This hotel was in a perfect location right at a bus stop. The room was a bit small for American standards (no place to do yoga) but it was comfy. I stayed for a week and the staff was always cleaning the building. It was such a nice environment! The food was really good and the chef was always around.

Well managed hotel - very friendly and accommodating staff. Food choice was somewhat limited, but adequately compensated by a variety of options in the city which is about a couple of miles away.

My girlfriend and I stayed for a few days while visiting friends and family and were very pleased. The "hotel" is a brand new apartment complex with a small reception just inside the entrance. Rooms were big, bright and well appointed. Location is fantastic, right next to the Arndale Centre. The only complaint about the entire place was that the sofa-bed wasn't the comfiest. Will definitely stay here again!

The Carriage House is situated in Huddersfield and regional attractions include Boundary Park, Eureka the Museum for Children, and City of Manchester Stadium. Additional regional attractions include B of the Bang and Galpharm Stadium.

We have a 40 seat restaurant and a beautiful conservatory overlooking the Marsden Moor. Breakfast is served in the conservatory so guest can enjoy the outsanding views. We serve a Traditional Turkish menu including our famous Izgara ( turkish mixed grill on a sizzling platter ) and Firin, slow cooked lamb in a spicy sauce. We also offer a full a la carte menu with delicious steaks and chicken dishes. Traditional bar meals and snacks served in the bar areas. All meals freshly prepared

"Peaceful stay"
Lots of parking and friendly welcome. Beautiful scenery. Bedroom was large and bed comfortable. Beakfast freshly cooked. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely return.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Carriage House"
If you want piece and quiet, this is a good hotel. the room quality was excellent, good beer and the food was also very good with a Turkish menu. There is only one negative to my stay, there was no WiFi and if you are with Vodafone you will not get a signal, bonus!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"convenient for our purpose"
We stayed at the hotel for two nights on 28th June. The bar area was lovely as was the conservatory/breakfast area. The upstairs bedroom areas were spotlessly clean and our room was superb - so clean and comfortable. En-suite bathroom which was perfect - clean, very well kept and looked after - not one single thing wrong with the bathroom or the room […] itself. We had a lovely view, tea coffee facilities - breakfast included which was lovely and the evening meals which we had were excellent - would strongly recommend this hotel - excellent - five star!!! "Very satisfied - but, to find it, beware web maps"
Excellent, friendly service. Spectacular landscape but also close to the main A62. Very welcome cooked breakfast included in the price - full tradtional English or fish. Advice - we had trouble finding it on arrival in the dark. The map available on the web appears to place the location within Marsden. "a real treat"
This is a fantastic place, the country location is have a lovely view even on a rainy day. The hosts where generous with their hospitality and their time. The bedroom felt like luxury it had everything you needed. The food is the restaurant/bar was great lots of choice and some real vegetarian treats which i loved. The breakfast was fresh ,again a lovely […] veggie version. "The Carriage House near Marsden"
In a superb location with fantastic views of the Pennines. Within 5 minutes taxi ride to Marsden. Very friendly, helpful staff. The bedroom was very comfortable and clean. There is also entertainment in the bar at weekends.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
