"Very uncomfortable will never stay there again"
I never in my life experience a hotel like this it was the most uncomfortable room I ever experienced the rooms are very small no television or space to even walk the bed is hard where you can feel the springs on your body will never stay there again.

"Sun Bright Hotel"
The hotel is going to have a good thing going soon. It is going through changes now because it is being fix first. The price is always great. The hotel has two ladies and their names are Miss Kathy and Miss Tiana. These ladies will make your stay very pleasant. Just be patient and enjoy yourself.

"Come to Sun Bright Hotel"
When I just want to rest from all the busy things I do, I go to this hotel to do this. One of the most important reason I truly like this hotel is that of two (2) ladies that work there and I came to admire so much. Their names are Miss Kathy and Miss Tiana. They make my stay there so pleasant. I just ask them about a problem and they get on it quickly. So, I hope that you have a great stay as I do in the hotel. Oh! "Skip by this one"
It is what it is. I would not recommend staying here. The beds were terrible, the neighborhood was very loud and very rough. The bathrooms were kept very clean. I won't return to this hotel.

"Never Again"
The Staff were nasty. I am a middle class person, but they were talking to me like I'm homeless. It was a mistake to stay there. I think I should have paid a little more money and stayed at a decent hotel. Showers and bathrooms are disgusting, really really disgusting. The neighborhood is awful at night.

"Horrible place and people. Always Avoid."
Very awful experience. The person at the front desk was very arrogant and unprofessional. Its better to spend the night at the airport than to spend money on this filthy place.

"I was terribly cold at night!Bring pajamas!!!"
Overall, I would say, it was OK for the price. I lived on 2nd floor.I used towels against the windows (I stayed in late December ), to prevent myself from the wind out of the windows. Don't take a corner room! The corridor is L-shape, so closer you are to the office, warmer would your room be (was not my case.) The bed was clean though..

"Good location, but poor inside condition"
The location is within the Chinatown, close to the Grand St station. So it is convenient to go anywhere. The price is ok, but the rooms are not separated, so you can hear people snoring all the night, or even talking and breathing. So if you are sensitive to the noise, please do not book this hotel, otherwise, you will be awake all night. The bathroom condition was bad, not quite clean.

"Basic shelter with unsatisfactory shared bathrooms"
The three staff behind the front desk were not rude but apparently were in some kind of discussion. I was a distraction and it took a very long time to check me in. Room was clean and even has enough space to stand by the side of the bed if you don't have any luggage in the room. Luggage storage during a stay is available below the front desk. The top of the room is a wire mesh which opens up to a common space below the ceiling so you can hear everything in the surrounding. Common bathrooms on the same floor need work: two were out of order, one has a door which does not lock/latch, one has a missing toilet seat, some fixtures were loose, and an exterminator service call is overdue - saw a couple of small water bugs in the bathrooms. This is a budget hotel/hostel but I would still expect the bathrooms to be clean and functional and bug free.

"Professional Conduct Should Never Have a Price"
Despite the unfavorable reviews I decide to see for myself how this hotel was. For the price you have to walk up these narrow stairs with your luggage. The front desk reception was on duty when I checked in were less than accommodating. However, the morning shift was much more pleasant and helpful. In my room a small TV was sitting on the floor and even after asking a few times for a small table to place the TV on nothing was ever done. The walls a paper thin and you can hear people talking through the night and walking up and down the hallways through the night and early morning. I will recommend this hotel to anyone. Professional conduct is always expected no matter what the price and no matter where you are.

"Awful Experience"
It sounded as if there were small feet of rodents in the walls of the hotel. The rooms offered no privacy because of the cramped quarters. There were no guest visiting allowed. I will never return to this hotel.

"Location, location, location."
This hotel has some pretty negative reviews, so we were a bit hesitant to stay here. Yes, the hotel isn't squeaky clean and the rooms aren't spectacular....but if you're like me, you won't spend much time in your hotel.....so the only thing that matters is the location. And this location is spot on. If you're after a cheap hotel in downtown NYC, I'd recommend the Sun Bright Hotel.

Sun Bright is in a good location, but it is dirty like hell. You can still go there when you are really really in low budget and in emergency situation. It is a place where men with low budget can go. never take your girl-friend there, especially not take your date there.

"Very good relation price/location"
Excellent location in South Manhattan for the price! Very close to the pedestrian entrance to the Brooklyn bridge, NY town hall, Wall Street, etc. I didn´t sleep tough because of the noise people made all night long talking in the corridor, banging doors, etc. My bed didn´t have an upper sheet, and the duvet/blanket wasn´t clean and had hairs.
