Very nice room, half an hour by car from Grand Canyon, nearest location except those inside the Grand CanyonGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good location to Grand Canyon"
Good for a night stay. 20min to Grand Canyon.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice place for the night"
The staff was very friendly, check in and check out was fast and painless. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The biggest issue was I got there after the front desk had closed, so there was no one there to explain to me that I had to drive down the road 2 minutes to stay at the Motel part of this business. It looked so different from the other buildings […] I didn't realize they were part of the same hotel rooms. They did draw me a map though, and left my key in an envelope taped to the front door, which was nice because I wouldn't have been able to stay there otherwise! I would stay here again if I made the same trip to the Grand Canyon. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This is an older hotel, and well used. The plumbing was a noise maker, but we felt lucky to get a room on short notice. Rate was fair Parking great Beds were outstanding!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
it is not hotel, just motel.we payed $140 for hotel. but too small , no refrigerator, no hair dry... no, no, no. recommendGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"simple and to the point"
Hotel was simple and to the point exactly what was needed for the weekend. Its a little outdated nothing fancy but perfect for a weekend get away.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff was cold and had no customer service skills. The lights didn't work, but that was probably a good thing. It was harder to see how dirty the room and bathroom were. The towels were dirty andthreadbare. The curtains didn't close, we had to use chairs to hold them in place. Then the shower faucets were broken, the tub didn't drain, and even when […] we asked for service they never came. It was noisy, smelled funky, and is a total ripoff. We left in disgust ..horrible! "Great place to explore Grand Canyon from"
Valle might have nothing to do or see, but Williams (tons of restaurants) is only half an hour south and the Grand Canyon is only half an hour north. The Grand Canyon Inn is a lot closer to the canyon than all the hotels in Williams and is a ton cheaper than staying closer to the canyon. The hotel itself is perfectly decent, with cute western style […] rooms. Nothing spectacular but that's what you pay for. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"2 nights in grand canyon Inn-"
We stayed 2 nights there to visit / hike in the grand canyon park. The hotel is 30 min from the park. Rooms are correct. Wifi was not working well. We got an issue woth bathroom which has been fixed quickly Staff was ok. We had a room with 2 queens and a rollaway bed.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel was cute. I loved the cabin feel but the lanterns were not enough light. The coffee pot had coffee grounds in it ~ yuk. The closet had trash inside. You decide........Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The water from shower was on and off. Have to wait in the bath for water to come back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lots of cute personality"
We stayed in the annex. It is quite small especially the shower. We were pleased with it. The location is nice, and it met our needs. However, while in the National Park area, do not eat at the Big E Steakhouse. We are easy to please, but that may have been the worse meal out ever. We do not recommend the chicken for sure. Pick another place. As far […] as the hotel, it is cute and clean. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
For the rate, I am glad we stayed here rather than closer to the park. This hotel and a campsite are the little town they are in (neither Valle nor Williams as GPS states, those are bigger towns 20 min in either direction). The hotel claims that it is "only 25 min from park entrance," which is more like 35-40 min. All the hotels right outside the entrance […] are super expensive, so if you have the time and vehicle, its worth the drive. However none of the free shuttles go out to this town. Nothing in town, including the hotel front desk opens until later in the morning, so if you want to make it an early day at the park, take care of business the night before. We got in around 10 pm and left by 6 am, so the room served its purpose. We had a "bunk" room, which meant the room was big enough for the (double size) bed and shower only, it was tiny! If you plan to stay more than just one night or have more than you and a spouse, make sure you get a bigger room or stay at a different hotel. Our room was a drive down the road from the front desk, which was rather inconvenient. The quilt on the bed felt as though it wasn't washed regularly and the pillows were soiled. Both this town and the town outside the canyon were completely booked (we stayed on a Wednesday night mid August), so there was no room for movement, we were stuck. If I had to do it again, I would have brought my tent and stayed at the Flintstone campsite right next door. