This was a one nighter stop to catch an early flight next morning, but I was pleasantly surprised at the Tourist Hotel. I was quaint and clean with a modern feel. The location was great, right by the main square and the shopping promenade. The room was very pleasant with large sliding doors that opened up to a small balcony looking towards the harbour-great to relax in the evening. I was not happy with having to leave my key at the front desk everytime you leave the hotel, also there is a safe in the room, but it is not bolted down, so in fact someone could walk out with the whole safe.

Conveniently near the airport, Villa Moschona is in Kefalonia (Lakithra), close to Ammes Beach, Makris Yalos Beach, and Ai Helis Beach. Also nearby is Avithos Beach.
