Siena isn't that big, so any hotel near the old city is really fine in terms of location. We just did a quick one-day sidetrip from Florence, so the convenience of this hotel to the main bus terminal was great. Room was more than adequate.

What a wonderful location close to La Porta Romana! We used the hotel parking for 10€ per night, and walked into town. The evening concierge was extremely helpful with getting us situated, AND thoughtful. We chose to bring back dinner to eat in our rooms, so he set us up in the breakfast room instead. It was like having a great little evening to ourselves in a wonderfully decorated restaurant. We had a loft room, so our two kids LOVED it. We have been through Siena many times, but we always stay near Florence. Not anymore!!! If you have kids, it would be alright to stay here, as the rooms were quiet and the entire staff was on point.

Loved the Villa during a Siena / Tuscany agriturismo stay. Walking distance to a supermarket. Has Enoteca on site! It is not a hotel, but a apartment hotel Loved it. Service impeccable, help with info on tours, bus schedules etc... Close to Siena, but preferably to cab since it's uphill.

We traveled to Italy during the winter months, and while this place was a cute little B&B, the heat had not been turned on prior to our arrival and it did really not adequately warm up overnight. The breakfast the next morning was lovely, the views were beautiful. I could see this being a really great place to stay as long as it is during warm weather. Communication is also very difficult if you do not speak Italian.

"Great View & Service"
My wife and I had a great experience. The accomodation is well maintained, and clean. We stayed in the Rosa room, which overlooked the swimming pool, with a great view of the Siena city centre. Originally a house > 500 years, owned by the family, was renovated to provide the accomodation service. The host, Letizia, was very friendly and helpful even […] though we did not speak Italiano, and she spoke little Inglese. She served breakfast w/ a personal touch. We had breakfast in an open area, along a long table, together with other guests, a great experience to know new friends. Nice place to base yourself for a few days if you plan to visit Siena city and surrounding vineyards. The Duomo area is only 5min drive to a public carpark, thereafter a 15min walk to the Duomo. *You must drive to enjoy the place. *Regret: Stayed only 1 night due to schedule. Posizione tranquilla, camera economics un po sacrificata, colazione ottima. Proprietaria molto gentile e disponibile. Per raggiungere il posto c'è una strada un po' stretta ma non è molto lontano dal centro.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
