Sheraton Genova Hotel & Conference Center - Genoa

I had just a few hours to crash before my early morning flight and this was the place to do it, to be sure. It provided comfort, helpfulness, and a quick walk to the terminal in the morning. The only odd thing was no wi-fi because, reportedly, it was taken out by lightning, but I sensed no urgency in getting it restored.

This airport and Mediterranean Sea view Hotel is within easy walking distance from the GOA Airport baggage claim area. The only reason we had to use their complimentary shuttle service was because it was pouring rain when we arrived. This hotel has great staff but shows little attention to room detail. Air conditioning is minimal at best. Hair dryer is pretty much non-functional. Dining staff a bit rude. Hotel was a little tired but a decent stop overall. The restaraunt was just okay but convenient. Underground parking was great. Watch the internet....you can purchase by a block of hours but they said it was for one sitting. They did credit second internet charge when leaving.....but it took some convincing that their policy was not clear.

This Sheraton was just what we needed on the last night of our tour of Italy. We loved the fact that we could walk to the airport and it only took us about 3 minutes. The rooms were incredibly quiet--we had to look out the window to see if there really were planes taking off. The hotel restaurant was more than adequate and the staff was very helpful.

It was nice to be so close to the Genoa airport. The room had a really nice and comfortable bed, the bathroom was large and had lovely bathtub with hot water. The breakfast was really good. I would use this hotel again.

Proximity to the airport can't be beat. Really quiet. Good value for the price. Staff were all superb. The 'safe' was making a chirping noise much of the night and there were no written instructions in its use. I was up at least three times to try to get it to stop even duct taping it once. Did not want to call the front desk as at least one of us was […] getting some sleep! Also, some black, powdery stuff was coming out of the vent near the ceiling and had stained the ceiling and got on our hands from touching the window. Was there a fire in this hotel recently? Great location, literally across central train station. Walking distance from most landsites. Free wi-fi everywhere and functional at all times. Good breakfast. Staff give great service and is very efficient. Small gym open 24 hr and very clean. Hallways need to be refreshed. Overall great hotel. Recommend it to anyone.

The stay was horrible. I did not ever stay at a hotel worse than this. My backpack was stolen when I was checking in, mainly because it took forever for the reception to do the check-in. They asked you to pay the city tax on the check-in day, wile most other hotels in Italy asked you to pay the next day. The staff were not helpful in doing anything. […] They were not familiar with the procedure. They could not provide the camera record. They did not take care of you. They just did not want to help you to solve the trouble even they have to take at least some responsibility. The service was so bad. You cannot imagine how far behind this is compared to the sheraton in North America. The location was not very convenient either. It was so disappointing. This hotel is perfectly located at Genoa Airport, just a 2 minute walk to the terminal. Service was fantastic - nothing was too much trouble. You can also park your car here for a very reasonable rate.

I cuscini puzzavano di muffa! Il bagno era dotato di doccia vecchia e scomoda. Ogni volta che chiedevamo che ci venisse portato qualche servizio in camera, arrivavano sempre solo dopo almeno 40 minuti!

Hotelservice sehr gut. Ein bisschen weit bis zum Zentrum. Waren mit dem Motorrad da, daher keine Probleme ins Zentrum zu kommen. Die Kissen stanken für diese Hotelkategorie zu stark. Schade dass es kein Frühstück gab.Kann dieses Hotel Empfehlen.

Ottime prestazioni, anche la navetta a disposizione per chi deve andare in aereoporto, comoda se piove a dirotto e devi partire alle 7 del mattino, come nel mio caso, prezzi leggermente migliori se prenoti con compagnia aerea.

Sono sicuro che un cliente Sheraton worldwide non sia abituato al livello di finiture e alla manutenzione dello Sheraton Genova aeroporto. Le mie impressioni negative sono anche dovute ad alcuni servizi che in questa classe dovrebbero essere inclusi nel prezzo. L'extra-costo di internet in camera e parcheggio sono odiosi e riflette lo stato di crisi […] dell'economia italiana. Il pacchetto promozionale offerto per internet e frigo bar rende tutto molto più triste, non è da catena Sheraton, anche se ammetto di non aver visitato gli Hotel Sheraton in Africa e nei Paesi del terzo mondo (a parte l'Italia).
