"On our way across the country to the East coast..."
We arrived a half hour before the they closed for checking in that night. Check in was quick, the room was large, clean the bed was comfortable and I and enjoyed the decor of the room. "An Inexpensive Choice"
For a Grand Canyon trip this hotel was an inexpensive choice for our family. The rooms were basic and worked for the overnight stay we needed. The bar tender at their lounge, Stephanie, was friendly and knew a lot about the area, she gave us some tips for our return visit to the Grand Canyon. The staff at the restaurant was friendly and very helpful. […] We had 5 kids with us and they made our breakfast experience go smoothly. We would stay here again on our next trip to the Grand Canyon because, of the cost and on site restaurant. The location is only and hour south of the National Park and across the street is a Flintstones campground made to look like Bedrock. We didn't have enough time to visit but, I know the kids would have enjoyed it so, if you have the time, check it out. All in all the Grand Canyon Inn was a good experience. "Not close enough, choose Tusayan!"
The hotel is fine, no complaints, but don't stay in Valle, stay in Tusayan. Valle is about 25 min. from the Grand Canyon Nat'l Park entrance, whereas Tusayan is only a few min. When you've been driving for hours to get to the Grand Canyon, you don't want an add'l 25 min. drive tacked on - trust me! It might be more expensive in Tusayan, but how I wish […] I'd spent the extra money for the convenience. Also, Tusayan has restaurants and the Nat'l Geographic Visitor Ctr where you can see their Imax movie, and hotels and gift shops, and it's a cute little town. Valle is a one horse town and it's a little depressing. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
If you can't stay in the Grand Canyon lodges, and don't want to be pay the prices in Tusayan, this is a good option. Sort of in the middle of nowhere, but the adjacent travel center has all everything you need, and the rooms themselves are good sized and clean. Spotty TV reception and wifi, but this is more a place to sleep, than to stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We were on a cross country trip and stayed here the night before visiting the Grand Canyon. The staff was really friendly and it was extremely casual. Great local beers on tap in the bar and great service as well. The only thing I have to comment on is that there was no ice machine where the sign said there was one. I searched my whole building and […] didn't find it. Would still go back though! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fairly close to Grand Canyon"
We stayed here for two nights during the week. It was quiet and clean. It was a little chilly in the room that is why I gave it a OK rating on comfort.Genuine Expedia guest review
"locatuon is confusing"
it took us time to locate the motel based on the address in hotels.com. upon calling tje hotel, we were told to look for Ville airport on the GPS and that eas easy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean spacey room"
My family, husband and two school age children stayed at Grand Canyon Inn on our trip to Grand Canyon. We really enjoyed the quiet, clean and spacey room, all that we asked for.Genuine Expedia guest review
"excellent stopover destination on the way to GC"
The hotel is very conveniently located about 20-25 mins away from the south rim entrance. We drove from Vegas and spent few hours at hoover dam before heading towards grand canyon. We spent the night at Grand Canyon inn which is a pretty good option if you are looking to spend the night and get an early start to see grand canyon. The hotel is not luxurious […] but pretty comfortable to stay for a night or two if you are going to spend most of the time in GC. The onsite restaurant is pretty decent and reasonably priced considering that it is located in the middle of nowhere. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was just barely OK, but situated in an ugly section of the highway to the GC. The problem is that we were told by the web person that it was right at the GC. It was actually a 30 minute drive away. Very dishonest.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Reasonably price not to far from grand crayon"
Other places where twice the price a little closer to canyon, drive was not bad at allGenuine Expedia guest review
The shower was terrible. The hot water was too hot and when I tried to adjust with the cold water it stayed cold. Taking a shower----either scald yourself or freeze.Genuine Expedia guest review
"20 minutes from Grand Canyon South entrance"
Nice and clean hotel. Little store nearby. Very poor wifi connection.Genuine Expedia guest review
It is a nice hotel, we were very comfortable, we sure will stay there again if we need to...The only thing that I noticed but didn't bothered me was the noise coming from the second floor, we could hear the steps and the water running when they were taking a shower...But other than that it was very good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"a place to sleep"
WiFi did not work at all, our tech-savy grandkids were very disappointed in this issue!!! also, although the motel was not very full, we had a lower unit with someone directly above us, floors squeeked badly and footsteps were very loud. "Needs new plumbing"
We rented two rooms so I know it was not just a room problem. Both rooms had very noisy plumbing and showers had variable temperature and water pressure to the point to the water pressure stopped. Two family members gave up on showers which is sad after a dusty windy day at the Grand Canyon. Toilets required you to hold the handle at least 30 seconds […] to get them to flush properly. We were in the second building south of the check in building. The restaurant was very slow but the waitress was very pleasant and apologetic. Food there was about $14 salad, $19 steak and was OK. The Chicken alfredo and another noodle dish were poor and my teens refused to eat at the restaurant again although I personally did enjoy my steak. The main plus was that It is not located in Williams but is half way to the Grand Canyon on interstate 64. So it was not as long of a drive to get there. But consider taking the train from Williams and staying in a better hotel. I hear they have a train robbery on the train ride which sounds like fun! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel is located 30 min from Grand Canyon NP. However, it is very simple and not well maintained. There is no microwave and it is not allowed to cook in the room. "Nice hotel close to Grand Canyon."
