Limoges did not seem to be a tourist-friendly place. The hotel was very nice, the personnel were very helpful but there was no convenient place to eat.

Description of Art Hotel Tendance - Limoges

Location.
Situated in the heart of Limoges, Art Hotel Tendance is close to Champ de Juillet Park, Church of St-Michel-des-Lions, and Musee National Adrien Dubouche. Also nearby are Limoges Cathedral and Church of St-Pierre-du-Queyroix.

Hotel Features.
Dining options at the hotel include a snack bar/deli. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas. The staff can provide secretarial services and computer rentals. Additional amenities include laundry facilities, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and room service (during limited hours). This is a smoke-free property.

We stayed art the Art Hotel Tendance for a night when crossing France. It is a fairly nice hotel, with themed rooms some more interesting and practical... than others. The rooms are small but adequate, but the shower in our room was very tight and much care had to be taken to avoid hitting the shower control for a sudden scalding or freezing! We opted not to have the breakfast, which was a mistake because virtually all of Limoges was closed on a Sunday morning. In fact, Limoges is hardly worth a visit if it is to be on a Sunday. The Art Hotel is a little off the beaten track, though a walk to the "Cow on the Ceiling" restaurant for dinner is quite easy and well worth it. Parking is on the street, but not a problem and it is free. The hotel in OK and a good value as a brief stop-over. Hotel is no more than a 10 minute walk from the station and was excellent value for money. Breakfast was charged at 8 Euros but was all lovely and fresh and varied (breads, croissants, meats, cheeses, cereal etc etc) Within 15 minutes (easy) walk you are in the heart of Limoges and there was also a lively market in the adjacent square on Saturday. Not a bad hotel, but about half a mile from the centre of Limoges. Wi-Fi was OK. Parking was on-street. English language not brilliant, but staff were very helpful.

Une déco soignée et originale.Un accueil très sympathique avec un personnel à l'écoute. Aucune difficulté pour se garer (et gratuitement!) quelque soit l'heure, tout en étant à dix minutes à pied du centre ville.

Les chambres sont confortables ( on en avait réservé 2 ) . Salle de bain très spacieuse et très classe ! Ce sont des chambres à thème très bien décorées ! En revanche le petit déjeuner laisse à désirer .. Pas assez de choix . Enfin le personnel est sympathique . Hotel bien situé .

Un accueil d'une inhabituelle gentillesse et disponibilité. Une chambre très propre et des draps et serviettes impeccables. Petit hôtel avec peu de chambres, un sans faute. Le petit plus : le décor de chaque chambre en fonction d'un pays (nous avons visité Maroc, Canada, Suède) qui ajoute encore un plus agréable à ce séjour très réussi.
