"They are close to Park, they should improve."
The hotel is close to park and Can be made more pleasant to take the advantage of location and get more customers.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean hotel with large rooms"
One of the largest rooms and the rate is reasonable. The staff was not as courteous or friendly as they could be. We ate only one meal there and it was good.Genuine Expedia guest review
"way overpriced for quality"
This was the only hotel available when we were looking for a room near the Grand Canyon. It was over $200 for a night.. Memorial Day weekend prices... and it is in sore need of an update... We stayed at a lovely boutique hotel in Sedona the next night for the same price and it was like night and day. I assume they can get these rates due to demand, […] but they really should do some work on the hotel to update it if they are going to charge that much.. The little diner next door had great breakfast though and cheaper than 30 minutes north at the grand canyon... Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel close to Grand Canyon"
Nice hotel, 20 minutes from Grand Canyon. I wasn't expecting very much because it's in the middle of nowhere.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Good hotel for grand canyon & other sites"
The rooms in main part were spacious, clean and comfortable. The room in the the wild west annex was smaller but clean, comfortable and it smelled good and it did not have carpeting which I really appreciated. The staff was helpful, followed through on inquiries, and seemed quite cheerful doing so. And the waiters in the restaurant were quite good with […] our rambunctious children. Seemed to be a child friendly place, and no we did not let our kids destroy anything. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Okay stopover point"
This was a fine spot to stay after hiking in the Grand Canyon. The shower lost hot water after a few minutes, and the rooms are very small. But the service was friendly enough.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
No problem at all. Good time and stay on Grand Canyon.Genuine Expedia guest review
"I had booked on wrong date"
But I could not confirm my reservations because of lack of WiFi connections. Didn't expect this. So when I got a glimpse of where the hotel was and telephone number I called. The clerk eas very rude: 1. She couldn't understand my last name, and made no effort to spell it after I did to her.....she could have spelled back so I could confirm or correct. […] Instead she proceeded to butcher the pronouncement of my name...it was insulting. 2. She kept telling me that I had NO reservations. I said I did. She asked me if I had the right hotel. This reversal of blame isn't good for domestic fights, let alone in customer Support. I told her I would get a confirmation number and call her back. 3. Because of terrible WiFi, I couldn't get number. I called back, talked w another lady, who found my reservation by name....no trouble. 4. I drove to hotel, got the first women at the desk. She started out by saying, I didn't have reservation. I told her I spoke to another lady who confirmed my reservation. She said..."well it wasn't me..." 5. The clerk decided to look up my name on Reservation list on computer, it was there. Next she called over the manager. Manager calmly explained that reservation was booked for following nite......I told her to cancel that reservation, the hotel had no more rooms, even if they did, I was determined to find another hotel. I did, even closer to Grand Canyon park. Main problem is that it took 3 people and 3 hours to tell me Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good Hotel for the Money in Tourist Area"
I think this is a great place to stay if on a budget in the Grand Canyon Area. However, it is about 30 minutes from the South Rim entrance which is a negative. Hotel restaurant had a good reasonably priced breakfast. I would recommend it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice but extremely small"
My husband and I planned a day away from Vegas and decided to see the a Grand Canyon. All of the hotels in the park were pretty high and completely booked so I found this one. We were met by a nice receptionist who told us we were staying at the motel that was down the street. The parking lot was pitch black and there are pictures of faces on the door […] (a bit creepy!). The room was clean however extremely small. .. to the point that my husband sat in the middle of the bed and could touch the walls on both sides! The shower is even smaller as I was hitting my elbows against the walls trying to wash myself. In all, it was ok for a one night stay. .. clean but very small. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"You get what you pay for, would stay here again"
A great price for being close to the Grand Canyon. Stayed in a Standard Room in the Annex Building, which is very small with a double bed and no room for bedside tables. It was clean, quiet and comfortable enough. I wouldn't want to stay a week in such close quarters, but one night with just my husband and I it was alright. If you are arriving after […] 9pm, stop and eat first. Nothing was open, which was poor planning on our part but not their fault. Front desk staff barely spoke to me when I was there, but weren't unpleasant and I never waited to be helped. I would recommend this hotel, but be sure it fits your specific travel needs. "Nice hotel and close to Grand Canyon National Park"
It is 23 miles away from Grand Canyon south rim and it is cheaper than hotels located in Grand canyon Village, AZ. Also it is neat and clean and staff is good.Genuine Expedia guest review

I was unable to make it to the hotel because of legitimate reasons, and they were unwilling to refund my reservation. They are very inflexible...Genuine Expedia guest review
"Grand Canyon Inn older part of motel"
We stayed in the old hotel across the street which wasn't as nice as the main Hotel but cheaper. The room was small, and beat up. Okay for one night, but for 75$ and 25 miles from Grand Canyon, you may do better.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Tiny but nice!"
We stayed in one of the "Bunkhouse" rooms, and while it was tiny, it was very nice. The room was clean, the fixtures were updated and the bed was very comfortable. The room was like a tiny log cabin with a little porch area out front and it was super charming. I did not stay in any of the main building rooms, but from the pictures they had at the front […] desk, they looked like standard boring dated (Yay 80's southwest decor!) side of the freeway in the middle of nowhere rooms. I was glad we stayed in the bunkhouse room even though it was little just because how how cute it was. The front desk girl was VERY nice and even stayed late to check us in since we got in later than they close (FYI they close for check in at 9 pm, but will leave your key for you if you come in after that). Overall, I liked the hotel. It was not fancy, hip, cool or even very modern, but it was clean and comfy and charming. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Worth to consider"
It is not the best one in around but if you are planning leaving Park at late(e.g: enjoying sunset inside park) and don't want to drive 4 hours back to Vages, this is a good choice.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Large comfortable rooms, quiet location"
The hotel is in a small town called "Valle" (not Williams) and it is 20 minutes to the GC park entrance. The hotel has several wings. Our's was the furthest back (by the pool) and it was very new and clean. It had large rooms and nice soft feather pillows. I slept great! The pool is small and it was closed (in May). The hotel restaurant is great for […] breakfast if you like pancakes, bacon, coffee. It was delicious, but a little bit expensive. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"OK if no other hotel closer to Grand Canyon."