Would have been nice if it was closer to Grand Canyon Train. Not much to do there however you go there to see the Grand Canyon.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great room for Grand Canyon adventure -"
I enjoyed this room - clean and has everything you need close by - wish there was a grocery store in town so make sure to stock up in Williams on your way. Poor internet connection - not ideal for work trip like mine - but clean and safe so no complaints except you gotta have Internet!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Already by the arrival, there is a notification at the reception desk that the working wi-fi is not guaranteed. And obviously such a information is relevant as the wi-fi connection is non existing. Free wi-fi should not be advertise in this hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
I woke up in the middle of the night freezing cold there was a huge gap under the door and the heater would shut off at 55 degrees at best . I was sick for 3 days because of the room. The bathroom floor was to cold to stand on in your bear feet and I has to run the shower for 10 minutes just so I could warm up the bathroom.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Nice hotel if you want to get away from it all"
Grand Canyon Inn was a fine motel for the value - half as much as the hotels closer to the Grand Canyon in Tusayan and only about a 20 minute drive further away. The rooms were clean, the staff super friendly, and I slept like a rock. Also the hotel restaurant, while a bit pricey, was surprisingly good for breakfast and dinner. HOWEVER - For those of […] you who have trouble "cutting the cord", this motel is located in the middle of no where. The cell coverage was decent but the data coverage almost nonexistent. They offer wifi, but it never worked the three days we were there. So, this motel is great if you want to get away from it all, or not so great if you need to stay connected. "Grand Canyon Inn, Valle, AZ (Williams address)"
This was exactly what we were looking for in the Grand Canyon area. The price was affordable and things were as hoped for when we booked and as advertised. Being retired and on limited income we don't need or want workout rooms and other foo foo stuff. We just wanted a clean & comfortable room near to the canyon to sleep in and to rest up in for the […] next day of exploring. We shall return to the canyon some day and stay here again. We stayed here on way to Grand Canyon. Location is perfect, only 30 min. Fron South rim. I am a light sleeper and did not hear a sound all night. Quiet and remote. Hotel is old and needs updating, but rooms were large and roomy. Did not try thebreakfast at their restaurant, so cant review. Good placefor the price and locale.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We were their two days and as far as location it was great we are from Texas so a half hour drive is nothing. The staff was very pleasant and the rooms were descent but they smelt like dog REAL BAD!! Don't get […] me wrong we love dogs we even have an inside dog at home and my house does not smell like that. It was quiet comfortable and AFFORDABLE!! I got over the smell real quick. "Very nice, close to the GC"
A very decent motel just 30 minutes away from the Grand Canyon, and the road it's on leads straight into the park. Friendly and knowledgeable reception, and sizable and comfortable rooms.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great for the price to visit Grand Canyon"
Everything was fine, nice big room. They claim to be upgrading their internet connection by April, 2014. If they do that, it would remove the only complaint.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Inexpensive motel near Grand Canyon"
Motel is affordable and clean. Convenient to south rim of Grand Canyon.Genuine Expedia guest review
Clean room, quite roomy, nice facility. Walking distance to convenience store. Only negatives would be tiny toilet, 1960's shower head, and Wi-Fi is very slow and can't get 4g there.Genuine Expedia guest review

made reservation for 3 people But only 2 went Had no problem in price agustment thanksGenuine Expedia guest review
Stay was good. All the amenities provided in the room were functioning. Comfort and service was also good. We found it much cheaper compared to GC base hotels. I would definitely recommend to anyone who are visiting GC.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Was fair nothing to do in the area after 9pm, other than that a place to sleep.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close enough to GC and still cheap"
Don't see why anyone would book a hotel in Tusayan, when this is just 20 minutes away and way cheaper. Room was nice and comfortable, free wi-fi is excellent in a place with low reception like this. Would book again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"There was no staff!"
We explained that we would be a total of 5 people and asked for fold out bed. they charged us additional monies for the extra person and extra bed.We said we would be in late they taped the key to the front door. When we got to the room, there was no fold out bed and there were only two towels for 5 people. We had no additional bedding, even to make […] a pallet on the floor.
