Ok, Barcelona is expensive to stay in so I must qualify that first. I had to sleep 6 people on a budget and wanted to be walking distance to everything so this place fit my needs. This is a persons apartment they rent out for vacation use which is great but we were looking for something marked with the name and took forever to actually find the apartment. […] Also, I was never told that we should call the owner once we arrived at the airport so that someone could meet us there for the keys so we had to wait a little while for the keys. Also, there are many stairs which did not bother my young group but for anyone with any kind of physical ailment, this would not be a good choice. Looks terrible from the outside but perfectly acceptable inside. OK for a cheap short break as long as you only use it as a base to sleep and eat, it would also help if you like lots of steep, narrow stairs and don't mind having to enter and exit a very dodgy looking door on a less than salubrious street. Nice and clean, lots of towels and everything […] you could need supplied, beds are weak and flimsy, but with good thick mattresses. Beware the phone number is essential as you have to phone to get someone to come to the door to let you in and give you the keys. The hotel did not resemble the photos on the expedia website. The lounge/kitcen area had a very bad smell that wouldn’t go away. We had just a few of small towels for a family of 5 people, our request for more towels was ignored. Our request for a mop to dry the wet bathroom floor (thanks to the useless shower curtain) was also ignored. The internet […] connection did not work, and the staff member I spoke to was not interested in attempting to help me resolve the problem. We liked the location, we would score it a 5 if public transport was available a bit closer. However I could imagine the location would not be to many travellers’ taste. The stairs were difficult for the elderly member of our party, indeed all of us with the suitcases. The 2 gentlemen we dealt with towards the end of our stay were pleasant, just a shame we didn’t get to speak to them earlier on. Read more

Storveis. Hadde ikke lest informasjonen vi hadde fått og ble veldig skeptiske da vi kom til gatedøra. Inntrykket ble ikke bedre davi ble låst inn og så den ekstremt trange trappen uten heis, men liligheten va en positiv overraskelse så ikke la deg skremmme :-)

Vi havde nogle dårlig oplevelser, der var ingen steder vi kunne hente nøglen, vi måtte ringe til jeres kontor, og spørge til, hvordan vi fik nøglen, herefter måtte vi vente 45 minutter før der kom en og gav os nøglen. Det viste sig senere at den nøgle vi havde fået udleveret, ikke passede til lejligheden, hvilken resulterede at vi ikke kunne komme ind […] i lejligheden. L'hotel è situato in una laterale della Rambla principale della città, la notte è preferibile non uscire a causa degli spacciatori, papponi e prostitute sparsi un po' ovunque come fossero decoro urbano. Noi abbiamo soggiornato in 4 amici maschi e quindi essendo un piccolo gruppo ci fidavamo già di più a muoverci, ma soli è da evitare. Di giorno la situazione […] cambia molto e la zona diventa vivibile. L'appartamento è stato ristrutturato di recente con arredamento ikea. La pulizia generale non era proprio massima #pavimenti sporchi e muri rovinati#, cambio asciugamani, biancheria in 4 giorni mai effettuato. Doccia ad angolo con tendina che però non arrivava a terra quindi l'acqua scolava sul pavimento sprovvisto di scolo allagando il bagno. Riscaldamento con 3 inverter, quello del salotto con problemi allo scolo della condenza #interno al muro# che provocava un forte odore di fogna dopo soli 20 minuti di utilizzo, rendendo necessario riscaldare tutto l'appartamento con quelli presenti nelle camere e lasciando le porte aperte, pena il dover arieggiare in continuazione. Infine io non ci tornerei più che per l'appartamento in se per la locazione. Read more

Appartamento sito al 4° piano senza ascensore, scale piccole e molto ripide, fotografie che non corrispondono alla realtà, finestre senza serrande con la luce che filtra dalle tende svegliandoti la mattina, bagno piccolo con tenda doccia rotta che faceva allagare sempre il pavimento, pulizia scarsa, assenza assoluta di WI-FI e televisore con decoder […] non funzionante; unica nota positiva la vicinanza alla rambla. Arrivée de nuit impressionnante dans un quartier aux allures inquiétantes. Appartement grand et correct dans l'ensemble mais pas du tout de service hôtelier: une seule serviette poussiéreuse dénichée dans le fond d'une armoire ...1ère douche difficile à 4!!! Accueil serviable voir obséquieux du contact pour les clés mais contacts impossibles par téléphone […] le lendemain.
