Overall a bad experience. Dirty, smokey room with uncomfortable beds. Pool heater was broken and water was extremely cold. On second night of stay, false fire alarms went off around 6am. Spend a little extra and stay somewhere else.

Easy check-in, inviting lobby. Rooms are large, our bed was comfortable. Free breakfast was more than we expected .... waffles & syrup, scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, biscuits, gravy, cinnamon rolls, cold cereal (4 different choices), assorted fresh fruits, coffee, milk, juice .... self-serve and was constantly replenished. This is a "no-frills" hotel […] but it is clean, right off the freeway but not so close to freeway to hear traffic noise, and very convenient to the Baylor Univ. campus and the Floyd Casey football stadium.....literally just a few minutes from each location. This hotel did not come close to meeting my expectations for what I had to pay per night! The bed was extremely hard and only covered by a flat sheet that was tucked in on the sides, but not on the head-board end. There was not a coffee pot in the room. When I asked about one at the front desk, they put one out for me, but only had decaf coffee to offer. […] It was very dark in the room. There were three lamps; one did not work and the other two had 40W and 60W bulbs. The "hot breakfast" consisted of a pan of dried up scrambled eggs, frozen waffles laying on a plate, pre-packaged snack-type cakes and a loaf bread. Coffee was brewed in 10-12 cup coffee pots as you would use at home. When I asked the hostess if this was all we had to choose from, she directed me to a meeting-type room that was connected to the breakfast area. That is where a few more selections were found. As I was getting ready to leave, she said to me "Are you happy now?" with a very sarcastic tone. I would not even consider staying at this hotel on future trips to Waco. Read more

Internet didn't work... Towels felt like they had been used 20 years. For a hotel that was less than 2 years old, there were many holes in the wall. Basic amentities like a clock/alarm were not available.

This was a terrible experience. They gave our room to someone else and put us in a handicapped room that smelled of urine. The towels and wash cloths had a distinct odor of feet, and the bathroom light was dripping, which caused all lights in/near bathroom to go out with a loud pop. The room on the third floor smelled like cigarettes even though the whole facility is supposed to be a non-smoking one. The bathroom had hair around the toilet base which would lead you to believe the whole place is probably not cleaned very well. The one good thing was the clerk on duty when we checked in. Very clean, immaculate, everything was wonderful!! Courtney greeted us warmly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was fantastic. She demonstrated what customer service is and should be recognized for open, welcoming, "going the extra mile" attitude. The breakfast was great -- actually had scrambled eggs, sausage, pastries, cereal, waffles, […] biscuits and gravy, etc. Very difficult to find ANYTHING negative about this hotel! Only thing I can think of was the hot tub wasn't hot, but that is pretty common based on my experience. The hotel is located on the southside of Waco, but easy access onto I-35 puts you within 5-10 minutes of Waco. Read more

I expected high quality and decent shape of things because it is a brand new hotel. They still have a long ways to go in order to meet the expectations of your average business traveler. Internet connections were not operational. Maybe because i was at the end of the hall but they had multiple access points per floor so that should not have been an […] issue. Towels were old and scratchy. Again a new hotel and expected a little bit nicer / newer towels. The building or contractor punch list must be a mile long. The shower tile work was poor. Stairwell carpet was poorly installed. Missing ice machines (stubbed in but not installed), AC took forever to cool. Hate to give a bad review. In the middle of nowhere between Waco and Temple, my expectations were lower to begin with. People were nice and very helpful. McD is right next door. Read more

The hotel is newly built but obviously they didn’t do a construction clean up before opening. There were staples and debris all over the carpet. There was paint and caulk all over the bathroom. Also, the bathroom had hair every where. The bathroom mirror had tooth paste all over it. The towels were dirty, thin and rough….felt like “shop”” rags. We were […] attending a wedding within 1 mile of the hotel and didn’t have time to be picky about leaving the unsatisfactory hotel. I was totally miserable in this hotel. At check out, my receipt had my name but someone elses address and credit card (last 4 digits). The amount was not correct either. They told me everything would be ok.
