My wife thought it was creepy instead of romantic. Its nice but very odd. Would not stay again.

This was a fabulous 'find'. Completely unknown to us, the setting was in an elegant thermal spa town. The hotel lived up to its name Splendid. The room was spacious with a balcony with pleasant view. Downstairs one could take the waters where various thermals spas were pumped to flowing taps where one could sample 4 different waters containing different minerals. Best feature of all was the outdoor heated swimming pool with fabulous view of the surrounding hills and pine forests. It was like stepping into a lukewarm bath and a total delight after a long drive to relax in such a manner. (Only open from late Spring to early Autumn).Must certainly make point of visiting this hotel again.

THEY CLOSE AT SIX PM SO CALL AHEAD AND GET INSTRUCTION ON HOW TO GET IN AND GET YOUR KEYS! IF IT WASN'T FOR THE CAR RENTAL AGENT CALLING TO GET DIRECTIONS AND FINDING OUT THAT INFORMATION WE WOULD GOT THERE AT 11 PM WITH NO PLACE TO GO.

"A great find in Vichy, France"
Hotel De Grignan was a wonderful place to stay in Vichy. We were there for the Opera and it was located just a few blocks away with several good restaurants nearby. The hotel staff spoke English, which was a great help to us. They even planned out a personal walking tour map for us. Everything to see was within walking distance of the hotel. The room […] was a bit small but had great storage, a good bathroom with a shower and a great balcony. We would definitely stay there again and we will recommend this hotel to friends! I og for sig et udmærket hotel med fin beliggenhed. Værelset føles dog lidt indelukket, trangt og varmt. Det var ikke så behageligt som vi forventede. Det behæver jo ikke at være hotellets skyld.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Hôtel agréable et très propre , central mais tranquille . Confort assez rudimentaire:chambres et salles de bain beaucoup trop petites et lits étroits . Insonorité insuffisante .
