Little Mead B&B - Winchester

Spent three nights here and was very comfortable. Charming house with great garden. The hosts were very friendly and everything was spotless. Breakfast was in true English style in the elegant dining room. I recommend the eggs with smoked salmon.

Great to find this lovely home outside the busy town of Winchester. In a small village with a great restaurant nearby. The Plough Inn a traditional country pub. We really enjoyed our stay.

Little Mead was recommended to me for a one night stay and I've already recommended twice and its only been one day. I arrived approx 8pm, the lanes are tight and it could be easily missed be warned, there was plenty of parking out front and I was quickly greeted by the owner. I was taken straight to my room which was well presented and tidy with everything […] you could ask for. A compact but perfectly usable on-suit and a great collection of teas and coffees. The bed was divine with plenty of pillows etc. The doors do bang so be wary especially if you have an early riser but this could be the case anywhere. I opted for the continental breakfast but the selection of items on the full english was impressive with the lady of the house more than willing to cook anything to order. As I was dining alone she stayed for a lovely chat whilst keeping the dog at bay lol. I was given advice on my onward journey which proved well founded. All together a great little place well worth a visit for any reason. Read more

It is very peaceful, nice garden unfortunately we been there in winter time so we could not enjoyet the out side but im sure if we will going in a more warm weather it would be absolutely divine...nice sleep, nice rest ....

She is aware that her b & b is not located in a convenient neighbourhood and thus sends an email prior to your arrival telling you where you can get food and beverages. Little Mead is in a little village near to Winchester. We were welcomed very warmly and offered tea and cake and encouraged to enjoy the garden which is lovely. Charming and welcoming place to stay. 10 Minute drive into Winchester and as a sole traveller it is nice to stay in a warm and friendly establishment. Very clean and tidy with the most comfortable bed ever and a super breakfast. The owners were lovely and made me feel right at home. Would definitely recommend.

very nice b&b in small village. arrived late due to work and the owner was very welcoming and showed me to my room which was also nice, only problem was the size of the tv (17in). had poached eggs for breakfast which were cooked well. would of prefered not to of had to share a large table with others but maybe thats just me?? overall great little b&b […] and would rather stay here than some hotel anyday! We had the most wonderful stay at this B&B last week. The owners were very welcoming and served tea and homemade walnut bread for us in the garden on our arrival. Our room was lovely and overlooked the huge garden. The lady of the house kindly booked us a table at the local gastro pub called The Plough which was only 5 minutes walk away. She even supplied […] us with a torch for the journey back up the country lane. Top quality breakfast with fresh strawberries and blueberries. Full English was perfect. We enjoyed a wonderful evening in the village and the garden of Little Mead. The room was on the small side and on a warm night the crisp and clean bedding was too hot, but we survived. I would thoroughly recommend this B & B. The hosts are very friendly and the breakfast excellent.

Nette B&B Unterkunft in unmittelbarer Umgebung von Winchester. Befindet sich in einem kleinen Ort unweit von Winchester und bietet guten Ausgangspunkt fü Unternehmungen in Hampshire. Angenehme Atmosphäre im Gespräch mit den Wirtsleuten. Zimmer sehr sauber und Betten bequem (obwohl unsere Tochte bei 3-er Belegung im Zimmer nur eine Matraze auf dem Fußboden […] hatte, keinerlei robleme).