Just a place to stay while visiting the Grand Canyon if you can't find a closer hotel at a reasonable price. TV remote didn't work because batteries needed to be replaced. A little annoyance but something the management should worry about. One ice machine didn't work. The other, quite a distance away, said 25 cents for ice but could not insert quarter. […] However, pressed button and ice came out. Only two towels for 4 people. They would not allow us to leave our two suitcases before check in time. It was certainly was not cheap so I am taking into consideration the price. I expected better for what I paid. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
This is an OK hotel. You should look at booking a room here if you can't find anything better. Rooms are ok, you pay for the breakfast. Breakfast is a little expensive but food was good. Hotel was supposed to provide free wi-fi, but internet was down the two nights that we stayed.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Ok hotel - but too far from Canyon"
We got there Saturday morning around 10 but were unable to check in yet. Rooms are not modern. Popcorn ceiling, floor hear and heater in bathroom which neither worked. Heater was in wall from outside. Restaurant was nice, but low ceilings so the acoustics were really bad. Servers seemed to be all hispanic and some where hard to understand. Bar was nice. "An Inexpensive Choice"
For a Grand Canyon trip this hotel was an inexpensive choice for our family. The rooms were basic and worked for the overnight stay we needed. The bar tender at their lounge, Stephanie, was friendly and knew a lot about the area, she gave us some tips for our return visit to the Grand Canyon. The staff at the restaurant was friendly and very helpful. […] We had 5 kids with us and they made our breakfast experience go smoothly. We would stay here again on our next trip to the Grand Canyon because, of the cost and on site restaurant. The location is only and hour south of the National Park and across the street is a Flintstones campground made to look like Bedrock. We didn't have enough time to visit but, I know the kids would have enjoyed it so, if you have the time, check it out. All in all the Grand Canyon Inn was a good experience. "Not close enough, choose Tusayan!"
The hotel is fine, no complaints, but don't stay in Valle, stay in Tusayan. Valle is about 25 min. from the Grand Canyon Nat'l Park entrance, whereas Tusayan is only a few min. When you've been driving for hours to get to the Grand Canyon, you don't want an add'l 25 min. drive tacked on - trust me! It might be more expensive in Tusayan, but how I wish […] I'd spent the extra money for the convenience. Also, Tusayan has restaurants and the Nat'l Geographic Visitor Ctr where you can see their Imax movie, and hotels and gift shops, and it's a cute little town. Valle is a one horse town and it's a little depressing. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
If you can't stay in the Grand Canyon lodges, and don't want to be pay the prices in Tusayan, this is a good option. Sort of in the middle of nowhere, but the adjacent travel center has all everything you need, and the rooms themselves are good sized and clean. Spotty TV reception and wifi, but this is more a place to sleep, than to stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We were on a cross country trip and stayed here the night before visiting the Grand Canyon. The staff was really friendly and it was extremely casual. Great local beers on tap in the bar and great service as well. The only thing I have to comment on is that there was no ice machine where the sign said there was one. I searched my whole building and […] didn't find it. Would still go back though! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"excellent stopover destination on the way to GC"
The hotel is very conveniently located about 20-25 mins away from the south rim entrance. We drove from Vegas and spent few hours at hoover dam before heading towards grand canyon. We spent the night at Grand Canyon inn which is a pretty good option if you are looking to spend the night and get an early start to see grand canyon. The hotel is not luxurious […] but pretty comfortable to stay for a night or two if you are going to spend most of the time in GC. The onsite restaurant is pretty decent and reasonably priced considering that it is located in the middle of nowhere. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was just barely OK, but situated in an ugly section of the highway to the GC. The problem is that we were told by the web person that it was right at the GC. It was actually a 30 minute drive away. Very dishonest.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Nice and clean hotel. Little store nearby. Very poor wifi connection.Genuine Expedia guest review
It is a nice hotel, we were very comfortable, we sure will stay there again if we need to...The only thing that I noticed but didn't bothered me was the noise coming from the second floor, we could hear the steps and the water running when they were taking a shower...But other than that it was very good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

WiFi did not work at all, our tech-savy grandkids were very disappointed in this issue!!! also, although the motel was not very full, we had a lower unit with someone directly above us, floors squeeked badly and footsteps were very loud. "Needs new plumbing"
We rented two rooms so I know it was not just a room problem. Both rooms had very noisy plumbing and showers had variable temperature and water pressure to the point to the water pressure stopped. Two family members gave up on showers which is sad after a dusty windy day at the Grand Canyon. Toilets required you to hold the handle at least 30 seconds […] to get them to flush properly. We were in the second building south of the check in building. The restaurant was very slow but the waitress was very pleasant and apologetic. Food there was about $14 salad, $19 steak and was OK. The Chicken alfredo and another noodle dish were poor and my teens refused to eat at the restaurant again although I personally did enjoy my steak. The main plus was that It is not located in Williams but is half way to the Grand Canyon on interstate 64. So it was not as long of a drive to get there. But consider taking the train from Williams and staying in a better hotel. I hear they have a train robbery on the train ride which sounds like fun! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
