We enjoyed our stay here. It was well priced, the breakfast was very good, and it was reasonably close to the old town of Dubrovnik. We had a car, so it was nice to have secure parking. Our room was very nice and clean, with a balcony. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We walked to the old town, but that took a good 40 minutes. You can catch a bus, but we didn't bother. I think I'd still stay here if we went back to Dubrovnik. It was a good balance.

Host Viktor was great. He answered all of our queries and gave outstanding recommendations for food and sights and gave us umbrellas when it began to rain. The location perfect, literally 2 minutes walk to the heart of the walled city, and less than a minute to the cove. Our only complaint was that the safe was not bolted down, but we felt so safe we forgot to mention it. Cleanliness, conveniences, noise, and comfort were all top notch. We would definitely stay here again.

I absolutely loved this hotel. Our second floor sea view room was comfortable and offered a panoramic view of the sea. Our private terrace was large enough for me to do my daily yoga outside. The room and bathroom were both spotless. Although we had planned a busy few days of sightseeing, once we arrived we decided to spend a lot of time just relaxing. The cave bar was a uniquely beautiful. We loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

I stayed here for 1 night in a small studio room. It was cozy, but extremely clean with great amenities (A/C, TV, Ensuite bathroom with shower). Upon... calling to check in, I was promptly met by someone who showed me to my room and gave my the keys. It was literally like a 10-second walk around the corner from the main Stradun street. I stayed here by myself and as a female, felt extremely safe even when I walked back through town to the Pile Gate at 5 am to get a taxi to the airport. We spent a lovely 4 days in Dubrovnik from the 01/06/2012 - 05/06/2012. It was our second visit to Dubrovnik and the apartment was it a fantastic central location overlooking the strandun (main street). All the sights in the old town are just a very short walk away. The studio apartment was a good size and very clean. There was ample storage for clothes […] and a hairdryer supplied. The apartment had air conditioning and there were lots of TV channels to choose. Perfekt läge i Dubrovnic. Vi fick ett nyrenoverat rum 2 trappor upp med dusch, pentry och luftkonditionering. Ingen service i övrigt men många bra frukostställen direkt utanför porten. Vi blev hämtade vid flygplatsen och fick vänliga förfrågningar om allt var bra några gånger under de 4 dagar vi var där.

Ich übernachtete zwei Nächte im Studio Stradun. Besonders gefallen haben mir die Zentrumslage der Altstadt Dubrovnik direkt am Stradun und natürlich der unschlagbare Übernachtungspreis, der nicht mal von Appartments weit außerhalb der Altstadt unterboten wird. Das Einbettzimmer war winzig, aber schick (besonders das Bad), sehr sauber und liebevoll […] ausgestattet; W-LAN und Satelliten-TV über Astra 19,2° Ost mit allen deutschen Sendern (wer‘s braucht) ist kostenlos verfügbar. Bald wird sicher auch die bereits im Bad stehende Waschmaschine angeschlossen, dann kann man sogar Wäsche waschen. Direkt gegenüber der Haustür (an der Hausrückseite) ist eine kleine Kneipe mit einheimischen Gästen und für Dubrovnik sehr günstigen Preisen. Appartmentverwalter Milo gibt weitere Tipps zu Sehenswürdigkeiten und Gaststätten. Letztere waren aber nicht alle preiswert, d.h. den gezahlten Preis wert. Mein Fazit: Sehr gute und vor allem günstige Übernachtungsmöglichkeit für Kurzurlauber, die nur für eine Städtetrip nach Dubrovnik kommen. Lediglich für einen längeren Aufenthalt würde ich ein richtiges Hotel nehmen. Noch ein Tipp zu Dubrovnik: Selbst in der Nebensaison (ich war im Oktober dort) ist die Stadt tagsüber völlig überlaufen, besonders wenn mehrere Kreuzfahrtschiffe vor Anker liegen, was im Grunde täglich der Fall ist. Früh morgens und spät abends ist es sehr viel ruhiger und bei abendlicher Beleuchtung in den vielen Freiluftkneipen richtig gemütlich. Read more

Superb location right next to the main street of the old town of Dubrovnik. We had a room with a double bed for 3 nights. The window of our room opened to the main street, while the entry was from an adjacent alley. You couldn't ask for a more central location. The room was clean and recently renovated with new and modern furniture and TV. The toilet […] and shower room was in an equally great condition. It's not a big room, but certainly enough to accommodate two persons with moderate luggage. Due to the location, some street noises will reach the apartment even with windows closed, but we did not find the sound level disturbing when resting. The apartment doesn't offer any additional services than the room for your accomodation, but no matter as you can find every service you need from the surrounding streets. No reception desk, so check-in needed to be separately organized with the owners, for us it went without issues with the friendly staff. I can highly recommend this apartment for people who value central location and a clean and modern interior. Read more
