Really enjoyed our stay! The hotel and staff are wonderful. They have a full breakfast buffet that was delicious. The room was spacious and clean with a beautiful view. The only complaint that we have is that the bed mattress was very hard. Would stay here again!

We really liked the Lafodia hotel. They got our transfer from the pier to the hotel wrong on our arrival by mistake, but other than that it is a great hotel. Nice and clean design rooms, great swimming pool and private beach, nice breakfast, etc. Highly recommended

I stayed with a friend for a few days here and we were beyond impressed. The island is beautiful and the hotel was outstanding. The staff was incredible and extremely accommodating. Everyone spoke fluent English and was extremely friendly. The food was excellent and so were the drinks. The infinity pool was our favorite... so relaxing and peaceful. The island is very quiet and small with no night life but it's perfect for a relaxing vacation. The hotel itself is fab, very clean, very comfortable. One point was that we thought the technology in the hotel was a bit over engineered. The light switches in the room are controlled by electronic pads around the room on the walls, but at night the switches by the bed shone out so bright. Totally unnecessary. The first night we didn't get a wink […] of sleep because the air con in the room wouldn't switch off but the staff the next day were great and moved us to a different room. Upon arrival the girl who checked us in was a bit rude but other than that the staff were great. The pool is a bit small, it was quiet when we were here I wouldn't have wanted to be there in high season. The beach though was fabulous. Read more

This hotel is a compound, but a great place to stay if you are looking more for resort-style accommodations. The staff is friendly, the pool and private beach area is lovely, and most, if not all rooms, are sea-view from the balcony. A huge buffet breakfast is included, which includes champagne. My only critique is that the "gym" offered at the hotel […] is pitiful, as far as hotel gyms go - there is no cardio equipment, and the universal gym was missing its pins at the time we were there. However, if you are not interested in going to the gym on your vacation (or would rather run across the island), I would definitely recommend staying at Lafodia. Read more

We stayed here for 5 nights B&B. You can stay Full board, but there are some very nice local restaurants to sample. Hotel is situated on other side of bay from harbour - you definitely need to contact them prior to your stay if you are travelling independently. And double confirm, as they forgot us. Hotel is like a cruise liner on land - stylish functional […] rooms, great sea views, good quality service. Not for the traveller who likes period features in a hotel, but it serves as a good base point to explore Lopud and surrounding islands. The pool and beach areas are spotless and offer great views, and a superb spot to soak up the sun. We used the jetskies and kayaks from the travel company there, and were given equally good service. One down side was the noise from the cleaners. They seemed to work 24/7 - starting at 6am in the room next door to us after our first night; the sound travels in the building, and it sounded like a a rave in the next room. This was the only negative from our stay though. although we didn't partake in any of it, there is a lot of entertainment put on by the hotel, especially for kids. This wasn't really our bag, but am sure it helped parents who wanted to keep their kids occupied. If you want a place to stay, to relax and chill out, this hotel will hit the button. Read more

We stayed in 4 different hotels on our holiday in Croatia and this was by far our favourite! The hotel doesn't quite suit the small, sleep and a little run down island of Lopud, however the hotel was excellent. The hotel was bright, modern, clean and had friendly staff. The view from the room was excellent. The pool and pool bar were amazing with unspoilt […] views over the Adriatic. The beach area and beach bar are also very well looked after, clean and a lovely place to spend lazy days. I would highly recommend this hotel for its comfort and hi tec rooms, great pool and service. Do be aware that this is very tailored towards the package holiday, however it is easy to escape that if you try! Breakfast was also the best out of the hotels we had stayed in. Read more

We are a couple in our late twenties who stayed four nights at Lafodia on the island of Lopud, an hour by boat from Dubrovnik. The hotel is brand new and we got a really great room with a huge balcony. Great swimming pool area. Very well suited for both couples and families with kids. Although the staff is friendly and hotel very nice, there are a few […] improvement areas (therefore rating of 4 instead of 5). Internet connection should be improved, the line down to the reception is very often busy, the restaurant food is ok, but not amazing and the bikes and jetskis that can be rented through Lafodia Travel were all on repair when we wanted to rent them. The language class offered on a daily basis is a nice initiative, but poorly organised, so could be somewhat improved. But all in all a very likable hotel that can be recommended! Read more

lafodia hotel is a very modern hotel with beatifully designed rooms. We had the basic classic room and we found there was plenty of storage area, lovely views from the balcony, efficent and quite air con, nicely laid out bathroom, beach towels, tv, tea and coffee facilities and a mini bar. The private beach is quite small but we always managed to get […] a lounger, it is a pebble beach with lovely clear waters. There are activities such as kayaking, sailing, jetski and aqua areobics if your into that sort of thing. We hired a kayak for the day 200kuna and had a lovely time paddling around to the Sunj sandy beach on the other side of the island but be warned there are no easy stop off points along the way. The bar at the beach is very nice but service is very slow espcially for food, basically go there before you get hungry! It was the same at the pool, very slow service for hot food. The pool is small but perfectly formed with wonderful views. We visited different restaurants in the town and they were ok but pricey. The island itself is a lovely peaceful place where you can watch the world go by, we often would get a drink at the beach bar and watch the sun go down in the evenings, just lovely. Read more

