The Cathedral Hotel is centrally located and the staff were marvelous. Our family enjoyed our visit to the town and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. There is no parking, which can't be helped because of the location, but they gave clear instructions on town lots not too far away. We had a good dinner and full breakfast at the hotel and would be happy to stay there again.

I only stayed at Wisteria for one night, I was doing a short trip to Stonehenge, so I wasn't there very long, but I really like the accommodation. It is a little outside of town, but it is actually pretty easily accessible by bus, the 7x, which I did not realize when I came in so I took a cab. Do your homework beforehand. I had a single room, and it was a nice size and good shower/facilities. There is no TV in the room, but there was a nice lounge area with a TV, games, tea kettle, et al. Felicity made the stay very easy and I can't say enough about her: I left my phone in my room and had a very short period of time before I was going to be leaving London. She worked with me by phone and email to overnight the phone to my London hotel before I left the UK. Highly recommend!

Spent three nights here and was very comfortable. Charming house with great garden. The hosts were very friendly and everything was spotless. Breakfast was in true English style in the elegant dining room. I recommend the eggs with smoked salmon.

Over all, excellent, arrived on Friday and met by Russ, room A1, beer also A1, atmosphere top notch and live music first rate. A good weekend, we will stay again, didn't use the car all weekend, everything to hand, we will most probably come by Train next time, station only 100 or so yards away.

Was fine although door stuck because of new paint. Couldn't open the window just a bit for air. No light over sink or bed (just a central light). No hairdryer. All this said great breakfast, location and room was very clean.

I really wasn't expecting such a quality stay for rooms above a pub located near a station. To my relief, our room on the top floor was silent (we stayed a Thursday night, so perhaps we might have heard a bit more at the weekend, but I'm not so sure), and was beautifully furnished, with TV, sofa, tea & coffee making equipment etc. Pub is a sport pub, […] but there is an area away from the screens if you prefer. Pub serves pies which were really delicious - so probably it's not going to please someone looking for gastro experience, but was perfect for us. Very friendly staff. I would definitely stay again. Extremely handy for rail connections and the Isle of Wight Ferry, so would be good to stay here overnight prior to getting the ferry over to the Island. Read more

Everyhing was very good for our one night stay. The room was ready when we arrived and I only had to put my car registration on the check in form. Breakfast was superb in the morning and checking out if there were not any extras was just leave the key and go. Altogether a very nice stay

Hotel is located in a handy position for the station and only a very short walk to the town centre. Good parking facilities at the back of the hotel with an attractive garden. I would describe this a a pub with rooms and good value for money. Room was clean and comfortable with staff and owners friendly and helpful.

The politeness and welcome provided by the staff was excellent. Whilst problems can occur the lack of heating all night in the bathroom didn't help. Breakfast was lovely and for a good meal out try Graze which is just round the corner

A very comfortable, pleasant and spacious room. The Bosun's Chair is well located, close to Lymington town centre and very near the railway station. I'd definitely stay there again. Great value.

This is the most gorgeous B&B in a lovely little town. We were so sad that we only had one night there, we would have loved to have stayed a few days and explore the local area. It's a hotel above a pub so we were expecting the worst but were pleasantly surprised by an absolutely delightful room. The staff at the hotel were fantastic and the breakfast […] was delicious! we did a 1 night stay here on the way to the isle of wight. the room was very nice and comfortable, though the shower head could have been better. the breakfast was good and the service friendly. our only observation and not a critisism was that the bar area was quite austere and cold looking. we would have liked to see some sofas and comfortable chairs […] and curtains etc. to entice you to stay and have a drink there. the gardens were really nice. Det är ju inte ett hotell i traditionell mening utan snarare en pub med hotelldel. Vi var 2 vuxna och det fungerade bra. Vi var där över påsken det var förvånandsvärt tyst trots att stationen ligger nära. Sista dagen var en vanlig arbetsdag och då hördes trafik etc mer. Musik i puben på fredagskvällen som säkert hördes i hela huset men det var bara […] trevligt och höll inte på särskilt sent. Traditionell frukost som är riklig.
