I was hesitant to book this hotel because of some of the comments. There were no other hotels with rooms available, anywhere, because of the hurricane. The room was huge, the beds were comfortable and the staff was very helpful. All in all it was a very pleasant experience.

great location clean nice facility. we actually looked at a couple of other rooms to bring the kids with us or stay longer. The rooms are clean. good quality towels looks like they just bought them the owners live on the premises and are willing to make the guest happy. We are thinking of making this our affordable getaway to the Hamptons.

I liked the design of the room with a big, comfortable couch, a big desk and a divider between the bed and the rest of the room. we had a man who was drunk come up to our room thinking it was his room and trying to practically knock the door down. it was a bit unnerving. It was about 11 pm and I had to try a few numbers on the phone before someone answered, once they did however, they came right up and took care of it. The room was large and bed super comfy, the couch was great […] too as was the flat screen tv that swiveled for couch or beds. Nice big roomy shower too with sliding doors and no gross curtain hitting you! My husband said its the nicest hotel he's been in second only to the one in Manhattan he stayed years ago. Parking is tricky, not really enough spots and they didnt tell us there was some parking in back (would have been nice to know before our last night there!) but aside from that would definitely stay again. Going to Long Island for the first time we weren't really sure where to stay, so we went with the Hyatt name. We weren't disappointed in our choice. The hotel property is clearly new and managed well. Ideally located if you plan to spend time exploring the Montauk Point area and even making a circle tour including Sag Harbor and Shelter Island.

Hotel was full as a result of Hurricane Sandy but breakfast was well stocked near the end of the designated time. The aquarium is adjacent to the hotel and at present gave a 50% discount for having a room key.

We arrived following a 180 mile trip from New Jersey and were greeted like family. We were told that we would have to be upgraded since a large group had taken all the lowest priced rooms. Our room was a corner room overlooking the water, just delightful, extremly large with two Queen size beds. The bathroom was very large and clean. The only problem we […] had involved the TV which couldn't display a "menu" for the system, due to the weekend it wasn't possiable to have a repairman look at the system. The staff were extremely helpful; breakfast was above average - nice assortments of hot and cold choices changed daily, convenient to aquarium and other attractions, accessible location and GREAT food!

The hotel is brand new and the rooms are spacious. The complimentary breakfast is very good. I don't know what's the problem with the room service. I have to ask three times in a day for the room to be done.
