Siena isn't that big, so any hotel near the old city is really fine in terms of location. We just did a quick one-day sidetrip from Florence, so the convenience of this hotel to the main bus terminal was great. Room was more than adequate.

Loved the Villa during a Siena / Tuscany agriturismo stay. Walking distance to a supermarket. Has Enoteca on site! It is not a hotel, but a apartment hotel Loved it. Service impeccable, help with info on tours, bus schedules etc... Close to Siena, but preferably to cab since it's uphill.

Stayed in this hotel for 1 night passing through to the coast. The hotel is just at the bottom of a steep road 5 minutes from the city walls and s easy to find. The room had no aircon and is dated, with poor bathroom amenities, but had a nice view over the pool and countryside. Breakfast is the normal continental type with machine coffee. Not sure if […] I would enjoy spending any longer than 1 night, although the pool is large and clean. Read more

Alle de dyre luksushoteller med fire og fem stjerner kan ikke måle sig med Villa Nencini. Hotellet ligger simpelthen så dejligt med udsigt mod det toscanske landskab og alligevel i gåafstand fra den smukke by Volterra. Familien som ejer hotellet er utroligt søde og hotellet fungerer godt. Man føler sig virkelig godt tilpas på stedet. Det eneste som […] jeg om min kæreste var lidt skuffede over var kaffen, som var fra en rigtig dårlig kaffemaskine, men så drak vi bare te til morgenmaden og fik kaffen på en hyggelig cafe i byen senere.
