This is a pleasant facility located conveniently close to the city of Stevens Point, WI and to the highway serving that community.I would recommend this hotel to anyone on business or on a vacation trip.

The staff was excellent at meeting our needs, recommending great eateries and giving directions. It was such a nice lobby and breakfast and room. I would love to stay here again. I hope that all in Stevens Point head to BEst Western!

I thought the price was good and the rooms and lobby were very clean. The only thing that we did like was that signs were posted every where that the water was undrinkable because the nitrite and nitrate levels were too high for people to consume. We stayed there and had to buy waters because we had a funeral to go to.

courteous staff nice decor . Close to family in Plover, have stayed at this hotel in past and have always felt got good value for money spent. Short notice due to death in imediate family, nice to have this facilty easy access to rt 39 and city of Plover.
"A fine hotel, but the water in Plover is terrible"

I was just in and out for one night for a business trip. Staff was helpful both at checkin and checkout. The pool looked nice though I didn't use it. Room was plenty big (with surprisingly high ceilings), bed was comfy, shower was plenty warm and good water pressure. The breakfast was pretty good by hotel breakfast standards. The big strike is the water in Plover is polluted - it's not just this hotel, it's Plover overall - and bottled water is recommended and for some people required. The hotel gives you a couple of free bottles of water, though they're in the frig so if you might want to take a bottle out when you get there to warm it up for brushing your teeth, etc. And take them up on it - the water from the tap tastes awful.
"Good hotel, just a little unassertive with disruptive guests"

Everything was good, not luxurious but good, except the overnight front counter person did not deal aggressively at all with a very loud party of drunk women that stumbled into our end of the hotel at 1:40 a.m. Also, I'd like to see a better offering of real foods for breakfast, to include a variety of fresh fruit, eggs, better bakery, maybe even locally sourced, organic products since this is farm/dairy country.

Staff was great! Our bedroom furniture and interior decorations were very beautiful and contemporary. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were super soft! Bathroom and and main room were spotless! Nice large flat screen TV, although some of the channels wouldn't display. We enjoyed their nice sized heated in door pool and hot tub. They also have a nice sized fitness center, but we didn't use it. Their free breakfast was displayed very tastefully, with a good vareity! Five star waffles!!!!! Good location, right off the interstate, which was perfect for us as we're were on a business trip through this area. Over all, it was a very pleasant stay!

I am a OTR truck driver and appreciate the CDL discount at Best Western. I enjoyed my stay at the Plover, WI property as I waited to pick up my load at DelMonte. The hot tub/pool room was relaxing and I especially enjoyed the choice of music in the evening. Thank you.

Our stay in Plover at Best Western was great. The rooms/beds/breakfast were great. During our visit the hot tub heater/thermostat was broken, which was a bummer for that day . . but I am sure that isn't the case all the time.

We were pleasantly surprised with our very clean, well-appointed room. We stayed in a king whirlpool room. The room was large, the bed was comfortably firm, the furnishings were useful (large enough chair and ottoman, large flat screen TV, coffee pot, microwave and fridge). The whirlpool filled fast, jets worked fine. The staff we met were very friendly and helpful. In fact, we were called soon after arriving in our room by staff to check on our satisfaction with the room. We used the pool/hot tub. The hot tub was a bit too warm to sit in longer than a few minutes and the vent fan in the pool area was too loud to converse with each other. The breakfast was plentiful and satisfying. The tap water didn't taste so good in our room, but there was a water cooler in the lobby and a couple of bottles of water in our fridge. We were very impressed with all the work that was put into this hotel and the room prices beat any newer hotel in the area (We've tried several, including B & B's). We are very happy that we finally found a spot to stay again when we visit our kids in Stevens Point!
