We enjoyed our visit. When we checked into the hotel we had come in on an international flight and boy were we hungry, we asked for a nice place for dinner and the shuttle service offered to take us to a local Spanish resturant and they picked us up after dinner. The hotel itself was very nice, clean, high priced look and feel to the look. Everyone seemed very friendly, the room itself was very nice too, clean and organized, we didnt used the stove top that is in the room but we did use the flat screen tv (with cable) and full size fridge. You get a super comfortable bed with amazing pillows, nice seating area, […] there is a desk area where you can plug your laptop to this piece and watch your laptop screen on the flat screen that is in the room, I didnt use it but very cool for a family. I didnt get a chance to hang out in the pool so no comment on that, but it looked well taken care of. Ok now the bad, I got stuck like everyone else because the road (25th ST ) was closed off due to construction, so I just kept to 28th and made a round turn kinda thing (look it up on a GPS or map if you are not familiar with Miami, its not really the hotel`s fault but still annoying, also the location isent so hot, its mainly non retail businesses so walking to the hotel isent a good idea but its not like you had weirdos walking around but the good thing is that its gated (the hotel), 2nd thing was the parking, I live 2 hours away so I drove down, I was hit with a parking fee which is a little silly. Really nice hotel, clean, modern, well kept. The hotel was difficult to find with all of the construction that has apparently been going on for a while. It is located in an industrial area so it is not close to tourist sites. Neighborhood around the hotel isn't very good for getting out and walking.

This hotel was really impressive, especially at a very reasonable price. Updated, close to hotel, great shuttle service, and clean. I knew we would be late coming into Miami so paid in advance for our room. We were to embark on a cruise at noon the next morning, and FINALLY found this hotel in a 5 mile radius of construction at 2am. My son was asleep on my shoulder and we waited and waited for teh front desk clerk to find our room. 15 minutes passed, and he actcually started calling […] guests to see if the room was vacant - waking people up! After 30 minutes of this, he said he couldn't find a room and said "he would put us up at another hotel". By this time, we were at the end of our patience. I walked very far out in the scary parking lot (terrible area - with security fencing all around teh parking lot) to retrieve our car (it's 3am now) and I pull it up to the front to pick up my family. The clerk comes out and knocks on the door and says "He found our room - it had been mismarked." After all that, he wouldn't allow my husband's drivers license to be used to check in. Just a ridiculous situation. The hotel was interesting, but it certainy does not warrant any kudos due to the extremely poor customer service and tarining of personnel. I asked for the manager repeatedly and the clerk said he WAS the manager - which, if true, only makes this property even WORSE! Read more

The Element is located near MIA, and not far from the expressway, however it was in the middle of nowhere. I loved it. The hotel was very modern and contemporary, the staff were kind and extremely helpful. Especially William, who made sure my first experience at his hotel was a great one. Staying at the Element Miami was a highlight of our weekend in Miami. We found the hotel stylish yet comfortable. We loved our one bedroom suite and the ability to connect our laptop to the TV to watch Netflix. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. I like it when hotels try a little harder for business travelers. This is a great hotel with nice rooms, comfortable beds and great staff. Excellent. A hotel of this type should have a restaurant. We were taken to a hotel by the shuttle driver and found it to be good food although it wouldn't have been our first choice. We only found out the driver did this by accident. It was a nice touch though. The hotel itself was great.

I got off the plane at 2 a.m, plugged the hotel location into the GPS and followed the direction. It was only until I heard the GPS say, you have arrived at your destination that I took a good look around. I was in a ghetto neighborhood and there was not a civilized area in sight. I rerouted the destination and once again, I came to the same corner […] where a homeless man kept trying to wipe my rental car with a dirty rag. I was freaked out, so I looked up the address in my phone hoping I had made a mistake. I re-entered the address and was re-routed me, up another highway and a back way to the same place, same homeless man and now there were ladies of the evening on the corner. I called the hotel and Muhammad was very nice, he guided me to the hotel verbally and stayed on the phone with me until I found it. It was hidden on some shady street and was in a high gated locked compound. Once in the hotel, it was very nice, clean, modern. In the morning the neighborhood certainly seemed less ominous but overall was still awful. It is a shame it is off the beaten path, its a really nice hotel. The room was spacious and just awesome. I found myself taking pictures of the room because of beautiful appointments that I want in my own home. The one big drawback was the sound of airlines flying over head (which wasn't really that bad). The front desk said they are working on a cell tower for the hotel which will really help with the poor reception that is currently a challenge.

Spent 2 nights in Miami and needed to stay close to airport. Hotel is conveniently located and has a predictable airport shuttle. Landed around 8 PM and waited 15 mn for the shuttle. The receptionist could not find my booking so I had to call Expedia to sort it out. By 9, I was finally in my King room. The room was spacious although I found the furniture […] and staging awkward. The room had a kitchenette with a large fridge, a huge sofa eating most of the space and a desk. The bathroom was small but fabulous! The hotel is new but the ugly kakhi carpet in the hallway has already seen better days. The room walls are pretty thin so I could hear doors slamming and people talking in the hallway not to mention airplanes! The hotel does not have a restaurant but their website boasts a "pantry" which turns out to be a selection of chips, snacks and 2 Lean Cuisine frozen dinner. Not exactly the type of meals you expect after a long trip and there are no restaurants nearby. Breakfast unfortunately wasn't better: everything was cold at 7am!
