The hotel is very nice and the rooms are beautiful. The staff is very friendly and the food is good. The problem is that the major road that runs directly next to the hotel shuts down at night for heavy construction. I have been awoken at 3 am every night to the sound of a jack hammer!!! The hotel itself is nice. The location worked for me because is close to my client and I could walk to my meetings everyday. After work is easy to get to restaurants in the polanco area. However, it is a difficult location to find and get to due to the fact that the street is one way and has limmited access. This was my 4th stay here in the past year. Since I am usually here for several weeks at a time, having a room with a kitchen is a real plus. The bed is super comfortable - especially compared to the other hotels in Mexico City I've stayed at. We had an incident where my unlawful was walking down the stairs that lead to the reception and he tripped on the raised floor that follows the last step of the stairs. He was really hurt enought to cause his blood pressure to drop and he ended up fainting to the ground. He came back of it after CPR and alcohol to his nose. A doctor was called to check […] on him and his foot and she prescribed some medicines and have him a shot. Management did not refund us for the doctors visit and were not even interested in apologizing for their unfinished floor instead they had an employee say they were sorry and told us to use the ramp from the garage to come into the hotel! It's a shame it was a nice little hotel but management/ building mistakes costed us more than the doctors visit , try touring around Mexico with a swollen ancle. Read more

Most taxis had a problem to find hotel The hotel is high tech in the theromostat, telephone. The two hotels computers . one was down and the second one u couldn't get the@ key to work. The computer is not geared to the US standards but Spanish. Very nice room and bed.

I would not recomend the Las Suites hotel in Mexico City. First of all, my driver had a difficult time finding the hotel. It is on a side street one block from a main street in Polanco. The outer appearance of the Hotel is very indiscript without so much as a sign visible to the public. Once inside, the interior is modern looking. I was given room #107, […] and although the room was very large and clean the stay was horrible. First the thermostat did not operate. I called and asked if someone could look at it and the maintenance man came quickly. I was told 10 minutes later that it was not fixable and that someone would bring me extra blankets. Management would not move me to a different room. It was very cold in the evenings and especially in the morning. The other unpleasant factor was the noise. My first night at the hotel, the night staff began to vacuum the lobby and the first floor. This is were I found out that the walls were very thin and the noise was unbearable. I called downstairs and asked the front desk to please stop the vacuum. They did, but the noise coming from next door and the outside was very loud and bothersome. This is a great hotel except for the noise. The first room they gave us was on the 6th floor of the tower right under the pump for the swimming pool. It sounded like there was a loud dishwasher running in the room. I was really annoyed that they even thought of putting us there when they had other rooms available. The second room was a little better […] except for this. There is no fan in the bathroom. They vent the bathroom through an open louver to the lobby. That means that if someone arrives at 3am, everyone in that tier of the hotel is awake hearing every word of the conversation at the desk. If noise does not bother you then this is a good hotel. I have absolutely no qualms about giving my highest recommendation to this hotel. It is ultra modern with an upscale European feel to it. All of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and there was always someone at the front desk who spoke excellent English. My suite was large with a balcony that overlooked their outdoor garden area. It was […] well-equipped with everything I needed for my two-week stay. I found the entire hotel to be incredibly relaxing and peaceful in an otherwise hectic city. Although I did not have time to use their equipment, the health club had an excellent variety of machines. The steam room and sauna opened onto a beautiful garden area, and the pool on the roof had great views of the city. The free parking garage - for those courageous enough to drive in Mexico City - is a real bonus in a city that has more cars than parking places. For those who prefer using taxis, the ones at the hotel offer better prices than any others I have used in the city. The continental breakfast had an excellent assortment of fresh fruits, cereal, yogurt, bread, pastries, meats and cheese. There was always hot coffee available - day and night. As a single woman I found the surrounding area to be extremely safe, and I frequently went walking in the early evening to the assortment of restaurants within a few-block radius. All in all, this is a truly delightful place to stay. I have already booked my stay here for my next trip to Mexico City. Read more

Spent one week staying here. Business visit. Very convenient for Polanco shops, restaurants and museums. Staff were helpful and courteous. Free Wifi in rooms, and free basic breakfast.

Las Suites is on the border of the Polanco area of Mexico City, well-situated for the business district and not too far from the centre, about a US$12 cab fare away. It is well-appointed, laid-back, modern with some thoughtful decorative touches and well-laid out public areas. My room was spacious with a massive fridge-freezer, a couple of electric […] rings, sufficient crockery/cutlery for a couple and tow massive TVs. The lighting could have been better designed, but that seems to be the case with 90% of hotel rooms. There are two six/seven storey towers. I was in Tower 2 at the back of the hotel. All rooms have balconies. Tower 2 backs on to the Perefirico, so it wasn't the quietest hotel room I've stayed in - had I the option, I probably would have moved. I was there a week and enjoyed my stay. It was certainly good value. A bit of travel advice. It is right at the end of Campos Eliseos and the best route to it is actually along Presidente Masaryk and then up Jorge Bernard Shaw (turn left at the synagogue!). Coming along Campos Eliseos itself, you get caught up in a one-way system that takes you down onto Masaryk and up Shaw anyway. The last 50 yards are against the one-way traffic using either route. The acid test is would I stay there again. The answer is yes - but I would ask for a room in Tower 1 at the front of the hotel. Read more

But no one can find it because it is at the end of Campos Eliseos where the road turns the opposite way of traffic. So if you are going by numeration going up Campos Eliseos, you would never find it.