A great hotel with fantastic view of Lopud bay. Out of season, the weather was superb (20 degrees and sunny most days). With hardly any guests in the last week of the season, there was no rush, easy access to the pool, table tennis etc. The staff were superb - warm, friendly and very helpful. We had an Imperial Suite. If you can upgrade, it is worth […] it. The 180 degree views of the bay and mountains are almost unreal. It is a 25 minute walk to Sunj beach even with kids. The only downsides were the lack of food choices. Apart from one restaurant near the harbour, the only other food choice was the hotel restaurant which is not cheap and lacked choice, especially for kids, but the staff still came up with bespoke items. If you visit, recommend that they do some light bar snacks such as pizza for kids. Also, the hotel is the other side of the bay from where the boats arrive - a 20 minute walk, no joke if you are dragging heavy bags. make sure you tell the hotel to arrange for their buggy to pick up your bags before you arrive. Out of season, Sunj beach is empty and great fun, but the beach restaurant is closed and there are no toilets. Overall however, a fantastic experience and I would recommend Lopud and the Lafodia. Overnattet 3 netter på Lafodia. Hadde bestilt dobbeltrom, men fikk et familierom. Det var et veldig fint rom, god standard og bra service. Det eneste vi har noe å utsette på er at restauranten bærer preg av at dette er et all-inclusive hotell, men det er flere gode alternativer til denne på øya. Alt i alt er vi veldig fornøyde med hotellet.

Lafodia hotel was clean and newly decorated, and hotel is in very nice place with beatifull sea view. We were there with one year old child, so only negative point is that the hotel (like the other hotels in Croatia) are not really made for baby carriage with several stairs, so this might be difficult for handicap people also with wheelchair. The breakfast […] is very good, but the dinner menu in the Italian restaurant is not good and value for money; better to eat dinner outside. We were there in early September, which was already low season, and there were not too many people in the Lopud island. The sand beach on the other side of the island is also very good place to visit. On the beach the restaurant behind has very good prices and has good sized food. Read more

Lafodia er Et flott hotell. Servicen fra betjeningen er upåklagelig. Flotte moderne rom med alle fasiliteter. Eneste som var skuffende, var maten i baren.. Kjipeste sandwichen vi noen gang har fått! Men frokosten er bra :)) et opphold på Lafodia kan trygt anbefales :)

Tilbrakte 5 netter på Lafodia i Juli/August 2012. Meget bra hotell. Hotellet ligger på en bilfri øy med bare en hovedgate. Meget stille omgivelser og ypperlig service på hotellet. Fantastisk frokostbuffe, vi spiste utendørs og med den utsikten så var det perfekt. Stille på hotellet, ingen støy å høre. Bassenget var glimrende, med flott utsikt. Det var […] i tillegg en bar ved bassenget hvor de serverte drinker og lett mat. Det er også et reisebyrå på hotellet som ordner med utflukter til øyer i nærheten og transport til og fra hotellet. Vi ble hentet på flyplassen av egen sjåfør som kjørte oss til en liten havn, der en båt fra hotellet tok oss over til øyen hvor hotellet ligger. Alt i alt en fantastisk fin ferieopplevelse på et flott hotell som vi kan anbefale :-) Read more

Nytt og pent hotell. Hadde med oss 2 år gammel jente, og hotellet passer nok best for de over 3 år. Hotellet bar preg av et det var nytt og ikke alt var ferdig bygd.

Lafodia Hotel anno 2011, må sies å være et av de mest gjennomførte, moderne designede hotell vi har gjestet. God beliggenhet og hyggelig betjening. Hotellet ble åpnet i mai i år, og vi merket at deler av helheten i driften ikke var godt nok innkjørt. Men dette trakk ikke ned vår helhetsopplevelse. Frokostbuffeten kunne vært noe bredere i utvalg og litt […] mer frisk i fargen. Gode fasiliteter for barn - lekeområde, basseng m.v.. Slik vi forstod hotellets klientell bestod dette av individuelle gjester som oss, samt gjester booket gjennom turoperatører. Med omsyn til hvor hotellet hadde sin beliggenhet, atmosfæren på øyen, vil vi anbefale at hotellet toner ned sine organiserte "sydenaktiviteter" (dansekveld, gym ved / i basseng m.v.). Det passer ikke helt inn i atmosfæren på øyen eller på hotellet. Blir litt billig og anstrengt. Vi vil absolutt anbefale øyen Lopud og Lafidoa Hotel Read more

Lopud som reisemål anbefales og Lafodia er absolutt et bra alternativ for overnatting - kanskje det beste? Nyoppusset (juni 2011), moderne hotell med de fleste fasiliteter.