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Pros: 20 min away from Grand Canyon. Annex building remodeled rooms were very nice. Cons: Pool needed vacuuming, maintenance on the grounds was lacking (burned out bulbs, light post knocked over, grass needed cutting, weeds pulled) Standard rooms were okay, clean, nice size, beds weren't very comfortable, poor WIFI, restaurant quality was fair (food […] bland and tasteless), halls reeked of sanitizer, no phones in the room (?), television reception made viewing unwatchable Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Family vacation including a trip to the Grand Canyon so we wanted to stay close in case we couldn't get through it in one day. Well, it only took a few hours to see so we wasted our money on this overpriced ($161) room that had absolutely no water pressure in the shower and the shower head was extremely low and the air conditioning was not cool at […] all. The bathtub was covered in hair and soap scum. I am a retired traveling salesman. I spent 30 years traveling the U.S. I have had to stay in some pretty bad hotels over the years in remote locations like this. This is without a doubt the most disgusting bathroom I have experienced. It looked as if someone had trimmed their beard and left the tub covered […] in short hairs. There was soap scum built up all over the tub and on the floor. The restaurant had 1 waitress working a room of about 25 tables during dinner hour. The prices were comparable to those of New York city or San Franciscos 4 star hotels, and food was mediocre at best. The towels felt like sandpaper and you could actually see through them when held up. Don't go here folks, there are many better places for the same price range near by. Good size room and fairly clean. Old bath vanities and not enough wall outlets. Front desk staff not extremely welcoming. Overall a decent inn reasonably away from Park entrance.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good for the money"
We knew that it wouldn't be a fancy Hotel, but it was comfortable and it was half the cost of anything else we found. We had no problems with our room.Genuine Expedia guest review
I guess because it was so close to the Grand Canyon is a big bonus. The room we had seemed dated and so so. The bathroom we had was in need of repair and the towels were either stained or dirty. It wasn't intolerable but I most limely wouldn't stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Arrived for a 3-day stay outside the Grand Canyon National Park in Valle, AZ. (The hotel address of Williams, AZ is 30 miles away). Registration, lounge and restaurant on one side of the highway and lodging on the other side. Friendly service, nice facilities, excellent housekeeping. For two adults, room space small but sufficientGenuine Expedia guest review
"The hotel is not located in Williams,"
The Hotel is far from restaurants , almost 28 miles from the city and restaurants. We were 2 adults and 3 kids 5, 8 and 12 years old, difficult to move in the room which was very small and the bathroom was worse. We were very happy to stay only one nigh.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Acceptable Hotel not far from Canyon"
Overall, good experience. Requested extra bed - was not there first night & there was no staff on duty to give us a rollaway bed...did leave a key to the room, though.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean & Comfortable"
Pros: Clean room & shower. Nice decorating theme. Nice staff. Free ice when leaving. Cons: Across street from office. No microwave or fridge. Not actually in city of Williams(30 min away)Genuine Expedia guest review
Proximity to the Grand Canyon is the only reason to stay here. Hotel is overpriced (at least in July) relatively to its standard. Be sure to stay on the upper floor, otherwise you'll hear every step of a guest above.Genuine Expedia guest review

"stuck in the 50s"
Shower water pressure was off and on. Pool looked post-apocalyptic decor, water was dirty and cold, unusable. Only good thing was it is somewhat close to the Grand Canyon.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Easy in and out- fun rooms and friendlyGenuine Hotels.com guest review
For the price, everything was pretty good. The room was a little dated but it was clean. I think replacing the carpet would help a lot, but the room wasn't bad. Only concerns were wifi didn't seem to work, and there was a gap under the door (thankfully we did not receive any "visitors"). Location to the Grand Canyon was good, it wasn't a very far drive […] (20-25 minutes?). Very pretty area, not much around but very nice. The restaurant had very good food and everyone was really nice. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"stay in Williams or at the Canyon Village"
It's was just ok. See bedrock (Flintstones) across the road. No where to eat after 9pm. Hotel restaurant was over priced and sub-Par. There are only two places to eat in Valley. Stay in Williams it is worth the drive.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Cute Bungelow type rooms"
Very cute bungelow type furnishings such as log bedstead and bathroom faucet looked like a pump. Very clean and front desk person was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again if I'm in the area! The only cons: no hair dryer & rooms are small.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
