Great little guesthouse with a warm welcome and a comfortable spacious room. Hosts were hugely helpful after an error in our booking date, and found room for us at short notice. Epic breakfast!

Went here for a weekend snowboarding with three friends. The guest house is around 10-15 minutes drive north of Aviemore. The owners were great, couldn't do enough to help, for example: printing off maps of the area and storing our luggage after checkout etc. The breakfast is made too order and very good (one of the owners was a ex-chef!). They also […] do evening meals, although we didn't sample these. The rooms are good with comfy beds and the usual facilities (tea, hair dryer etc.). Very nice little cottage, privately run so the lady was very friendly and place is clean. The latest check in time is 10pm so we had to rush to get there on the first night. But overall good.

I was using the guest house as a base it is the first time I have done anything like this and didn't know what to expect. I couldn't have been more satisfied, from the moment we arrived we were made more then welcome with complimentary coffee in the lounge with open coal fire.. Our room was spotlessly clean and both comfortably furnished and decorated. […] Breakfast and evening meals in the restaurant were more befitting of a 5 star hotel, the menu was very extensive and comprehensive . Picked Carrmoor purely at random and landed very lucky. Very homely with a nice welcome. Expected a snack at dinnertime but got served a gourmet dinner. The location is idylic, easily accessible and close to main roads and the more interesting smaller roads. Accommodation and food were excellent value.

We had a terrific stay, and were made to feel truly welcome at all times. Christine worked so hard to make us comfortable, from the pot of tea/coffee on arrival to the recommendations for places to visit. Michael delivered wonderful evening meals, from an extensive menu, and the breakfast selection was a fabulous start to the day. The Carrmoor was immaculate […] and beautifully presented - very stylish! The beds were comfortable and the room cosy, though you could set your own thermostats to suit. The ensuite shower-room in our recently redecorated twin room was bright and clean with fluffy towels and its own wall heater as well as a new heated towel rail. Many rooms have recently undergone refurbishment. The lounge was very welcoming with many sofas, a real coal fire and a TV - perfect to relax and chat before and after dinner. There was a real sense of family friendliness from Christine, her mum, and Michael, and we felt we were treated like visiting friends - nothing was too much trouble. El bed&breakfast en si no es nada del otro mundo aunque es limpio, cuidado y acogedor. Lo realmente fantástico son sus amos, absolutamente encantadores. Huone oli oikein siisti ja talon emäntä todella miellyttävä ja ystävällinen. Huonemaksuun kuului aamupala ja lisämaksusta illallinen. Ruoka tässä paikassa oli aina oikein herkullista! During the week 27 in 2011 we visited the Carrmoor Guest House in Carrbridge south of Inverness in Scotland. The atmosphere and the family who runs the guest house are very friendly and service minded. The house is newly renovated and situated in a calm area of the little village Carrmore. Our double rooms were very comfortable and clean with nice furniture […] and tastefully interiors. In the lounge we met guests from different countries who returned to the guest house every year. A perfect place if you want to explore whiskey distilleries, walk and climb in the mountains or go to the famous lake Loch Ness. Furthermore, the dinner that we enjoyed in the evening was very good.
