I was not disappointed in any way. The location was easy to get to and a magnificient view from the room of Niagara Falls set the tone for the whole weekend. Dinning was great and service was above my expectations. What more can I say.

great hotel with phenomenal service from the front desk staff. i noticed there were no robes in our room and mentioned it to the front desk as we left to visit the falls just so they were aware and i wouldnt get charged for them. i told them i really didnt need them. when we came back, there were 2 robes in the room, fresh cookies on the desk, new chocolates on the headboard, the bed was remade, and there was a hand-written note. could not have been happier with the stay

Although we didn't spend very much time at the hotel, the staff called to see if we needed anything and they delivered. The beds were comfy, bathroom roomy and nice TV. The free breaky the next morning was good and better than most others I have had.

Location.
Situated in Niagara Falls, Carriage House Motor Lodge is a family-friendly hotel on the Strip and close to Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort, Clifton Hill, and Fallsview Indoor Waterpark. Also nearby are Horseshoe Falls and Skylon Tower.
Hotel Features.
Wireless Internet access is complimentary in public areas. Business amenities include a meeting/conference room and secretarial services. Additional amenities include a seasonal outdoor pool, multilingual staff, and laundry facilities. Self parking is complimentary. This is a smoke-free property.
Guestrooms.
Rooms open to balconies. The 120 air-conditioned guestrooms at Carriage House Motor Lodge include washers/dryers and coffee/tea makers. Beds have Select Comfort mattresses and premium bedding. Guests can use the in-room complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access. Televisions are equipped with cable channels. All accommodations provide desks and phones; local and long-distance calls are free of charge (restrictions may apply). Bathrooms offer shower/tub combinations with jetted bathtubs and handheld showerheads. Bathrooms also include makeup/shaving mirrors, hair dryers, and complimentary toiletries.
In-room microwaves and refrigerators are provided. Additional amenities include windows that open and clock radios. In addition, amenities available on request include irons/ironing boards, extra towels/bedding, and wake-up calls. Housekeeping is offered daily. Big attractions accompany the big falls experience in Canada. Fallsview Indoor Water Park, one of the continent’s largest, sits at the foot of the Rainbow Bridge. Nearby, MarineLand Canada features killer and beluga whales. Gamblers can chose between Casino Niagara and Fallsview Casino Resort, one of Canada’s largest. On a clear day, visitors can see Toronto atop the 520-foot Skylon Tower.

"Avoid this hotel"
I found this hotel by using my iPad while on the road driving to Niagra from Indianapolis. The write up and picture led me to believe this would be a somewhat decent place to stay. There were 2 reviews that gave it 4 stars and I was pleased to see in the wrtie up that ther was an indoor pool and a restaurant on site. What a joke. The pool was empty, […] the restaurant was no longer open and the overall impression was that of an exceedingly seedy and run down property. There's a Travel Lodge right across the street for half the price of the Carriage House. We spent the next 2 nights there and enjoyed their in door pool. The Carriage House ratings (2) of 4 that convinced us to stay here were obvious posted by someone with far lower standards than mine. Read more
"not so good place"
My husband and I we stay at this place for one night.Place is not great at all, Ac was old and made a lot of noise, bathroom needs some work big times, but bed was pretty comfortable, carper was clean, no shampooooo!!!!! so if YOU want to wash your hair bring your own
"very disappointed"
The hotel looks great from the outside...that's where it ends! When I got my key to my first room, someone was already in it so I had to get another room. First of all, the lights on the second floor were burnt out, including the exit light bulbs so we couldn't see as soon as we got up the stairs. The room was musty smelling and the tv stand and night […] table were covered in dust. There was sanitary napkin garbage under the sink from the previous customers i'm assuming. The shower curtain had stains, the shower drain was clogged so I was standing in a pool of dirty, soapy water by the end of my shower. The towels were dirty, we only had a half a roll of toilet paper for 3 women in the room. The sheets were stained and the mattresses were full of crumbs. The telephone didn't work and had no dial tone and the electrical outlets didn't have covers and were hanging out of the wall. This was a classic 'roach motel'....which we did find a roach and left it there for the owners to see. I complained at the front desk but the girl herself couldn't help me. She took my information and let me know that I would get a call from the owners....5 days later and I'm still waiting. This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever been in. It didn't have a lot of ammenities but that didn't matter...we just wanted a clean room. Read more
