Already by the arrival, there is a notification at the reception desk that the working wi-fi is not guaranteed. And obviously such a information is relevant as the wi-fi connection is non existing. Free wi-fi should not be advertise in this hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
I woke up in the middle of the night freezing cold there was a huge gap under the door and the heater would shut off at 55 degrees at best . I was sick for 3 days because of the room. The bathroom floor was to cold to stand on in your bear feet and I has to run the shower for 10 minutes just so I could warm up the bathroom.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Nice hotel if you want to get away from it all"
Grand Canyon Inn was a fine motel for the value - half as much as the hotels closer to the Grand Canyon in Tusayan and only about a 20 minute drive further away. The rooms were clean, the staff super friendly, and I slept like a rock. Also the hotel restaurant, while a bit pricey, was surprisingly good for breakfast and dinner. HOWEVER - For those of […] you who have trouble "cutting the cord", this motel is located in the middle of no where. The cell coverage was decent but the data coverage almost nonexistent. They offer wifi, but it never worked the three days we were there. So, this motel is great if you want to get away from it all, or not so great if you need to stay connected. "There are better places to stay."
The free Wi-fi didn't work. The bed had flat sheets instead of fitted. The heating system also malfunctioned. The front desk staff was very nice though.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Grand Canyon Inn, Valle, AZ (Williams address)"
This was exactly what we were looking for in the Grand Canyon area. The price was affordable and things were as hoped for when we booked and as advertised. Being retired and on limited income we don't need or want workout rooms and other foo foo stuff. We just wanted a clean & comfortable room near to the canyon to sleep in and to rest up in for the […] next day of exploring. We shall return to the canyon some day and stay here again. We stayed here on way to Grand Canyon. Location is perfect, only 30 min. Fron South rim. I am a light sleeper and did not hear a sound all night. Quiet and remote. Hotel is old and needs updating, but rooms were large and roomy. Did not try thebreakfast at their restaurant, so cant review. Good placefor the price and locale.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We were their two days and as far as location it was great we are from Texas so a half hour drive is nothing. The staff was very pleasant and the rooms were descent but they smelt like dog REAL BAD!! We left for the canyon and came back our room was kinda picked up the beds looked like the kids made them an oh yeah there was that DOG SMELL!! Don't get […] me wrong we love dogs we even have an inside dog at home and my house does not smell like that. It was quiet comfortable and AFFORDABLE!! I got over the smell real quick. We would stay there again we will just pack the febreeze!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very nice, close to the GC"
A very decent motel just 30 minutes away from the Grand Canyon, and the road it's on leads straight into the park. Friendly and knowledgeable reception, and sizable and comfortable rooms.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great for the price to visit Grand Canyon"
Everything was fine, nice big room. They claim to be upgrading their internet connection by April, 2014. If they do that, it would remove the only complaint.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Inexpensive motel near Grand Canyon"
Motel is affordable and clean. Convenient to south rim of Grand Canyon.Genuine Expedia guest review
Clean room, quite roomy, nice facility. Walking distance to convenience store. Only negatives would be tiny toilet, 1960's shower head, and Wi-Fi is very slow and can't get 4g there.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel very close to enterance of grand caynon"
made reservation for 3 people But only 2 went Had no problem in price agustment thanksGenuine Expedia guest review
Stay was good. All the amenities provided in the room were functioning. Comfort and service was also good. We found it much cheaper compared to GC base hotels. I would definitely recommend to anyone who are visiting GC.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Was fair nothing to do in the area after 9pm, other than that a place to sleep.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close enough to GC and still cheap"
Don't see why anyone would book a hotel in Tusayan, when this is just 20 minutes away and way cheaper. Room was nice and comfortable, free wi-fi is excellent in a place with low reception like this. Would book again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good for 1 night"
Close to the canyon but limited services. Very limited food choices. Pizza and wingsGenuine Expedia guest review
It was fine. It was just a one nite stay and had no issues. Would stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"There was no staff!"
We explained that we would be a total of 5 people and asked for fold out bed. they charged us additional monies for the extra person and extra bed.We said we would be in late they taped the key to the front door. When we got to the room, there was no fold out bed and there were only two towels for 5 people. We had no additional bedding, even to make […] a pallet on the floor. There was no staff anywhere around. We got up the next morning to check out and there was once again no staff. There was no staff until 3 p.m.. How do you run a hotel with no staff? There were four adults staying in a room with two queens and we had plenty of space. The room was really nice esp for the price. It was only 20 min from the grand canyon. We had a great stay.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Get your kicks on route 66!"