There was needed repair on the ceiling. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The staff was very nice. Breakfast was yummy. The only meal we ate there. Restaurant was loud..poor acoustics. We were visiting the Grand Canyon and also spent a day in cultural district of Flaggstaff. Poor television. Few station's, no movie channel, no high definition. The room was very quaint, clean and comfortable, especially for the price paid. The hotel had a lot of nice western and Grand Canyon decor, which was fun. The room that we stayed in was down the road from the main hotel, so wifi signal was not strong enough to use effectively, and we had to drive to breakfast (which was not included in the price).Genuine Expedia guest review
"Avoid, if possible"
Poor quality lodging, somewhat rude staff. Questionable cleanliness, run-down rooms. One should not be fooled by the presence of a pool, it is not maintained. Only advantage is proximity to Grand Canyon.Genuine Expedia guest review
"20-30 Minutes from the Grand Canyon South Rim"
I was a little shocked to learn there is $200 credit hold on your credit card when you check in but it released almost immediately when we checked out so it became a "non-issue". The carpet in the room was a little worn but we were very pleased with the room and rest room. It's close proximity to the Grand Canyon was really nice. We were able to beat […] the crowds to the Visitor Center. The attached restaurant was also nice and I really wish we had breakfast there, on our first day, instead of McDonald's! "Yearly Pit Stop with School Group"
The Grand Canyon Inn is a yearly stop for my school group, on the way to the Grand Canyon. They are on Route 66 and next to a convenience store, and have a relatively large restaurant that serves good food. The rooms however need some major remodeling. They are very outdated and dingy. But great for a short stop. And the pool is actually really nic […] e! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not what I expected"
This hotel was listed as being in Williams AZ when in fact it is 30 miles north of Williams in Valle AZ. The hotel has no real amentities to speak of. I paid for a room with 2 queen beds but was placed ina room with two double beds. There is nothing in the vicinity and although a 40 minute drive from the Grand Canyon you could go another 30 miles north […] of this location and find a number of hotels to choose from with fast food and other restaurants in walking distance along with free shuttle service to the canyon. We traveled with young children and I would not recommend this hotel because there really is nothing for them to do at this location. On top of this I paid for my room with an advance reservation but when I checked in I was charged an additional $200.00 deposit for damage coverage (which I have since had released back to me) but was totally not expecting this charge. Other hotels I checked into during my trip charged me between 10 and 20 dollars but not 200! The bottom line I would not recommend this hotel and do not plan to stay here in the future. "Nice hotel, few amenities"
Nice hotel, 20 miles from Grand Canyon park entrance, so not too bad. No microwave and terrible in-room coffee. But A/C worked well and the mini fridge/freezer worked. The restaurant was great and the staff very friendly. Would go back.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good for 1 night stay near the Grand Canyon"
The room was small but clean. Great value for being so close to the Grand Canyon. Building is a bit older but mostly well maintained. One of the electrical outlets did not work, but everything else seemed to work fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"nice hotel to far from every thing"
I booked two days then decided to book one more a couple hours later this was in Feb my stay was in July. This couple of hours evidently changed my room that last night. I had no idea I had to change rooms that morning and the hotel didn't notice when I checked in that I had 3 nights. I was thirty minutes away when they called me to tell me I had to […] check out when I told them I had 3 nights they couldn't find my reservation. I had to call expedia to clear it up but still had to move rooms the first one was upstairs the second one was downstairs. Plus I had to drive back from Williams 30 minutes away to change rooms. The address for this hotel was Williams but is actually in Valle 30 minutes either way from any thing. So if you stay there make sure you have the same room every night before you go anywhere. Some rooms where up dated my friends where in another room the sink leaked and the air conditioner was old and didn't keep the room cool enough. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

The ac didn't cool whole room, there was only 1 sugar and 1 creamer in room , no phone to call desk,Genuine Expedia guest review
This is one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in. The rooms were newly remodeled and spotless. It's about a 20 minute drive from the Grand Canyon, so it's not in the middle of the touristy resort area. The benefit of that is it was very quiet at night, but still acceptably near enough to the canyon that we didn't mind the drive.Genuine Expedia guest review

Grandcanyon Inn is excellent for visitor of Grandcanyon hikers . I love this Inn !Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Good weighpoint between Sedona and the Canyon. Reasonably priced for the area and season.Genuine Expedia guest review
Stayed overnight on a visit to Grand Canyon. Room was very nice and closer than hotels in Williams. Except for the hotel/gas station store and restaurant there isn't anything else around here.Genuine Expedia guest review
