Comfort Suites Miami Airport N - Miami Springs

I wanted to stay in a slightly nicer hotel before we flew home. This hotel was great. Requested a late checkout and they gave me another hour (12:00). Nothing seems old or outdated or broken down. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here overnight on the way to our honeymoon. I called the hotel when we landed and they had the shuttle on the way. By the time we got the luggage we only had to wait a few minutes for the shuttle. The staff was super nice and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and although we missed the hourly shuttle to the airport by […] a few minutes, the desk staff called him back for us. My only (very minimal) complaint was that the bar in this hotel was closed for the night and we were told we could go to the days inn next door. That hotel was super shady and the bar was so smoky, that we just decided to leave. Also the pool was closed by the time we got to the hotel that night. This is the Carribean Cruise stop, so, very crowded in the morning breakfast and with shuttles. But, it's great for that because of the convenience! Good Breakfast, rooms spacious mini suite sitting area (some rooms are larger than others). All the comforts of a hotel, but nothing fancy about the surrounding areas. I would go back. NO HOT TUB!

My husband and I booked this hotel for a 1 night stay before our cruise out of Port of Miami. We called when arriving to MIA and waited about 20 min to be picked up. When we arrived at the hotel and got to our room we realized we were given 2 double beds, not the 1 king bed we had requested. When I asked the front desk about it, they advised me that […] because I had booked through this website that is why I was given 2 double beds, that they were completely booked and nothing they could do about it. So my husband and I had to sleep in a full size bed which was fine for one night but we would have preferred what we had booked. Outstanding staff. Very helpful and pleasant. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Only minor observation was the A/C unit abruptly powered on and off in the room to maintain temp. Start-up seemed noisy... may have been default setting of the unit... otherwise very quite room. Would definitely stay there again if in the area...

We were pleasantly surprised when we checked in to the Comfort Suites on how very beautiful and up to date the decor was and how wonderful the staff were. They were so professional amd also very helpful with any questions that we had. Our rooms were nicely decorated and modern and spotless! This was a very comfortable room with an upscale look for the night before our cruise. The rooms accommodated adults with kids as they had 2 queens and a sofa sleeper in the sitting area. The shuttle to the cruise port or airport was included. We did have to pay to leave the car parked in their lot, and we hired their shuttle provider to bring us back […] there at a reasonable price. There are some restaurant choices in walking distance. It's a convenient distance to FLL and MIA plus both cruise ports, but not a great neighborhood for a general vacation stay. we went to the wrong comfort inn first, right around the corner which was a DUMP. when they couldnt find out reservation, and realized we were at the wrong place my wife was SO RELIEVED!!! we quickly found the other one, maybe 2 minutes away and what a difference, nice clean lobby, friendly staff, mostly private parking, (gate was usually in use) room […] was excellent, minus a slight odor in the closet and sometimes the bathroom sink - but nothing worth calling the desk about - room had fridge, nice breakfast - hotel has a small bar - they are very energy conscious, the place is clean - we stayed 4 days as we are moving to Miami - and will absolutely stay again. it took about 5-7 minutes to get back to the airport - so going back was very ez. The hotel is new and very clean. The rooms are large. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is located on a short side street off of a busy road, but there are a number of takeout restaurants within walking distance on the same side of the street. The wireless internet was slow, but the wired connection was great. The hotel was lovely. Room clean and large. Unfortunately, the hotel was very busy and one guest was stuck at the airport waiting for the free shuttle ride as there was one staff member working the desk. She tried calling the front desk for 1 hour and no one answered phone. She ended up having to get a taxi at midnight which cost $20! I feel they should […] have taken this off our bill as they advertisied this as a plus for staying at the hotel which is why I selected this hotel. Very disappointed in that. I was initially disappointed by the shuttle survice from the airport - I had to wait about an hour to be picked up after calling 3 times. The shuttle to the cruise ship was much better. And being able to set up my return pick up from the cruise ship to the airport from the hotel was a definite plus! I Iwas also disappointed that the pool wasn't heated. […] Though it was around 80 degrees out, the water was too cold to swim. I stayed here briefly before an early morning flight to the Caribbean. Everyone I encountered (from the shuttle drivers to the front desk staff to the housekeeping people) was friendly, helpful, and efficient. Although I was disappointed that there wasn't a restaurant on the premises, there are several places to eat nearby, and there were microwave […] meals for sale in the lobby for those who didn't want to go out. I had to leave early the next morning, so I can't comment on the breakfast, but in addition to complimentary coffee, they offered free "to go" breakfast bags with a granola bar, a piece of fruit, and a bottle of water. We loved it! We traveled in to stay our first night before setting sell on a Carnival Eastern Caribbean Cruise and then the last night before flying out of Miami. We loved every minute! Great telephone service & has a very friendly staff! Clean place one we got there! Awesome free shuttle service to/ from airport 24 hrs. a day! Great included continental breakfast and the day we left early they even had a brown bag "grab n go" of bottled water, apple and granola bar which was very nice! Highly recommended and there are subway and mcdonalds and restaurants w/in few blocks walking distance. Great place! Book early! No complaints whatsoever! Overall, the hotel was very nice. I booked it primarily for the free airport and cruise port transfers. Pick up at the airport was as easy as calling the hotel while we were picking up our luggage. We got on the wrong shuttle & went to Comfort Inn & Suites. Comfort Suites sent their shuttle to pick us up & the driver said that he had picked up at least 50 people in the last month who had gone to the wrong hotel.