We stayed here when visiting the Grand Canyon. It is only @ 20-30 minute drive from the Canyon, and if you procrastinate to make reservations on the canyon itself, this is a nice alternative. It certainly isn't the Hilton, but I didn't expect that when I booked it. It is a nice cozy hotel located on route 66, which was perfect for us because it also […] began our journey on the remains of historic route 66. The hotel offered a handicapped room and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the room was truly handicapped, someone in a wheelchair can actually maneuver in the room and in the bathroom, if that matters to you. "Good place to stay if visiting the Grand Canyon"
This is a good place to stay if you're visiting the Grand Canyon. It is not that far from the canyon but it is much cheaper than the hotels in Tusayan. The room was large. There was no free breakfast but the room was worth the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
In my opinion, this hotel is not worth what it asks for. It is EXPENSIVE with almost '0' facilities. I would like to visit grand canyon southern rim again - but will never stay at this place.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Near Grand Canyon National Park"
Wi-fi did not work although they kept saying it did; TV only has a couple of channels; walls are thin so we could hear children crying next door and water pipe noise when that family took their showers. Room was very large and clean and beds were OK. The only food in this little town is at this hotel or gas station. The lobby doesn't open until 6:30 […] AM and no free breakfast. Staff were friendly and nice and very close to Grand Canyon Park. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"You get what you pay for, right?"
I chose this place because they were the only hotel with rooms available last minute... noticeably super friendly staff! We arrived around 5am, they left us a cute little handwritten note by the door with our room key (since the office was closed). So sweet. The room was, well, a $60 room! We usually book 4-5 star hotels, so this place was a little […] less-than-usual BUT worth it. The room was huge, the heat worked well, the room was clean every morning... I could clearly hear some weirdos above us wrestling or tap dancing around 6am, but whatever, I turned the fan on high to drown them out and we enjoyed our stay:) Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Was not very satisfied with my stay. Could not get the heater to work, so we were cold all night and bundled up extra tight. Also there was no wheelchair or handicap access and they would not move us to a ground level room. And the shampoo supplied was open and half gone. Overall very disappointed.Genuine Expedia guest review
Hotel is older but in good condition. Our stay was ok. We would go back there to stay if in the area again.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel is NOT in Williams, AZ. It is located about 30 minutes north of Williams in a tiny town(?) called Valle (wasn't even on our GPS). That was somewhat confusing. It is about 30 minutes from the Grand Canyon. The hotel is clean but very basic. Some of the rooms appear to have been updated a bit, some not. We ended up having to switch rooms as […] the heater in the first room was extremely old and loud. The second room was better with a newer unit. The wi-fi was so-so. If we used it early in the morning, it wasn't too bad, but in the evening it was quite slow. If you are just looking for a place to sleep while you visit the canyon, it is fine. The attached restaurant is ok - not great, not bad. We went to the Grand Canyon Southern Rim one day and then took Hwy 89A between Flagstaff and Sedona the next day. That drive was absolutely beautiful! And Sedona is very nice. There are several jeep tour companies located in Sedona - it's worth the money to do a tour. The Grand Canyon Nat'l Park at the Southern Rim is extremely nice! They make it very easy to get around. The hotel is about an hour from Flagstaff, so it was a good central point for us. "Nice hotel. Great price"
Within 30 minutes of Grand Canyon. Restaurant was excellent and prices reasonable. Price gauging in Tusayan. Everything there was over priced there including McDonalds and Wendy's.Genuine Expedia guest review
Service was good. Rooms were cleanGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is about 30 minutes away from everything. There is no cell phone signal, and no WIFI (even though they said they had WIFI online). The tv signal was also poor, so you can barely watch television. The hotel has a restaurant, convenience store and gas station were all over priced (they price gauge because it is all owned by the same facility […] and you have to travel 20 - 30 miles in any direction to purchase elsewhere). It was more like a motel, where all the room doors open directly to the outside as well. This means there was a draft and it was hard to stay warm at night. The room was clean, but needed repaired. The bathroom shower was chipped, the water pressure was so powerful that it hurt to stand directly beneath the shower head. Additionally, the shower head was too low, so that I had a difficult time rinsing the shampoo from my hair. They must have an old water heater as well, because the water temperature kept switching from hot to cold - it was horrible! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
