui n'était pas achevé) et la réception n'a jamais répondu.
